Digger’s Diner

We arrived on Father’s day and we waited maybe five minutes for a seat. The waitress was personable and took our order promptly. Once we received our food it was hot and prepared as ordered. Totally delicious with quality ingredients. Most certainly will return!

I come her about every 1 – 2 weeks with my client because she loves going here. The staffs attitude is very nice and all the girls remember US! Which I like. The food is very good BUT 4 stars because I wish they would make their fries more crispier and not so soggy.

Best Burger? Wow, came here for the first time tonight. Ordered the bbq bacon cheese burger, my wife had the mushroom burger. We ordered the Mac and cheese for my son. All I have to say was this place is terrible. Tastes like all this place does is order everything frozen from Sysco foods. Also ordered the curly fries, they also tasted like they just pull them out of the freezer and deep fry. When they brought my sons Mac and cheese I almost wanted to send it back. It was maybe at best, Kraft Mac and cheese. I would never come back here. I would have had a better burger and Carl’s Jr.

Great Prices! Family Friendly. Great food. Only downside was the slow service.

Just had another great breakfast at Diggers. Was my wife’s birthday and they made it special. The ladies were great as always. Brought a delicious cinnamon roll and sang her happy birthday. The guys in the kitchen did their usual outstanding job. Best hash browns and bacon ever. Thanks again for all you do

We called ahead and they graciously set up a table for us, given we were dining with three toddlers. We tried to go to a different restaurant first but didn’t realize when we picked it on Unilocal there was a farmers market in front of it and the wait was ridiculous. I am so glad we redirected to this restaurant because it was fantastic. Service was quick and full of smiles. They made sure our toddlers’ drinks came out quickly so whining was minimized. They have toys, crayons and things to color. The food was delicious. The bacon was absolutely perfect, crunchy and huge. Everybody ate til we were stuffed. I would absolutely come back here again. This little diner is a gem.

I have had breakfast, pattie melt, now burger. The best in town.
I would recommend Diggers, for the serious foodies. just good ol’ home comfort food.

I choose 2−½ stars. If you order something a little different than the menu you have to tell them 10 times and still double check the order. You tell them dry, they put everything on it, you tell them cheddar, they put on Swiss. And their milk shakes are not real shakes. For the ordering they should pay attention better, not sure if it’s the people taking the orders, or its the cooks.

One of my favorite dinners, great tasting burgers and good value. Tried the grilled chicken sandwich today and it was as usual very yummy. Definitely recommend and awesome place to bring your kids because they have toys, fabulous Mac & Cheese and French fries.

If you are looking for good service, decent service, ummm any service??? I would not try here! I have had bad service before but this is the first time I actually got up and left. Funny thing is I dont even think they noticed.
Went in Sunday Morning and it was fairly busy but we got seated right away. The so did the next 5 groups after us who all got drinks and their orders taken while we just sat and sat and sat there. We were told a couple times «be right back» «be right with you» but after 20 minutes we just got up and left. Wont be going back! Looked dirty anyhow!

Lots of options for heathy diets and not so health diets, great burger I got the turkey and surprisingly it’s a good size for the price.

Average with a touch of ick. Starting with the ick: Cleanliness — this place doen’t seem to have it. The table was sticky and still had bits of lettuce and some other food stuffs on it after the very quick wipe. The bench seats had some food as well and I found myself having to brush crumbs off my rump after finishing my meal.
My son wanted the Oreo pancakes, but despite them being on the menu and the statement that they provide breakfast all day it turns out that doesn’t include pancakes, those are only until noon (we were there between 12:30~1). So my son had the large cinnamon roll with cream cheese frosting. It arrived cold and tasted like a larger version of the one you get from vending machines. If it had at least been delivered warm it would have been better.
I had the Incinerator, which was a fairly good sandwich. The meat was tough and even thought it’s advertised as being served with «grilled jalapenos» they were warm but didn’t have any of the flavor or texture of something that had been grilled.
My wife had a very average grilled chicken sandwich, her comment is «it was okay».
The frys and curly frys were just about what you would expect and the staff was good about keeping our cups full. I’m giving this place three stars because though the food was disappointing I’m hoping the cleanliness isn’t a normal issue, the service was okay, and the food wasn’t bad.

First time today, ordered for pickup.
+ it was ready on time and the order was correct. staff was friendly and attentive.
I had the Crypt burger, fries and taco salad.
The. Burger. Is. Massive. I cut it in half to share with my husband and it was still too big for us! It was good but had WAY too much mustard, like it was drenched in mustard, and I like mustard! My fries were super soggy, so I was really bummed about that. The taco salad was bomb, but there was barely any salsa on it so ¾ of it I ate dry. Love the chips though, super yum!
My total was $ 22 and for all the things that were lacking and the fact that it’s on the other side of town I probably won’t be back.

Customer service is what helped raise the rating. Server was very attentive and pleasant. Food definitely «deep fried» giving it a recooked overcooked look and taste. Starter platter not worth the $ 8+. We asked for deep fried zucchini, mozzarella cheese sticks and chicken nuggets (I just now found our from my kids that we never actually for any chicken nuggets, just a boatload of very bland zucchini). Sweet potato fries okay despite the aforementioned over deep frying. Mushroom burger was lightly flavored and only condiments offered were mustard and mayonnaise. Adult burgers do not automatically come with fries but when you combine it’s not overpriced, which is good. Kids menu okay. The kids liked their meal well enough. Another day forced to eat out while our kitchen is repaired from a leak.

I’ve been going here for years and can say I’ve always had great service and food. They have roughly a million different flavors of shakes. I’d say the must try items are their Cinnamon roll and their ball park fries.

We stopped here to find a local diner in our prospective «new neighborhood». After all, isn’t a neighborhood only as good as it’s food? The burgers are HUGE, but more importantly tasty. We found the service to be exceptional and the overall value is great. definitely to be on of our regular hangouts.

We’re visiting from NYC and decided to give Digger’s Diner a try after seeing the pics of food on Unilocal.We actually ordered burgers (Cali Burger and Mushroom Swiss Burger) for takeout the day before and really enjoyed them, so we came back for breakfast. We were totally satisfied with the service and our order: Popeye Omelette and Country Fried Steak & Eggs and an Oreo pancake, which I highly recommend!
If we lived here we would most definitely come back to Digger’s more often!

Like this place, it’s within walking distance to my home, love the curly fries, the shakes, burgers and breakfast!
something management/​ownership should change though is the fact when I ordered curly fries to go, it was placed on a foam, it melted!

My favorite food, Crossiant bacon egg sandwich which are bomb here as well as Met my expectations! They serve good breakfast and also after breakfast. Good large mug of steamin coffee! !

My new go-​to burger place in Brentwood. Love the Lo-​carb lettuce wrapped Spicy Patty Melt
