First Stop Wheels and Tires

I have purchased at least 4 sets of tires not to mention 3 sets of rims and that Cat Ron is trying to charge me for a leak around the bead of the tire… Sad that he wouldn’t do it just to keep a happy customer. Needless to say, rims we got for a 2008 charger are already peeling and there is NO warranty! F#$!in joke and a waste of time.
BTW, Les Schwab does the Flat Repairs for FREE & Warranty the tires you buy!

Poor customer service and shabby workmanship left dirty tires and balance was all screwed up. It’s 60 miles an hour I thought my truck was going to come apart. Had to have a big O tire fix the problem.

I woke up for work to a flat tire.
I got the tire off & drove it to Big O, they told me it would take «a couple of hours» to get the tire patched, despite the 4 guys standing around smoking cigarettes not doing anything. I didn’t have all day, I was already late for work! So I drove to this place across the street & they were busy, but the guy squeezed me right in, it cost $ 20 to patch the tire, he had it done in about 10min, and I gave him $ 40 for getting the job done quickly!
I’m so grateful they understood I was in a hurry & needed help ASAP, great service & I was able to get back on the road & go about my day!

This place is the coolest. Don’t let the façade fool you these guys can do everything under the sun for your car and at a good price. I took my Benz for a wheel repair and Alex hooked it up, they repaired it the same day and he also gave me a deal for a set of new tires.

Great service! Very affordable too! Got 4 tires and they had me out the door in only 45 min. Looks like they’re expanding their services to include auto repair. I’ll have to try that next time I need an oil change.

I love this place. I take all my cars there for tires. When I’m in the area I always stop by and they check my tire pressure. The prices are very competitive also. This one of the only places that can install large custom wheels and still maintain the original feel of the vehicle.

If I could give this place a 0 I would! Instead of writing a review I will just copy and paste the text I wrote my buddy about the great recommendation he gave this crook!
«Your tire guy is a fucken asshole! Ever since I took the truck there and he put the tire on its been leaking with a slow leak so today me and al went to sushi next to Home Depot and the tire started going down again so we stopped at that tire store to patch it I got air into it earlier because its been flat for a couple days and I was going to take it into first stop after we ate. So when they took the tire off to patch it for free they told me that it wasn’t the tire it was the rim bent on the inside. I called first stop to buy a rim from them and told them could it have been when they switched the tires around its the same tire they changed the guy told me I probably hit a pot hole and I told him I haven’t even been driving the car and haven’t hit any pot holes. I DID NOT even have an attitude or anything I just said I would drive it to them in the morning and get it fixed he said they could fix the rim there and I said cool have a goodnight see you in the am. Now I just get a message from Alex saying that he won’t do any business with me and to never come there again!!! I never was even asking him to do anything for free I was just gonna get it fixed and pay. I guess I can add to the fucked up reviews that they already have about them! I’m so pissed I never even went off on his ass!»
With that being said American Tires in Brentwood/​Antioch are great and have great prices as well as free tire replacement if ANYTHING YES IM SAYING ANYTHING (like blowing your tire on the freeway, someone slashing your tire etc!) they will replace your tire for free with a brand new one! Unfortunately I have to purchase new rims and tires but fortunately I found this great reputable company where all of the staff are pleasant!!!

This place is total BS! I went and spent $ 850 on 18″ tires and rims for my car, it was suppose to include wheel balancing… after I left from having my wheels put on I went to work and noticed that my drive was extremely hard and the steering wheel was shaking very hard. so I had my normal mechanic check out my whole drive train, he asked my when the last time my wheels were balanced and I told him just s few days ago since I bought new tires, he said they were not balanced. So the mechanic balanved the tires and we went for a test drive, and he was right. shaking issue was fixed. So I called first tire shop and told them that I had to pay to get my wheels balanced and that it was suppossed to be included in my tire price. the owner got very offended and says that it wasn’t possible that his workers didn’t balance the wheels, raises his voice (I told him to calm down and not talk to me in such a way) he basically calls me a liar .I have my receipt and my car no longer shakes so yes jerkoff your guys didn’t balance. Owner says if you dont like the way I am then you dont needto come back… I respond and say, your dam right I wont ever be back. worst customer service/​work ever! Pisses me off that I spent my money there!

