The building doesn’t do this food justice. Very casual, a bit beat up, some of the seats were torn and taped with duct tape. I didn’t have high hopes for the food upon arriving. Please don’t let this detour you from eating here! The food was excellent. The carnitas was the best I’ve ever had… EVER! The beans were tasty good and I even ate the rice, and enjoyed it! Typically, I don’t order rice because I’m always disappointed. The rice had a good mellow flavor and was cooked to perfection. The prices were extremely reasonable and in correlation with the surrounding area. I would’ve gladly paid double for the food, it was that good. Our waitress was great.(I think she may have been the owner.) I would gladly return! If you want to experience great authentic tasting Mexican food, you need to eat at Los Cabos Grill! BTW, if you like spice, don’t forget to ask for the hotter salsa… it’s amazing.

Standard Mexican food… Not bad… Not the best… If you are hungry you can’t go wrong.

Food is so much better then Azteca. So much more flavor! Seated quickly and food came fast as well.

This will be our new joint to frequent when we need Mexican food. We didn’t wait long at all to be seated, especially since we were in at 2PM on a Thursday. We didn’t have to wait for our food either! The salsa was so fresh, the beans were yummy. We both got beer, and of course they had Mexican beers! We both got quesadillas, and they’re so cheesy and good. Their rice is good too. We finished the meal with churros, which were of course exactly how they’re supposed to be. I love the food, and the relaxed atmosphere. Like I said, we will be going back!

I love Mexican food and this place has all the classics that I love. Especially LOVE the QUART Margarita!!! Only suggestion would be to get a HUGE bowl on wheels, decorated Mexican, and do a guacamole made at the table thing. I especially loved that feature at a NH Mexican restaurant I frequented. Free advice right there!!!

Now let me start by saying me and my girlfriend love coming here and are regulars here, food is great and fairly cheap. My only complaint is that tonight we were seated served chips, salsa and beans, but never got our drink order taken. We knew what we wanted so we set our menus at the end of the table hoping to have our orders taken. The server walked back and forth past our table about 5 times glancing over every time(still no drinks btw, not even water) On the 6th pass I had to actually stop the server and tell her we were ready to order, unfortunately this happens more often then not here. Although I did only see 2 servers so I understand they were busy, but if your so understaffed that we can’t even get our water Then they need to hire some more help. That being said we really do LOVE this little joint and would still recommend it to all our friends!

Food is pretty good but restaurant itself is a little grungy. We didn’t love being sat right by the kitchen either.

This place was great, HUGE portions for cheap. The service was 5 stars and so was the food. The margaritas were good but a lil too sour. My only real complaint is that the salsa was watery and just full of onion.

I used to LOVE this place, but a few days ago they served me spoiled steak. Never had that happen to me at ANY restaurant before. Sad, because I will never be back here again. I loved their salsa.

We picked this place because it was close to the house. The reviews weren’t to bad I thought we should check it out and hopefully find a hidden gem near the house. We were greeted with a smile and shown to our seats. Once there we served chips and salsa but no drinks. Drinks didn’t arrive till we had placed our order 10 – 12 mins later. Even though we watched other customers come in after us and get served drinks right away. The salsa seemed like a water down version with some fresh cut onions on top. Once the food arrived… not impressed. They got my order wrong but because it took so long I didn’t even tell them. I just ate my meal. There was no Wow factor. The guacamole that was placed on my meal was straight out if a bag. The meat tasted like a prepackage chicken. All the same size as well. Another give away. All in all you could do a better job yourself

This has now become my regular Mexican food place. It may not look like much on the outside, but this restaurant is delicious. When you walk in, there is chips and salsa on the table before you even sit down. Fresh food, strong margaritas, and fast service. Everything you’re looking for in a Mexican restaurant.

Fresh, authentic mexican food. Finally decided to try this place after being disappointed by almost every other mexican restaurant in the area, and i was pleasantly surprised! The food was fresh, had a good flavor, and the service was excellent. I even found my tortillas on my enchilada and tostada tasted home made and freshly made. The horchata I ordered to go with my meal was also really good. Not overly sweet like a lot of places. The restaurant was really clean, and comfortable. I’d definitely come back.

