National Screen Print & Embroidery

I used NSPE to embroider our company shirts that we use for trade shows. They did a great job and even delivered the shirts back to us (we are on the same block).
I met Dennis who is the owner and was very helpful and pleasant.
I would recommend them and will use them again.

We use National for all of our company’s embroidery. They have always done great work. Please don’t let the negative Damien comments scare you away from this place, I just learned he is no longer with the company. I would highly recommend National, I have never been disappointed with the quality of work.

Every time I come in they have always been friendly and helpful. Damien is really helpful but he is brief and straight to the point. Once he warms up to you he can be very talkative. If its your first time going, don’t be intimidated, he can get you in and out very quickly, especially if you know what you want and are rushing I definitely love their quality.

I’ve come to this embroidery place a few times over the years. Every time I am here (whether to get a set done or just waiting for a friend to pick up their sets), I am reminded again and again why I don’t come here for sets anymore. Just like what some of the other reviewers have mentioned, Damian never seem to care for anyone unless you are part of his fraternity or an organization he deems worthy of his attention.
The first time I was here was about 3 years ago. I came to make a family set and get some t-​shirts done. Damian was civil then because my friend was what you would consider «a regular». As a result, she got a discount while he just took my order and bragged on and on about his fraternity. I didn’t mind about not receiving a discount, but what I DID mind was how everything cost way more than what you’d find elsewhere (and I’ve been to quite a few embroidery places over the years). As a result, ever since then, I never get my sets done there. I’ve only been going in with my friends while they pick up their sets.
The second time I was there was with my little. She wanted to get some sets done for my grand. Since she’s never done this before, she asked me to go along and give her advice. As a result, I was giving her suggestions on what to purchase, what colors to use and whatnot. Afterwards, Damian said, «Ok. Now that SHE’s done giving you all her inputs, what do YOU actually want for yourself?» –I don’t think I’ve ever felt more offended, especially when he doesn’t even know that I was asked to help.
Fast forward to recently– I went in with my friend and saw a familiar set sitting on the table. I got really excited and said, «Hey! I recognize that set!» Instead of saying anything or even a sign of acknowledgement, Damian just gave me a blank look. He then went on to talk to my friend and gave him the sets that he came to pick up.
Honestly, if you are looking for PRICEY sets done and RUDE customer services, this is the place to go. If you want to go to a cheaper place while you can leave with a smile on your face, do yourself a favor and go elsewhere please!

If I could give no stars I would. I have never been to a place with such horrible customer service. Damian is the rudest person that I have ever met and just for that reason alone I won’t be coming here ever again. Even though my sweatshirts turned out great and fairly reasonable, the terrible customer service was enough to throw me off the edge. TERRIBLE!

I went recently with my sister to get stuff done for her formals. I’m not sure what happened, but the service was complete crap. The gentleman there I believe his name is Daren? Sat there and didn’t even acknowledge us. Didn’t say give me a minute or anything. We went through the ordering process and he was asking my sister about her sorority since she isn’t nearby. (She attends UCI) he kept suggesting things that my sister didn’t want.
While he was interacting with my sister he was talking about other orgs, that we are both close too and BAD MOUTHING OTHER ORGS TO US. Highly unprofessional. I’m not sure how this place makes any money.
I’m sure my sister didn’t catch it, but I did. He rolled his eyes a lot while we were there. If you truly don’t want to work there, then don’t! There’s plenty of people who wouldn’t mind having your job.
When my sister went to go and pick up the order (she had to call him to find out if the order was ready or not first) he didn’t acknowledge her at all. Instead he threw her products at her and that was it.
If you want some good service, I wouldn’t go here.

I came into National with a rough idea of what I wanted for some custom sweatshirts for the opening cast of a new show at Disneyland. Damian was super helpful and walked me through fonts, placement, and cost of EVERYTHING! All of us are more than happy with the final product! We love our CUSTOM hoodies! I definitely recommend them for any embroidery and screen printing!

The team at National Screen has provided me with exceptional service on several occasions. Each year or so several family members get together for a vacation. National has helped each one be more memorable. I come to them for custom shirts, unique to the vacation, for all the family members. I’ve had a wonderful relationship with their professional staff. Our family group looks forward to putting on our newest shirts during our Caribbean Cruise soon.

I use this company for sorority embroidered hoodies and rhinestone tees. I think they do a great job. The stitching is perfect and the colors great. Damian told me they can provide American Apparel at lower prices than the Costa Mesa retail store. I want to pass this information along to others because he saved me $ 10 on each hoodie I had done. That is a great saving on a college budget. Damian thanks for the suggestion. You saved me time and money. Much appreciated.

Honestly, from the minute I started dealing with Damian, he was pretty rude. I realize this is pretty much a personality trait of most graphic designers. But I’m paying you for a service and I expect you to be pleasant. Even after I called him out on his tone in an email, he apologized but was still curt with me. He quoted me a time for my shirts and they weren’t done on time. I am very pleased with the way our shirts turned out but it’s not worth the sacrifice of customer service. I won’t be doing business here again. They’re expensive and the product was great. Just what I wanted, but I dreaded having to email or encounter Damian because he was unpleasant.
So, if you don’t mind rude people and want great quality product: this place is for you.
If you care more about customer service, then I would search elsewhere. They’re kind of expensive but the quality of the tshirt and print were excellent. It was just the customer service that was lacking.

Very helpful!!! I cam in with a rush order, only giving them 3 days to get the job done. The owner took time to go over options with me and even discussed some other work I needed to have done. Their prices are fair and work was flawless. After using several embroidery companies I’m glad I finally found someone who cared about their work.

I had a sweater made and it came out AMAZING. I chose a hot pink sweater with metallic gold tackle twill and embroidery. It was done in less than two weeks. Damian went over all of the things I wanted and explained everything, which was very helpful. I’m sure I was a pain in the butt for him because I didn’t come in when I said I would and I kept changing my mind and adding and taking away things… sorry. I create costumes and accessories, and I’m a detail-​oriented girl so I just wanted my sweater to turn out PERFECT and exactly how I imagined it. In the end I finally made up my mind and it end up costing $ 55.48. Know what you want before you come in and make sure you bring cash or a check, as they charge extra for using a credit card. We used this shop to have embroidered sweatshirts made for our entire wedding party. What a great choice! They did a wonderful job at reworking the art brought in for a very reasonable set up fee. We dropped off the sweatshirts on Friday night and they were done on Tuesday. One more thing for this busy bride to knock off her list! The sweatshirts were a big hit with all of our family and friends!
