After years of haircuts at the closest $ 12 walk in shop on the way to something else, a friend suggested I stop in at Carol G’s and see Lauren. (translation = your hair is bad and we know you can afford better). So I did. Best haircut I think I’ve ever had, and without having to wait a week so it doesn’t look so fresh. Lauren was gracious, made good small talk and understood my style (no gook, no funcky stuff, but still an update to a little more current cut). And Lauren did a great hairwash/​scalp massage that I’m not embarrassed to say makes it work going to a salon instead of a children’s haircut shop.
