My boyfriend and I came here because his friends’ recommended the place. Sad to say, but we will definitely not return. The service was awkward and the staff made us feel a little unwelcome. The food was the biggest disappointment of all. I ordered pancit and my boyfriend ordered lechon kawali. My pancit was extremely oily and had a scarce amount of shrimp. It was mostly just noodles and the taste was unlike any pancit I have ever tried. My boyfriend’s lechon kawali was virtually inedible because it was greasy and there was most hard inedible pieces. This was his favorite dish as a child. Needless to say, we were unimpressed. I really hope that this restaurant improves because I would love to have a nearby Filipino restaurant that has great food and service.

I can’t get enough of this place. This is my «go-to» place for Filipino did when family is in town. Did is just like my grandma’s and Ninang’s food. Everything is fresh… And service is always personable.

So you know that part in the movie Ratatouille where the snooty food critic has a euphoric experience that triggered pleasant memories of his childhood? I had that after taking a bite of Lin’s Kare-Kare. It tasted just like how my grandma and aunties make it in the Philippines! T^T The portions weren’t bad either! Two scoops of rice and a big bowl of the stuff! I had to order extra rice though, but I think that’s only because I’m a fatty. And I haven’t had Kare-Kare in a long while. I was actually craving dim sum that day, but since there aren’t any good dim sum places around kitsap, and it was too rainy to drive too far, my bf and I just decided to try this place out, and boy was it one of the best discoveries we’ve made lately. Haha. He ordered the pancit special with lumpia on the side. Mm. The pancit was flavorful with just the right firmness and the lumpia was delightfully crunchy. This is my type of comfort food. The quality and authenticity of the food’s taste made us forget about the longer-than-average-wait and the fact that the nice Filipino lady who served us calls Kare-Kare(kareh-kareh) Care-care/kerr-kerr. And says pancit like peynsut lol I’m coming back for more for sure. :)

Came here out of the blue with my family because I was craving seafood. I’ve never really had«fish & chips.» I ordered a plate of fish and chips with 2 pieces of fish and 3 pieces of shrimp and with a side of fries. The fish and shrimp were delicious and fresh. The batter coating them was very delicious. On top of that, I’ve always hated tartar sauce, but their homemade one was super good. Only reason the review has gone down 2 stars is because the fries were frozen. To me that’s a big no-no and a foodie turn-off. I would most likely go back. :)

Food was decent pansit was amazing and the chicken adobo was good could’ve been better if it was in chunks instead of 2 big pieces. Took the kitchen awhile to make our food and we were the only ones in the restaurant. I don’t think I’ll be going back but was good since I was at the fairgrounds.

Lin’s Fish & Chips is a Filipino eatery that serves a few other dishes as well. When I stopped in I had the dinuguan, a pork blood stew flavored with hot peppers and vinegar. I personally love my dinuguan more sour than most and this one hit the ticket. It was vinegary and filling. They give good size portions with their food and the taste is very authentic. The waitress was also helpful and kind. I knocked it down one star because they are a bit slow. They had 2 – 3 take out orders which took quite a while to get both my food and theirs. Regardless, the food is good and the wait staff is attentive.

I’m addicted to the gyoza! I get an order every time I come here, they are seriously the best I’ve ever had! The chicken teriyaki bowl is delicious as well, perfectly seasoned. All of the staff is very friendly and attentive. I definitely recommend this place.

We were seated but after being ignored for 25 minutes we just left. They never brought us drinks, silver wear, nothing. Never coming here again.

Just moved in a block away from here and this is probably gonna be my go to place to eat from now on(though I haven’t tried golden mum yet). Tried pancit for the first time and it was delicious. My girlfriend got the teriyaki chicken which was also great. The wait is a little bit longer than some places but everything is fresh so it’s worth it. Only disappointment was they only had pork lumpia. Other than that everything was amazing and the lady that served us was really friendly. Great food, great service. I’ll be back, probably on a weekly basis

Great food with very reasonable prices. I love their pancit bihon and their lumpia is very tasty with nice fillings and not too much wrapper.

My lil family have been eating here since 2010 and since then I have not found a better place to eat Filipino food. Our favorite is the Letchon Kawali! I highly recommend it and try the Kare-kare here as well. The service is great and they always make sure you feel welcome.

We came here for the Filipino food. The hubz got dinuguan, I got pork sinigang and the kiddos got chicken adobo. We also had their lumpia. Dinuguan — Meh. It’s not what I’m used to. I like mine vinegarry and this was just bland/tasteless. The hubz had to salten it up and even put more table vinegar in it. Not the best tasting dinugs I’ve had. Pork sinigang — SOOOOGOOD! It had all the vegetable, enough meat, and lots of broth. It was perefect! I will definitely go back for the sinigang hands down! Chicken adobo — Thumbs down. It was different. Nothing the kids are used to. It had more of a red color than brown and it was just not adobo tasting to us. It was weird. The kids did not like it at all, so I opted to share my dish. Lumpia — I loved the lumpia. It was crispy and full of flavor! All in all I would come back for the Sinigang and lumpia. And maybe to try some more things. Maybe. I know I’ll def not get the dinugs and adobes thats for sure!

Nothings better than a family run filipino teriyaki joint. You know it’s authentic. Filipino culture is all about pleasing those around them. Which is exactly what they do at Lins. They always have my food ready a Lot sooner than I expect! BBQ pork, cod fish and chips, and the lechon are my favorites there.