The server was nice… When we walked in the place smelled of bbq meat and had smoke in the building not heavy but enough to see it. We sat down and they brought out the chips salsa and bean dip which was a nice free treat. The salsa was amazing! Unfortunately that was the only good part about our meal. We ordered a side of guacamole and it was awful tasted like cheap store bought crap. I had the beef asada burrito and my dad had 2 tacos on shredded beef and one chicken. The food came out within reasonable time and LOOKED great but did not taste great. My dad said the shredded beef taco was pretty good but the chicken taco was mushy… taco shells should not be mushy. My burrito was massive so I cut into it and was very disappointed… it was plated on top of what looked like salsa? It tasted like cheap store bought jar salsa and had a weird taste would have preferred the salsa that came with the chips but oh well. Inside the burrito there was very little meat and large quantities of rice and beans… so I just found the pieces of meat and ate those I didn’t want to be full on just rice and beans when I ordered a BEEF asada burrito. The price was pretty cheap but I would recommend not coming here for the food. I am from southern California so I have pretty reasonable expectations for tasty Mexican food and this place fell far below sub par.

We ate here Friday night and I’m giving Los Cabos in Bremerton 3 stars because I feel that’s what was earned. I’m not taking any stars away, the food wasn’t bad and the service wasn’t bad, it’s just a 3-Star kind of place. What I mean by that is that it’s just your standard, run of the mill, Mexican restaurant food. There’s no «wow» flavors, no «wow» presentation, nothing new and exciting and nothing prepared differently than any other run-of-the-mill Mexican restaurant. I’ve eaten here a number of times and it’s very consistent. The plates are always super duper hot(to melt the cheese on the already prepared items?), the food is always rather bland(have to scoop on the salsa, which is great), you get way more beans and rice than you could ever eat, you pay extra for sour cream and the service is always attentive. It’s definitely a go-to Mexican restaurant around here and I’ll always come back. Sometimes I just wish there was a Mexican restaurant that didn’t try to «Americanize» it so much, don’t you?!(Just got back from a Spring trip to Mexico, food is way different and oh so good!)

Don’t judge a book by its cover is the lesson to be learned from this visit. Excellent service, good food, and a quaint atmosphere. Highly recommended.

First dinner out since we relocated here to Kitsap county. We spent college noshing on Los Betos and El Charro in Tucson, so we do know and love both good and terrible Mexican food. First of all, they give you refried beans for FREE along with your salsa and chips. This rocks. We both ordered rocks flavored margaritas. The mango was a bit cloying, the peach was perfect; in both, you could pleasantly taste the tequila. I ordered Tres Amigos and was very happy, if a bit overwhelmed by the serving size. I took the majority home with me! My husband ordered the California burrito and enjoyed it but would like more meat next time. I might order it next time, as I confess to picking at the French fries and guacamole once he have up on finishing it. Service and ambiance were lovely. We’ll likely be back.

Well, we will start with how great the service is! They are prompt, courteous, and quick! They didn’t harass us but definitely made sure we had all that we wanted and needed. We ordered the fajitas for two with corn tortillas, which is a prawn, chicken, beef combo. Yum! We also asked for 2 tamales, which turned out to be bigger than expected and we only ate one — but not because it wasn’t tasty. The food was tasty, if a little more bland than hoped(it is a Family Mexican restaurant, after all), but it has earned the approval of my boyfriend and myself and we will be back! Might ask for some extra kick in our food next time :) Definitely worth a go!

We were seated right away and brought chips, salsa and cheesy refried beans. The salsa and beans were delicious!!! We ordered the seafood chimichanga, veggie burrito, bean and cheese burrito and the trio enchiladas plate. When our food was served our server let us know the plates were very hot and boy were they! The food must have been sitting under the heat lamps for awhile. The food was good but I was disappointed in the seafood chimichanga. The seafood consisted of shrimp, fish and real crab and seemed like it was put in a food processor with no seasoning… bland! A plus was our server. She was very sweet and right on top of our drinks.
