~~Dr. David Dobin has provided patient care for non– surgical and surgical endodontic services for well over 20 years. Endodontics, or «root canal therapy,» is recognized by the American Dental Association. Single tooth implants can also be placed if a tooth is not able to be saved. We use the most advanced technologies, all procedures utilize dental microscopes, which increase diagnostic capabilities and the precision of endodontic procedures. Digital radiography is used in place of conventional dental x-​rays, as well as Cone Beam CT scan technology to offer exceptional diagnostic quality. His experienced team provides premier services in a tranquil and pleasant setting. Consultations, same day emergency visits, and multiple sedation options are available. Most procedures are completed in a single visit. We work closely with your general dentist ensuring seamless care. We are contracted with most insurance carriers and offer interest free plans through Care Credit Financing.

Business Owner

Dr. Dobin is a graduate of the University of Illinois where he received his bachelors degree in Science. He received his Dental degree at the Northwestern University. Dr. Dobin went on to receive his Specialty Certificate in Endodontics and Master of Science degree at Northwestern University. Dr. Dobin is also certified in Adult Oral Conscious Sedation. Dr. Dobin and his wife Ellen have two boys. Dr. Dobin enjoys spending time with family and friends. He is a gourmet cook, and loves to grow and prepare organic meals.

This past week I was sent to see Dr. Dobin for some specialized dental work that my regular Dentist doesn’t do. I had (2) root canals done at the same setting and all went well.
Dr Dobin and his entire staff are very professional and considerate.
I would recommend them to anyone needing root canal work done.

I had a root canal procedure at Diablo View Endodontics on April 1st, 2016.
I did not have an appointment, but when my toothache peaked, my regular dentist referred me to Diablo View. Donna and Molly made certain that I was well informed on registration - (nifty online sign-​in tool) and other necessities.
Dr. Dobin, with assistance from Leslie, made me feel as comfortable as one could be. They provided excellent care and professional work.
At1:00 PM, I was in the chair and the procedure was completed at 3:00. When the anesthesia wore off at around 7:00, there was no pain. None at all. The experience could not have been more satisfying. I can’t say I’m looking forward to my next visit (that would be sick), but I know where I can receive excellent care when I need it.

I have never felt so comfortable in the hands of a medical professional as I have with Dr. Dobin and his team. It was clear as soon as I walked into the office I knew I was in great hands. The office is immaculent and has soothing spa music playing. Molly at the front desk is very friendly and professional. Julie, the RDA, is so calm, caring, professional, and she explains everything! Dr. Dobin is very engaging and explains everything in simple terms. Donna helped me check out and reviewed my instructions so clearly. I am in the medical profession and am thoroughly impressed with Dr Dobin and his team!

Dr. Dobin and his staff are excellent. You’d be hard pressed to do better. He is professional, communicates during the procedure and so very thorough in all aspects involved. I had a root canal and experienced no pain during or in fact after the procedure. He and his staff are friendly and put you at ease the minute you walk in the door. The office atmosphere is pleasant with soft meditative music in the background. I would wholeheartedly recommend Dr. Dobin for your Endodontic needs.

This last week I had a root canal. I have not really enjoyed going to the dentist in the past but with Dr. Dobin I felt confident that he did a great job and it was painless which was shocking I highly recommend his work as well as his office staff is wonderful!

I had the worst experience with dr Dobin !!! I had my root canal done and 2 days later my whole face eyes swelled up and I was in extremely pain!!! when I needed help, I called and made an appointment with him, he didn’t even show up he left a message to the receptionist other doctor can take a look at my teeth and when the other Doctor saw me he recommend me to go emergency room ! I mean really I paid over 1300 $ and trusted him and he didn’t even care to help me than we went to emergency room they gave me antibiotic and my infected tooth drained in 2 days later it was gross:((I went to another root canal specialist she said actually dr Dobin did a very bad job he didn’t even took the nerve out that’s why my tooth got infected so the whole time I sat on his chair he drilled my tooth and saying he took all the nerves out, so he basically don’t know what he is doing !!! plz stay away from there !!! I been thru very emotional 2 weeks with pain, swelling not eating, my eyes were almost closed I was so scared … I will never forget this experience!!! I will post pictures of my face next week
To Doctor Dobin, I have my witness, prove of what happened, pictures, I’m sure your medical records don’t lie as u think I’m lying and why would I lie about something like that ! You had the the office 2991 treat Blvd when u try to fix my tooth I should of never came there in the first place ! But who knows I will end up in emergency room over a root canal so no reason to deny what happened instead of accusing me, you need to think clearly what happened and accept it, I just don’t want no one to go thru what I went thru!

Dr Dobin and his entire staff were so friendly and helpful during my appointment today. They made me feel very comfortable in their office. Dr Dobin was so gentle I didn’t even feel it when he gave me the injection to get numb. This is by far one of the best dental experiences I have ever had.

Dr. Dobin’s staff is very unprofessional. Specifically Theresa one of his receptionists. She was very rude over the phone and pushy. Definitely not recommending this place and in fact will tell all of my friends at the country club not to ever go there. I’m in so much pain from my dental work and to top it off having to deal with a rude and condescending person is so frustrating and outrageous. Never going back. Good luck securing more patients.

I was referred to Dr. Dobin by my DDS to evaluate for a root canal due to a strange finding on initial x-​rays. The office in Brentwood was very clean and calming. The front desk personnel are friendly and helpful. The back office assistant was nice and competent. Luckily, no root canal was needed but there was still a question of the strange x-​ray. Dr. Dobin suggested and performed a CT scan in office that helped us determine where to go. I’m thankful for the care, honesty and professionalism this office provides. It’s also wonderful that they take advantage of new technology.

Was referred to this office from my regular dentist because of the location of the root canal needed as well as the fact that I am 35 weeks pregnant. The office staff and Dr. Dobin were all fantastic. I’ve never had a root canal done, so I have nothing to compare this experience to, but I can say that a day later I feel totally fine (sure a little sore, but that’s to be expected). Because I’m so far along in my pregnancy I had to get a medical release from my OB. In order to do that, Dr. Dobin’s office had to specify the work being done and all medications being used. The ladies at the front had no problem with that and did it very quickly! They were also super nice and thoughtful, even calling the day after to make sure I was feeling okay. Overall a great experience all the way through for something that no one likes to go through!

What’s to like about a root canal? :)
My dentist referred me to him for a dead tooth that was getting infected (but still no pain — YET).
I’ve had a root canal before, and it wasn’t that much fun. So yes, I was a bit apprehensive.
In our first exam, he said he’d try to save the tooth and its crown. That’s the good news. Then he said to make sure I have lots of Advil. Advil? I want serious stuff to kill the pain. Oh, no worry. That’s easy for HIM to say. He did do a great job of explaining what he was going to do, in terms I could understand, complete with pictures (x-​rays).
So I went in for my dreaded root canal. Nice people, made me comfortable, and then the drill and stuff. Then I was done. What? No (significant) pain. The Advil worked!
Not that I’d just casually pop in for another root canal, but if I did need one, and was within 1,000 miles, I’d go to Diablo View.

I’ve had two other root canals (other places) prior to this last one I had here. Best root canal I have ever had. Both the doctor and assistant were very friendly, very informative, and very comforting. This was by far the easiest and quickest root canal I have ever had. Will definitely be coming back here for any future root canals :)
