Kitsap County Fairgrounds & Events Center

I drove up to Bremerton with my motorhome from the Bay Area for a show and met up with my buddies. We all met up here at Kitsap and «Motorhomed» it. I had the smallest rig, but had all the amenities of home. My buddies had those ginormous 44 footer diesel pusher. I get better gas mileage! Most of them, just happened to be retired!
We all parked towards the barnyard (horse corrals) where we all had full hookups (water, sewage and electricity). Man, it was awesome. Tailgate party all over again. I sure missed my buddies!
Kitsap has tons of different buildings. They all were very nice especially during the shows. I used the «outeee» house since I found out they had private showers. It was «freakin» huge and so clean. I was very surprise. One of the few fairgrounds I have stayed at with my motorhome that’s worth writing about.
If you are traveling cross country with your motorhome and you happened to be in Washington, come to Bremerton Kitsap County Fairgrounds. The staff are wonderful, the grounds are clean, they have full hookups for your rig, and best of all, if you want to take that long hot shower with full pressure, this is the place.

I have been to a few events here now. It is not very easy to find the first time or two.=) It was not in my GPS. It is decent for small job fairs, military appreciatian events, etc. Not sure what is like for the actual fair. Have not gone yet. I might try it out this year. Parking can be a little hectic for a busy event. You might want to get there a little early.

I’ve been here for the fair, job fairs, graduations and softball games. The facilities are fantastic, but I have to knock it down a notch for the highway robbery rates they charge for fair rides.

Well, I hate to dole out a negative review after a super fun event (Wild West Roller Derby Tournament, oh hello), but the Pavillion at Kitsap County Fairgrounds was in dire need of some upkeep. Now, I wasn’t expecting the world or anything, just an event space with very the very basic amenities… bleachers, concessions, restrooms. All three of those things were present, but pretty crummy. The bathrooms were an absolute disaster. Concessions were pretty popular, though… they claim to have some famous $ 2 hamburger that I can confirm about 80% of the crowd were scarfing down as if their lives depended on it. I, however, was skeptical about the food I saw coming out of the «kitchen». So… in summary, it’s a big building where lots of people can gather. Outside of that, it’s not much. Sorry, Kitsap.

A nice little fair ground that has all of the necessary components. There are multiple buildings ranging from a nice indoor sports — entertainment facility to barns and arenas. There is ample parking and a soccer — sports field across the street and a nice baseball field that I think hosts the local semi pro team.
There are plenty of places to eat nearby and some even on site.
