These guys are great! When I met with Brian and Bryan, I had a very basic knowledge of solar and the benefits of owning over leasing. I was provided with an extremely detailed and informative pamphlet regarding my current electrical usage, solar outputs with selected panels, and a cost analysis package. I compared this experience against the other solar companies I had met with and they surpassed the field in all categories.
On the day of the install, they arrived on time and ready to get started. They had taken care of all the city permits and made sure all the materials were on site with the guys. The installers were good too. Hard working, determined, and SAFE, these guys were scaling 35 foot ladders for my two story home but made sure the ladders were secured to the house to prevent any accidents. It seems small and minimal, but that’s one of the most important parts of working in construction.
The installation flew by and the inspector arrived the following day. He complemented me on the system and even pointed out a few extra steps that Element Power Systems completed that wasn’t required in our city, but added to the safety and production of the system. I wasn’t charged for these steps, they were included in my low price quote and was just another example of how Element Power Systems took care of me. I can’t stop talking about my new system and have been sharing this experience with everyone willing to listen.
You cannot go wrong with choosing Element Power for your solar project. It’s easy to get distracted by some lesser companies offering quick, but minimum savings in comparison.

Dan and the crew came to our house and did an awesome job. Very polite, very quiet. And to cap it off very clean finish.

Not only was Element Power the only electrician in the area that actually answered their phone when I called, but they made an exceptional effort to help me with my problem! After I explained my issue, I was told how to easily fix the issue. They asked me to send some pictures, and promptly returned my call with advise. I’m sure they could have come out and charged me a truck load of money, but instead they chose to run an honest business and truly help me in my hour of need. Thank you very much Element Power!

Brian the owner of Element Power Systems and his team did a fantastic job with the uninstall and reinstall of our solar roof while we had a new roof fitted. They kept us in the loop all the way and made sure that everything was working correctly despite a couple of technical problems with the system. A real pleasure to work with and Five Stars for sure!

Element were our sub contractors for our solar install. They did an awesome job and are a great company to work with. If we hadn’t already been in contract with Sungevity, I would of definitely gone with Element. Both companies are great if you are thinking of going solar. It just depends on your situation.

Brian and company did an amazing job on my system. They were very courteous and relatively quiet considering they did a major construction project on my home. Amazingly, they completed a 26-​panel installation in a single day. I couldn’t be happier with Element. Extremely knowledgeable, professional local company that manage to produce a high quality install in no time at all. I would encourage anyone who is interested in solar in the Bay Area to give Element a call. I know I certainly will refer anyone that asks about solar to Brian and Element.

This company rocks! Element recently finished up my installation. I called them for a quote. Brian, the company owner, quickly got back to me with a rough estimate and a satellite image of my house with the panel placement. No high pressure sales or anything like that. «Call me if you decide to go with solar and we can take some rooftop measurements for a more precise estimate». A month passed, I crunched the numbers and figured that solar was going to work for me. Not once did I get any pestering phone calls like I had gotten from solar contractors in the past. I called Brian and asked for him to measure the roof and to give me a firm quote. He came out, walked the rooftop, he answered any questions I had. We spoke for about an hour. He is very knowledgeable, and a great communicator. Within a couple of days he e-​mailed me a bid with a couple of different panel layouts I had requested. I decided to go with Element because 1) their prices were competitive. 2) they were local 3) they were genuine and knowledgeable. Also after talking to Brian, he showed me their roof flashing technique, and I got the feeling that they were not going to screw up my tile roof. With all the tile roofs in Brentwood, I guess they get a fair bit of practice. I told them what type of panels I wanted, the type of inverters, and Brian even let me get involved in the design process. I figured Brian’s estimated generation calculations might be a little on the optimistic side. Who could blame him, he sells solar for a living. That was not the case, he was being conservative. The system is producing about 10 to 20 percent more then I thought it would, and yes, I did factor in the long summer days into my calculations. If you are looking into solar, you owe it to yourself to get a quote from Element. The install was top notch, and the price was right!

Bryan, Wes and Brandon did the install on my house and I could not have asked for a better crew. They were on time showing up when they said, they were polite and knowledgable about the installation. They performed my installation as if it were their own home, asking me a number of time about placement of items routing of conduit… etc. These guys are top notch and would recommend them to anyone installing solar panels.

Called Brian and he came out to our house and gave me a estimate and it was one of the best deals for solar that I got out of 7 – 10 companies. I went to the home and garden show in Pleasanton and ran into a roofing/​solar company from Brentwood and we were chatting and I mentioned Element and the guy tells me «Hey I really respect Brian and his company does good work. They called us out to a job that they were doing and wanted us to see if the area they wanted to install the solar panels on should be replaced so that they wouldn’t have to come back in 5 years.» Well the roofing company did replace that portion and that says a lot when your competition says good things about you. Would have gone with Element but at the last minute I got a better deal from someone else. This company is top notch!

Brian with Element Solar was one of many contractors I spoke to. I am a tough customer and he was not only local, which I appreciated, but he was much more personable. I appreciated the no pressure and HONEST sales approach. He also offered financing options for credit scores under 700 at really excellent interest rates and terms to meet out budget! We didn’t realize we could afford to own our own system! It was helpful because we have a pool and spa which ran up our PG&E terribly and needed a solution. He met with us many occasions at our home in the evenings and weekends to meet our schedules. He returns call and emails too. No matter how many times we had questions or wanted to see alternative scenarios, he was there with information and documentation to back it up. He had options as to the aesthetic appeal of different panel options and our solar looks beautiful! They installed quickly, efficiently and around our schedule. The service didn’t stop there, it takes just a quick text, call or email and Brian himself will respond to answer your questions long after your installation. Element is a non harassing, top of the line, customer service driven company and I couldn’t be happier. They are greater than a five star company! Thank you Element Team!

I cannot say enough good things about Brian and his crew at Element Power Systems. Element installed a PV system on my roof, upgraded my PG&E service to 125A, and installed a 50A hot tub connection. My project was challenging as I have an older home and my 100A service was maxed out. He was able to come up with a solution at a fair price. I talked with a number of other companies but Element was the clear choice. I am so happy with my decision to go with Element.
When I first talked with Brian he impressed me because he listened to my project requirements and offered up some potential ideas. He even made several calls to PG&E; talked to the city; and reviewed my load calcs before I committed or signed a contract. I never felt pressured and I really appreciated his patience with all my questions.
They were always professional and kept me informed of progress and next steps. They did top notch work. I even had a PG&E inspector comment that my PV system was one of the few he has seen with the Locus monitoring system installed correctly. I highly recommend Element Power Systems.

Brian and his crew installed my solar system here in Manteca, CA. His crew were super professional and their work is top notch. Even my county inspector was impressed with their work.
