I had a 60 minute massage and a 30 minute facial at the Meridian. My therapist stated she was congested and appeared to be ill during my session. When I asked her what products she was using for the facial she did not know the name brand. Later, while shopping at Bed Bath and Beyond I saw the same product line in the aisle. I would expect a spa to use spa quality products. Also, when I told her about areas of concern she didn’t seem to give those areas extra attention during massage. She just went with the full body routine. Massage Envy provides a better experience and that’s not saying much at all. To top things off, I ended up with a cold after my vacation. Not pointing any fingers, but when you are working so closely with clients it would be wise to stay home if you are sick.

My boyfriend and I are big spa junkies, but we have high standards. Meridian spa met them all. Being that the location is in Breckenridge, CO, it meets that rustic vibe you would expect, with the luxuries of a full service spa including locker room, showers, and use of the Lodge’s hot tubs. The quality of the massages were top notch. Both masseurs took their time and really worked out every knot and kink they could find, while making us feel completely relaxed. The staff was professional, friendly, and very helpful with where to go afterward for a good time in Breck. I also like that the entire place is a dog-​friendly establishment. If you’re ever in the area, you must come here for an afternoon of R&R.

Erica is an excellent masseuse and her place is very quaint. My wife and I have both received multiple massages there when we are in Breck and get a chance to relax. I highly recommend to anyone wanting to make those sore muscles feel better after a day of skiing or hiking or just to drift off into bliss on a relaxing mountain trip!
