Advantage Nissan

I live in Seattle, so coming across on a ferry to buy a car seems illogical, but boy was it worth it! I was so tired of visiting dealerships and having the stereotypical car salesman try to talk me into buying what they have versus listening to what I actually wanted. The customer experience here was nothing short of amazing! This all starts with Chuck, the manager, and flows down through everyone on his team. I didn’t have just one salesperson — the whole staff really got to know me and were genuinely interested not just in coming through on the car I wanted (which I had to special order), but in making sure that the whole experience was enjoyable and that I really got everything I needed to enjoy the car for years to come. This includes calls on people’s cell phones for «support» from multiple people both during the buying process and after I already picked up my new car. It seems astounding to me that they would genuinely offer up such customer service, but it’s actually par for the course with them, and really underscores just how great the team is and how much they care about building long-​term relationships with their customers and their community.
I can honestly say that as long as I live within the state I cannot imagine buying a Nissan anywhere else.

Advantage Nissan is a great place to deal with, I have always (including this weeks purchase, a 2016 Maxima), been treated VERY fairly and treated with respect. They have now sold me several cars and I will be back the next time we want to replace a vehicle.

They definitely gave us the run runaround on this one. My wife went in last Thursday to look at a 2001 Jeep Grand Cherokee. It has about 64,000 miles on it, and was listed as ready to go, which was good, because we were hoping to take it to my uncle’s house in the mountains last weekend.
First things first, the picture of the Jeep in the online listing was not the actual vehicle, but a stock photo. That wouldn’t have been a problem at all, except for the fact that there was a bronze duck hood ornament that the previous owner had bolted to the hood of the car. I would have liked to have known about that beforehand, because now it looked like they were trying to hide that. Additionally, the Jeep hadn’t been detailed, or cleaned at all since it arrived at the dealership.
So, we take the car for a test drive quickly (my wife had to get to work), and everything seemed to have gone well. It drove well, and overall, y wife and I liked it. When we got back to the dealership, our salesman told us about the service that still needed to be done on it, specifically that it still needed an oil change, a speaker to be replaced, and to be detailed. We were told that it would be ready at 4pm, and my wife was getting off at 5, so that’s when we said we’d be back.
My wife got off early, so we decided to go back a little early. We knew that the car would still be in service, but we were told at that point that they were had just finished up the power steering repair and were working on the speaker. When I asked what he was talking about, our salesmen looked at me like I was dumb and said, «It’s what I told you about this morning.» He had made no mention of power steering.
Anyway, we continued to talk about pricing, and while it was a pretty good price, (listed at $ 8999) it was still more that my wife and I wanted to spend. Not to mention, it was around $ 3500 more than NADA and KBB suggest as a fair price, and around $ 2000 more than what a dealer in Tacoma listed a similar Jeep for. When I brought this up, our salesman excused himself to talk to his manager (whom I later found out was a family member of his) and came back saying that there was no way that I found a comparable vehicle for less within a 200 mile radius because they have a program that searches for price comparison. When I brought the listing up on my phone and showed it to him, he said that it was impossible, but that he would bring that up with the manager.
He came back about five minutes later and said that the price could only come down about $ 500, and that the power steering leak actually not done and was worse than they thought, and it would be about another three hours. We said, Okay, we’ll go to dinner and be back when it’s all finished. An hour later, he called to say that it wasn’t going to be finished until *maybe* the following Monday.
Monday came and went, with no phone call, but today (Wednesday) I got an email saying that the Jeep «should be done by tomorrow morning.» Suffice it to say, my wife and I ended up going elsewhere.
So, the long of the short of it is: be wary of the salesmen trying to pull a fast one at every turn.

Damn! This place blew all the others WAY out of the water. They got me an incredible interest rate with Kitsap Credit Union. I was scared to drive all the way over there thinking they were going to hand me a bunch of changed stuff and get the usual car salesman bullcrap, but instead I drove away in a 2004 350Z convertible! Everyone was pretty cool and understood I was just there to sign the papers and get outa’ there. I am still impressed how smoothly everything went and how low they were able to get me approved at.

I leased my first car with Advantage Nissan 2 years ago when I got my 2013 Nissan Sentra. They have great service both on the phone as well as in person, which I feel is rare nowadays. I worked with Shon (Pineapple), who made my first car purchasing experience a breeze, something I never thought was going to happen.
I even referred my parents to Advantage Nissan, again we worked with Shon, who them helped get a 2014 Nissan Rogue. I can’t reccomend them enough! Everyone at the dealership is a pleasure to work with and there is never any pressure. You will never be disappointed with Advantage Nissan!

Get the feeling they really don’t like this new program for points towards discounts. Always seem to get the cold shoulder when I tell them I want to use my «points» for discounts on service. Just a weird vibe, but hey if your going to offer points when you spend $$ to use later for discounts, don’t act as if its a PIA when a customer uses them at check out. Otherwise, just don’t offer it all, that solves it!

I recently purchased a new Leaf from Advantage Nissan. I had a great sales person, Shon (Pineapple) who was funny, friendly, and very knowledgeable about the car. I loved that there was no pressure. It was probably the easiest car purchase I have experienced. I also have great feelings about my new car! It’s so fun and zippy, totally happy!

