I originally found his advertisement on Craigslist and wasn’t sure if this was a legit business but my hubby really wanted a table. After sending my husband out to take a look he could not have been more pleased. Dave is super accommodating and was willing to meet my husband at 7:30 on a Saturday morning. David is very friendly and has several tables in his business. I met him to buy a used table. But I wanted a table that will be suitable for being outside. He gave me a great deal on a different fiberglass table with a net and ball holder that I won’t need to get a cover for. Glad I found him. Check him out. He’s very passionate about his tables.

David was able to assemble my table and deliver immediately. David backs up his products and promised me that he will come on site to do any necessary repairs. I purchased a very nice table from David Heap. I was looking for a good outdoor table that my family (that includes three young boys) could use and would hold up. I went with the mind set to buy a used table he had listed but we were able to get a good deal on a new Kettler table. He was very concerned that he matched my needs to the table that would bring the most value to my family. He certainly knows Ping Pong. The table I bought was already assembled and David helped me load it in my truck.
Set up the table tonight and had a small party for my son and his friends. The table was a hit and everyone had a great time. It was well worth the investment just for that. Thank you David.

Mr. David Heap is awesome! I was searching for a used ping pong table for my 9 year old for his birthday and couldn’t find a decent one that wasn’t damaged and new ones are too expensive. He opened up his business for me at the last minute to accommodate me and even loaded the fully assembled table in my truck. David is a great guy! I bought a Kettler Outdoor 10 and I’m very happy that I went to Luckyheap. I got an incredible deal and he was very nice to talk to and work with. Purchased a very nice table from David Heap today. He is a pleasure to work with and very knowledgable. His range of tables run from outdoor models to pro tournament level tables. I purchase an indoor table for our office in Irvine. After a quick game I am very impressed with the heft and solidity of this table. It is built like a tank and I expect it to last.

HANDS DOWN, THE BEST TABLE AND PLACE TO BUY…
I did a ton of research on Ping Pong/​Table Tennis tables, I read every review, went to all the local stores spent hours online only to discover what I wanted was a table that cost between $ 1200 and $ 2000… And if you know me, you know that’s just not going to happen…
The number one thing I learned from all the reviews was regardless of which table or where the table was purchased, was it is very difficult, time consuming and a general pain in the butt to put it together once you got it home… and the end results were often disappointing…
Then I found David Heap’s site on the internet as well a couple of listings on E-​Bay, I also read the online reviews for David and since he was fairly local, (Brea, Ca.) We decided to drive up and see for ourselves. His Company LuckyHeap sells a number of brands and if you want that $ 2000 table he has it. When I went there I was thinking a used table, but as we spoke about tables and table construction it became very clear that at any price the choice for me was the LuckyHeap Pro… we bought the table for less than we could have bought The Stiga Baja, any of the Joola’s, Butterfly, Kettler even on sale at Sports Authority, Big 5, Dick’s, …but that’s not the big story…
With all of the horror stories listed in the many online reviews (you really should read as many as you can) about the assembly of these tables I was concerned, but felt I was up to the task… Turns out it wasn’t a concern with this table from LuckyHeap… Truth is the instructions for this table are not that good, but as David suggested I took some photos before we left of an assembled table and as you will see below all went well… (David even sent me a couple of additional photos when I had a question…)
The following is a simplification, (no step was left out) but 100% accurate description of my assembly…
I unwrapped everything, sorted parts and got a good feel for everything I had and where it went. I assembled the main frame and attached the casters (4 sturdy nuts & bolts) ~ Attached the table holder support to the end of the frame that will hold the table halves in place (2 heavy duty screws each side) ~ My wife and I set the first table half into the holder ~ attached the four support brackets and the first side was done. We did the same for the other side and that was it… Total time, less than 2 hours working at a very relaxed pace (66 yrs. old and sipping a rum drink, just one it was a Thursday)
Again, read the reviews for every table and what I didn’t need to list here was the endless number of screws you need to screw into the table just to attach the table top to the frame, no stripped out screws, no particle board mishaps no brackets that ripped out, none of that stuff … and the reason for that is… David has the top attached at the manufacturer, this is his table and that is the way he wanted it…
Did I say how solid this table is? It is…
Did I remember to say there are no «bounce» issues with this table… no dead spots
You will enjoy working with David Heap, …truly a good guy…
This is the only table I have every put together, so I am not an expert, but after reading all of the reviews I have to believe this was the absolute best choice for me… Oh, but if this was too much work to put it together, just ask David about assembly… Having it assembled might be the best deal around when you factor what your time is worth per hour? Then you just take it home, put on the net and use it!
David is the a great guy to work with and is willing to do whatever it takes to service his customers, just read the other reviews about him then re read all the «sporting goods store» table assembly horror stories…
I ended up paying right around $ 500 including everything I needed to get started, table, paddles, balls, net and cover… The Stiga Baja, for example, best price with coupon at Big 5 was $ 450 and a complete pain to put together… Price shop the total package, this quality table and the total package cannot be beat!!! remember, 4 paddles and a cover will run you over $ 100 most everywhere…
Sorry for the length of the review, but when you find a truly good guy who knows what he is talking about with a great product you want people to know… Go see for yourself, you decide…

I bought two tables from David this past weekend and could not be happier with the product and the service he provided. David is a terrific guy who went so far as to hook me up with multiple brand new tie down straps so I could haul two fully assembled tables home in my truck. The tables are really great and are already getting tons of use at home and in the office. Thanks David!

I bought a Lucky Heap outdoor table from David. Great design, well built, great value. I put it together with the help of my daughter. The directions weren’t much, but I took David’s advice and took some pics of one that was already assembled. It went together in less than an hour. Easy peasy. Love it. Thanks again David.

Bought a table for church use more than a year ago and came back for another one. Both times the owner David heap, was very chill and knowledgeable and gave a super discount because I was a returning customer! Helped loaded the table on the car, got a free net too. he got tons of different brand stiga, joola, etc. Got a German made joola –superb deal. He talks a lot but that’s his friendly nature. Funny guy highly recommended!

David Heap is a good dude! I’ve bought two tables from him now and he has been a great dealer. My first purchase was his own manufactured table called the Luckyheap Family Time; that was 2 years ago. I was skeptical at first because the price was so low and the brand is unheard of, but when I came into his warehouse to check it out, it was great! Aesthetics was not bad at all, and the construction was intact and solid.
The second table I’ve bought from him is a higher end Joola 2000s. It’s a table that he boasts about a LOT and I can see why. I bought it from Mr. Heap for a great price. Of course it wasn’t in pristine condition, but for the price I paid for I have no right to complain. The table was in great condition, definitely still usable and looks great.
The Luckyheap name is slowly expanding, but it’s a name that I’ll trust for quality ping pong tables. Whether your purchase is of a brand new Luckyheap, Stiga, Joola, or whatever brand, you can trust David Heap to sell provide you a great table for a great price. He kindly asked for a long honest Unilocal review and he deserves one. He definitely had a loyal customer here.
