History

Established in 1981.

Brenham Tire & Auto Center, Inc. was taken over in 1992 by Shannon and Dodie Mehr. Located at 605 South Blue Bell Road in Brenham, TX, we have been serving the Brenham, Bellville and Hempstead communities for over 30 years.

Our mission has always been to treat our customers with honesty and integrity as we would our families and to do things the right way. We understand the unique situations of our customers and that is why we have extended service hours and are open Monday through Friday from 7:30am to 5:30pm. Business Owner

We purchased the business from Richard & Carole Jarnig, Dodie’s parents. Richard asked us for a few years to purchase the business so he & Carole could retire. We thought about it a lot and realized it would be a great opportunity for us and the timing was good since our first son was just starting kindergarten. We moved here from Katy, Texas in 1992. In 1997 we had another son. He is now in the 8^th grade attending Brenham Christian Academy. Our oldest son lives in Texas. We have grown with the business and have seen many changes over the course of 19 years. We have attended many classes to keep up with the changes in business and products. We have state of the art equipment for tires, alignments and scan tools. We are equipped to take care of everything except body work, upholstery and major exhaust work where welding is required. We have always been supportive of our community. We have given to countless charities, churches, schools, fundraisers, and many more.
