Royal Taxi

Three times now the driver has just not shown up. Making me late for work. No answer when I called back asking where they were. I recommend no one using this taxi service. Ever.

So far, very pleased with Royal Taxi. I called at 10:45 at night because a friend wanted to meet me for a few drinks a mile or so down the road from my house, and I didn’t want to drive (obviously — already late! No DUI for me!)
The person I spoke with was courteous and kind, he called me to let me know the cab was on it’s way, since it it was and I am meeting a friend.
Will update after cab provides service.

If I could put a zero I would! They suck. They were late and made us miss out ferry and overcharged! The driver even took the longer way around as if he was purposely trying to make us late because we were upset. I called 15 minutes before I needed them (11:45 for 12:00) and they picked up someone from my apt complex and didn’t even wait for us and left! Came back 10 mins later and made us late! I will NEVER use them again. HORRIBLE.

DO NOT USE THESE PEOPLE! I had to catch a 1:45 ferry to work and needed a ride to the ferry terminal. Called 2 hours in advance to set it up. Told them I have spotty cell service (in Belfair) and to PLEASE honk to let me know they have arrived… I wasn’t about to wait outside in 17 degree weather. So please honk. and they promised they would. They promised to be here around 12:45. so around 12:49 I peek outside and nothing. figured they might be just a few minutes late. .? then by 1pm I was starting to worry. .called them up and they said that the driver arrived and called my cell phone once and I didn’t answer so he turned around and left! (My cell phone never even rang.) AND HE NEVER HONKED ONCE… he must have left immediately because I checked at 1:49 and there was NO sign of anyone. So needless to say, by the time another taxi could come, I would have missed my ferry. next one didn’t come until 3 pm. so I was 2 hours late for work and nearly lost my job over it. I asked to speak to a supervisor and was told there wasn’t one. …so then I asked why the driver chose not to honk after specifically being asked to and their answer was” I don’t know.. but he isn’t gonna turn around and come back because he don’t wanna waste his gas”. a bunch of unreliable half wits with zero regard for thier customers. I will NEVER call them again. If I could give this zero stars I would.

We were stranded and almost missed our shuttle to the airport after these jerks stood us up last week. We had to run almost a mile and a half with two suitcases and an infant after calling two hours in advance to confirm our ride to the Kitsap Airporter pickup on Burwell. We were gross all day on our 5 hour flight to NYC. Thanks for that. AND on the ride back I was dismayed to find that when the Airporter shuttle called us a cab on the return trip they called these guys. They charged $ 12 for a less than 5 minute drive, and I had to give the driver directions because he didnt know where Naval Ave. was. Wish there was a less than zero star review I could give. YOU GUYS SUCK.

I was also left without a ride when I called in advance to arrange a cab to the ferry. When I called to check with them the dispatcher said she forgot to send someone but would get someone over right away. 2 phone calls and 15 minutes later she said she couldn’t find anybody. Well, I missed the ferry and ended up having to drive to the airport and pay for parking. I had seen positive reviews elsewhere but should have checked Unilocal — I won’t rely on this company again.

Customers can be demanding, petulant children at times (present company included). However, when we arrange for say something as mundane as a cab ride a day in advance, we do expect the other party might be interested enough in our fare and future business. Talking with the dispatcher the night before, I confirmed the time, place, and date. When said time arrived, they were nowhere to be found. Upon talking to the dispatcher the next day, he thought the previous dispatcher had meant that I wanted to call back the next morning. I’ll let the good people of Unilocal decipher the logic behind that. Needless to say, he could «maybe» guarantee a cab 2 hours later. If your personnel are that incompetent to not understand the logic behind simple English, perhaps they would be better suited for a career in the exciting field of salmon gutting. AVOID THIS COMPANY AT ALL COSTS!!!

DON’T RELY ON THIS COMPANY. These people just left me high and dry without a ride to the ferry which required me to drive on the boat and, thus, to the airport. I would have missed the ferry (and my flight) had I called another cab company.
Because of their ineptness, I now have to incur more than $ 300 in parking!
