Lou participated in 4-H, training her own horses and participated in Horse Shows and County, Regional and State Fairs. An active participant in Junior Rodeo’s, Lou competed and was chosen to become a Princess on the 1965 Little Britches Rodeo Royalty Court. As a representative of the Junior Rodeo, the Royalty Court traveled throughout Washington State participating in several Rodeos including the Omak Stampede and the exciting Rodeo at Roy, WA.

Meet the Business Owner
Lou F.
Business Owner
Lou is the daughter of Jay & Wilma Boblet, early pioneers of horsemanship here on the Olympic Peninsula. Jay & Wilma built one of the first covered arenas and opened one of the first Horse Boarding businesses in Kitsap County.
Lou grew up learning the ropes from her parents, showing in 4-H, traveling the NW Rodeo Circuit and excelling in Class-A shows.
Next, Lou wanted to be a «horse breeder» and subsequently bred over 75 foals. After successfully competing on the Class-A Show circuit, Lou decided to race her horses. She ran them at race tracks in California, Oregon and Washington. Several of Lou’s horses were successful Stakes winners and 11 were sold and exported over seas to owners in England, France, Denmark, the U.A.E.
Today, Lou enjoys trail riding and the friendship of the many people who have their horses boarded at L & R RANCH.