My experience with Advantage started online when I sent an email to Advantage from the Auto Trader website. My email was answered in a timely fashion. I corresponded back and forth with the online sales agent (Josh Beckner) and told him what i was looking to pay and he got me a quote for the 2012 Quest that was right in the ballpark. After having no success locally in Seattle with way overpriced dealers and beat up cars. I decided to take the long trip to Bremerton.
I was attended to by their sales person (Barry). He was friendly, knowledgeable and easy to talk to. The car was good as advertised. Certified pre-​owned and looked and drove great.
I can’t tell you what a relief it was to see an add on Auto Trader and then go and see that the car was as good as advertised. The other dealerships we went to did not live up to this standard with their cars.
The deal quoted me online was very close to the actual sale terms, based on my credit score (723) I got into the van that has 55k miles for 358/​month 60 months! No down payment and they bought my trade in for a good price as well.
The facilities were customer friendly with a nice room for my 2yr boy to let out his ADD so I could take care of business.
Lastly the finance guy was super friendly and educated me on the benefits of adding onto the already 100,000 mile power train warranty of which I added because with 55k miles the extra coverage things that probably will end up needing attention soon. This coverage was very affordable.
I could not have been more pleased with this whole overall experience. I am for sure coming back for my next purchase :)

Had no idea this place existed, I was certain I had to drive to Tacoma or further to get a decent price on a new Nissan, so I sent out an email inquiry to the Nissan company, they called me, found me the closest dealership, which happened to be 15 minutes from home. They connected me to a guy named Barry Albee. He was awesome. Generally a used car guy, but he happened to take the call that day. I showed up to the dealership an hour after to speaking with him on the phone, he showed me exactly what we had talked about, talked to his trade in guy, they gave me above Kelly Blue Book for my car, sold me a brand new 2015 Versa for under 20k. Which a new car anywhere else in Kitsap county under 20k is impossible. They got me in and out within 3 hours. My last car buying experience from another dealer was 7 hours long, and I wasn’t happy with their service. Advantage Nissan took care of me, they have great financing packages, extra service perks if you buy new. All of the cars on the lot NEW or USED come with a warranty. I was so excited to have my first brand new car! And I am totally happy with the whole process, which has never been the case anywhere else. Go see Barry, tell him you saw this, and tell your friends. They want you to have a nice car!

I recently did some business with a guy named Chuck at Advantage Nissan. Chuck was a real straight shooter and I have had a few bad experiences over they years with car guys so since this was a good positive experience, I wanted to give credit where credit was due.
So I am looking for this hard to find part and no local dealers had it in stock. Ebay… Nothing. Craiglist… Good luck. I went to the internet and typed in the part number and found out that Advantage Nissan had it and not only was it in stock but it was for a very good price… Wow. This had to be to good to be true.
I called them up and this dude chuck answered. He was a nice enough guy and knew a lot. We talked about the part and I had a few questions about it because I wanted to make sure that it did in fact fit my car. It did and he shot me a decent price for the part and shipping was reasonable.
The part arrived a few days later and it came with a little note which was a nice personal touch. This was a total win for me. I got what I was looking for at a fair price and in a timely manner.
I got three words for ya. GO SEE CHUCK!

Excellent customer service both in the car buying process (Trent was our salesman) and in regular maintenance visits. Good coffee, free WiFi and friendly folks. I’ve left satisfied every visit.
I’ve also been quite impressed with the quality of the brand. I love my car, 2012 Versa, on all levels. That little car has quite a bit of room. It has come in handy as we move into our new home. My husband’s Scion is a little bigger, but does not work nearly as well for hauling our stuff to the new place. Also, when the seats aren’t down, my Versa has significant leg room in front and back. Great design!
Conclusion: I’m a happy customer and will continue to recommend Advantage Nissan to friends and family.

My best car buying experience. Adam was knowledgable and friendly, never pushy. I never felt pressured but I was interested in the maintenance agreement anyway. I researched prior and felt that I wasn’t being low balled on trade in value. The only reason I didn’t give it five stars is because the selection was low at the time.

My partner Barbara and I contacted Chuck Capps on the recommendation of the SeaTac Quik Stop service manager, Kevin Bennett. Chuck replied to my reaching out email the same day; I liked him instantly when we finally spoke on the phone. We wanted a black Mercury Grand Marquis with very specific «stuff» on it and Chuck and his brother worked tirelessly to make that happen. The process started on April 4; Barbara and I were there on April 28 to pick up our beautiful Black Beauty. What a blast that was… best car buying experience EVER! The car is everything we wanted and more, actually. We both actually got tears in our eyes.
We’ve bought cars from dealers before, but never had so much fun as this. The staff was AWESOME, Chuck was everything we thought he’d be, his brother was da bomb, Shane in financing was terrific, and Tom was so patient and helpful as we went through the process. Most of all, the experience was honest, open and they wanted to please, unlike many used car dealers we have had the displeasure of dealing with.
Thanks SO much, again, everyone at Advantage Nissan for this beautiful car, the fun video they put up on YouTube and the outstanding service and work everyone did. We felt special the instant we stepped in the door. Chuck Capps and his crew are our forever go-​to guys for any future vehicle needs. It’s worth the drive to Bremerton!
