Jay is an excellent agent. He helped me trough my first home, which means I had a lot of questions and took up a lot of his time. He was happy to help me and treated me like I was a client buying a 2 million dollar home (I was a lot less than that). Jay answered every question, email, or phone call in a timely manner and made sure I understood the process. He kept on top of the lender which was instrumental in closing the deal. Working with Jay is knowing you have someone in your corner that is going to do everything he can to make what you need to happen. I am pretty sure he worked harder than I did when it came to my purchase

We were trying to buy a home for months before we met Alex Medina. We went through 3 agents. Alex was so knowledgeable and organized. The impressive part is not only did he land our dream home but how many obstacles he overcame. He negotiated like a pro and saved us a ton of cash. However the most impressive part is after the sale of the house when other agents would have phoned it in Alex dug in. The selling agent was terrible and Alex whipped him in to shape. Alex succeeded all expectations and is a fantastic agent.

It’s a difficult process buying a house. Having real estate friends is a HUGE hook up. I found Jay and Rich on Zillow. I LOVED my experience with them; Strong follow up, but not annoying… they handled everything professionally and I was totally happy with my house buying experience. I felt like they looked out for my interests, but still let me comfortably make my own decisions. I didn’t feel pushed, pressured, or like I «had» to pick a house. We don’t buy houses that often (hopefully) but the next time I do, I would not hesitate to call Jay or Rich again

Excellent service! As a first time buyer moving from out of state, I had a lot of questions… but Jay and Stefanie helped guide me through the whole process. They are really knowledgeable about specific neighborhoods and school districts, and even recommended a great lender. If you want to buy a home, call Rich and Jay. We were thinking of buying a home, but had a few questions about the process. We found them on Unilocal and gave them a call. Jay just helped us close on our second house. We lucked out with housing prices on the rise, and being in one of the hottest markets in the Nation (Orange County). Jay’s strategic marketing and timing netted us 11 offers. The offer we ended up choosing was bulletproof, and a whopping 16% over asking.
Just be warned. Jay can dish out the tough love. If something needs to change, or be thrown out, or be cleaned… Be prepared to do it. He holds himself to extremely high standards, and works best when you can raise yourself to match him at his game. He knows what he’s doing, and you need to trust him. We love Jay, and are bummed that we’ve now moved out of his region of expertise. If we ever move back to Orange County, he’ll be the first person we call. In the meantime, we look forward to steering any of our friends in the Yorba linda area toward Jay. He’s the best!

My wife and I purchased our first home last year through Jay Bourgana. Working with Jay and his team was the best decision we made.
We interviewed a number of agents before deciding on working with him, and he was very supportive in our decision to deliberate before deciding. Once we decided to work with Jay, he was extremely engaged, regularly providing great advice and recommendations.
Jay and Alex were incredibly understanding, patient, and thoughtful throughout the process of finding a home. Alex took time to get to know my wife and I, and quickly understood our needs better than we ourselves could articulate. He would regularly steer us away from places that he knew might cause us problems down the road. He encouraged us to enjoy the process, and firmly believed that we would know right away when we found the right place.
When we found the right place, Jay did an incredible job in landing the home purchase for us. His history of great work gave us increased credibility with the seller, and he worked throughout an evening and weekend to get our offer in quickly. But despite the hurried nature of the sale, Jay was patient, relaxed, and supportive. It is no exaggeration to say that we would not have been able to get the home we did without Jay.

My wife and I contacted Jay Bourgana through Zillow and we’ve never felt so lucky to find him. His knowledge of the Brea neighborhoods and expertise about its increasingly competitive market was invaluable in helping us find a great home with a tight deadline.
Our situation was unique and multifaceted; we were first time home buyers with a soon to expire lease in Anaheim Hills and a child on the way! We decided to purchase a home in Brea closer to my wife’s office, and started looking seriously for a home towards the end of her second trimester.
Jay was always super responsive to us if we found a home online and wanted to see it, he sent us MLS listings regularly for consideration. The experience of buying a home for the first time can be quite a roller coaster, and Jay was patient with us as we sometimes got frustrated with the process. He would reassure us that we would find a good fit before the baby was born.
At one point we visited him at his office to go over offer paperwork. We got flighty and decided to back out on a certain house at the last moment, he turned that into an opportunity for us to educate ourselves about the paperwork involved which was a huge help later on when we finally did make a winning offer.
He used his years of knowledge of the local market to teach us what would be a winning bid, and how to navigate a multiple offer situation. We really loved that Jay knew many of the other realtors we encountered at open houses and got along with them well. He and the seller’s agent worked wonderfully together with our lender to help us close on the house in 21 days.
We’re now all moved into our home near Country Hills with weeks to spare before our baby is born.
We will definitely be working with Jay again in the future, and would recommend him highly to any friends or family looking to purchase a home in Orange County.
