History

Established in 2011.

City Center Pharmacy was established in 2008 with primary objective to serve communities that did not have any independent pharmacy. Service and care of the clients is the main goal.

The first City Center Pharmacy was established in Pittsburg, CA and it was received by the community with overwhelming support. Hence, the second City Center Pharmacy was established in Brentwood, CA where additional services were started, such as Specialty Compounding for dermatology, pain management and ob-​gyn clients. Also unit dose packaging for board and care homes was started to help surrounding communities.

Business Owner

Pharmacist since 1997. Worked for chain pharmacies for many years. Then started to work as on call pharmacist for independent pharmacies while looking to open my own pharmacy. Received special training from PCCA in Houston, TX for specialty compounding.

I almost never write reviews. But this little pharmacy does everything right! They treated me with respect, completed all three scripts in less than 15 min and were very friendly. No more taking scripts to the big guys. Independent from now on!!!

Best neighborhood pharmacy. You get personal service. Friendly staff. Knowledgeable Pharmacists. They take there time to explain everything to you about the proscription. My family an I have been using City Center Pharmacy for years now never had any issues. In fact many of my friends and family have also switched from the big box pharmacies to them and every single one is happy with the level of service they have received.

My doctor faxed in my prescription to City Center Pharmacy. A few days later I receive a phone call that my prescription is ready to be picked up. A week and a half later I get a call informing me that they made a mistake on my prescription. They filled a Rx from a doctor I haven’t used in over a year!’ This is unacceptable and very dangerous! After talking to the owner/​pharmist I clearly understand how this mistake could have happened. This man is clueless and acted as if I was no big deal. I’n the past when I’ve used them I was thinking this place takes so long to fill the Rx, sometimes over a week! Well I decided to try a compound pharmist in concord who filled my Rx in 20 minutes!’ Try Bacon East in concord! So professional and trustworthy!