I called and asked if they would match a price of $ 65 to mount, balance, stems, disposal of my old tires and to put on tires I am bringing in.
The guys says I’ll do better! $ 60! I tried to ask cash or do you take plastic? he hung up on me. I had to call again and ask the question and he answered CASH ONLY!!!
I go down there only because I am helping a friend sell his car and he doesn’t have much money to spend. A reputable locations wants $ 100+
I got there and the story changed. They wanted $ 5 more per valve stem…
I told them I just want one stem replaced, since I think it was leaking. Buuuut it wasn’t that easy.
The guy running the show comes to me and asks what I wanted done. I explained to him I called and asked to match price and how much etc etc. I had no issue spending $ 65 even to add one stem. He says (with a blue tooth in his ear) «TAKE YOUR BUSINESS TO ANOTHER LOCATION! I DON’T NEED EXCUSES HERE!»
I had to raise my voice and say «I am here! I don’t want to take it else where! Just get it done!»
So he makes it clear to only change one stem to his employees. They start working on it.
***I will not discredit the employees! They are hard workers and made sure to take care of my wheels.*** (I use to work at a tire shop) the workers have their stuff together.
Later the same guy running the show comes to me and says «I had to change all the valve stems because they were bad.» I was watching them the entire time and no one asked me to complete this addition cost (which is illegal). I said «so now what?» He replies «$ 5 each.» I told him I only had $ 65 on me and I didn’t mind giving him $ 65 but now more… He said I will let it go this time, it was for your safety I had to change them. I asked, «why didn’t you inform me since I never left site of my car?» No response and he left it alone…
When my car was wrapping up, he came by and apologized for «giving you a hard time.»
If there was a «no star option» the owner would have received that option. Since there is not, one star for the owner!
I added a second star because of the workers! If there was a bit better customer service from the «man» I would have given the location at least 3 stars.

First stop is a family own and operated gas station, but the tire shop attached to the gas station is a completely separate business.
I like First Stop Tire Shop because they give me quality used tires at a very affordable price. I’ve never had a problem with purchasing tires of dealt with any shadiness or difficult behaviors. What I do know is that they do better business in person than over the phone and it helps to be personable.
The manager of the Tire Shop is a bit, stern, but if you come to him with an open-​minded and not necessarily showing him your open wallet he can be very easygoing and receptive. A laugh or two doesn’t hurt. He’s never tried to purposefully screw myself or my family out of any money and for the amount of times we’ve frequented, it’s like visiting old friends.
The service is very quick and even on a slow day, it’s much quicker than any other tire shop. Don’t mistake quick service for shoddy work either. They do all the work right there in front of you and if you have any questions, depending on who is working on your tires, they are more than willing to explain what they’re doing and the process.

I went to Big o to fix a flat and they had a one hour wait, I remembered seeing this place along brentwood blvd so I went there. Yikes… I was afraid for my life as I stepped out of the car, looks like the slums have moved to brentwood… I bet there was some shady business going on there. I asked one of the guys who works there about the flat and he said it will be $ 20 to fix and around half an hour. I got back in my car and drove to Firestone on lone tree and they took care of me in 20 minutes and $ 15.

I would not buy a single thing from these guys. All their crap comes from the San Jose flea market. They sell tires that shouldn’t even be on the road. Spend a little money and go to a reputable tire shop. Oh, and if you buy a car from Antioch Dodge they buy their tires and wheels from this dump, then TRY and charge thousands of dollars. The tires sold at this place average $ 100 at
(that’s if they’re legal to sell in the US.) and the wheels average about $ 150 at
. These are for wheels that are 22″ and larger. You can get them close to the pricing you find on-​line, but all of their products are by far on the low, low, low, end of the quality scale.

Don’t judge a book by it’s cover… it may not look fancy, but I had fabulous customer support. My brother has been dealing with them for years and so I gave them a try. Alex, the owner, was very nice & supportive. They have many brands of tires… so just don’t order the cheapest… you get what you pay for.

Be cautious in dealing with this place. They advertise a special oil change price, I called to confirm, then when I showed up it was 3 times what they advertised.
Looks like bait and switch to me.

This place sucks, avoid them at all cost! I went to order a rim cap that fell off my rim. I got one from them two weeks ago for $ 45. When I asked for a receipt they changed their minds and refuse to do business with me! I wonder where they get their from!
