History

Established in 1998.

The Corral Breckenridge Condos are located on the South side of Breckenridge, and the mountain side of Main Street. Our three buildings were completed in 2002 and major renovations to the condominium complex were recently undertaken, allowing the Corral’s rental properties to proudly reopen in November 2009. We showcase friendly Western décor throughout the buildings and offer great Breckenridge vacation deals. Come discover what makes these condominiums special!

The Corral is self managed, which means we care about every detail and thoughtful touch. We are waiting for you in the lobby – yes, the very people you speak with on the phone. Your visit is important to us because we want you to enjoy our 150 year old historic mining town as much as we do!

We arrived around 7pm, after being in stop and go traffic from DIA to Breck for nearly 5 hours, and followed the contact instructions in the lobby and waited and waited and waited and waited for a phone call back from the manager, Rob. Nearly 1.5 hours passed before he called to give us the code to the lockbox to retrieve our room key. Unacceptable. He apologized a lot, but, frankly, it fell short. The room was a good size and the appliances were in working order. Hot water in the showers ran out in a few days and the décor is a bit dated, but overall ok. Location is convenient and our unit offered excellent views. Fix the water heater and be more attentive to late arrivals and you have a 3.5 star here.

This place was very convenient, and worked well for us during our trip even though both bedroom windows faced the road and pathway for other guests to reach their rooms. It was loud and privacy was an issue. Also, we have stayed at many condos like this, and this was the first time he kitchen had no oil, spices, or any necessary cooking basics.
I never would have been bothered by the above if it weren’t for the fact that a week before our arrival we confirmed via email that checkout was at 11, but late check out would be an option for $ 100, as our flight was a redeye. Come the final day of our trip: late checkout is no longer an option, we’re being kicked out of our unit AT 10, and there’s no other unit to transfer us to. The kicker was that they were rude about it!
We now have to spend the final day of our trip, my husband’s birthday, like vagabonds half packed all over town. Unable to shower and change with ease after skiing and forced to pack our equipment in their gross lobby.
I’ve been visiting ski towns on redeye flights for years and I’ve never had an experience like this. Breckinridge is awesome. When you come, stay somewhere else.

The Corral was the best place I’ve ever stayed and it made my vacation perfect. This was a little home with all the conveniences, beautifully laid out, with comfortable furniture, fully equipped kitchen, and aesthetically blended in with the mountain setting. It’s location is excellent for walking to restaurants and exploring the delightful town. There’s nothing that wasn’t just right.

stayed here with a group of friends for our ski trip in the area.
the condo mgmt service was good. they were very courteous.
the condo we had was ok for the price we paid… a bit cramped for 8 of us even though it sleeps 9 people (3 bdrm + a den, enough beds + pullouts for 9 ppl). There aren’t even enough seating at the dining table for 9 people.
i was expecting a bit better kitchen… the «GE» appliances they were boasting on the website were very old, the dishwasher couldn’t even completely clean the dishes on the upper rack.
Not all the bldgs have the public hot tub. If you are on the west bldg, you have to walk to the east bldg to use the bldg amenities.
the location was ok, but it’s not really within walking distance to the slopes like our booking agent told us.
the garage was really weirdly designed. So each unit has an assigned garage spot. but since it’s a condo building, i was expecting a common entrance to the garage area, instead of individually separated garage space. So it was really hard to find the actual garage assigned to our unit when we arrived in the evening.
