While I have never officially hired Kamie Hefner, I did seek her advice regarding a family law issue that I was struggling with. She was forthright and very direct with me regarding her opinion — and she also had very sound advice about the process and my next steps. I felt very comfortable discussing my issues with her — which sometimes is complicated in matters of the heart.
In the end, I did not need to pursue legal action in my case, but if I had, I would have hired her. She also spoke to me about mediation services, which appealed to me because it would have been an effective way to resolve the issues WITHOUT having to go to court, which is exactly what I wanted to avoid. I appreciated her insight and candid thoughts on the whole situation.

I just want to say that going through a new change in life is a challenge. From the moment I walked in the door, I felt like things were going to be ok. Kamie and her staff were professional yet caring and great listeners to my situation. They were very fair, optimistic and helpful for my situation. Kamie Hefner represented me for an 18 month period during what was sadly a bitterly contested divorce. She was my second attorney, I fired the first and after working with Kamie I realize I made the right decision. She was equally professional, courteous, businesslike and honest. I believe this is not by her choice, these traits are at the core of her very being.

I am grateful I had kamie represent me in court. She is compassionate about her work and feel like I am her only client when dicussing my situation. I have known kamie since 2010 and everytime I have had a positive outcome. She is a very laid back easy person to talk to, but put her in the court system or situation and she is a pistol. She has always been honest and upfront and has never been dishonest to me. I would recommend everyone to kamie hefner. She is a great lawyer and person. This is all semantics, Kamie represented me in my divorce and did the bare minimum to represent me!!! As far as the other I called her up and asked her to represent me/​hire her. I set an appointment with her and we met NEVER once did she it was a consultation, she told me I could handle it myself and the judge would not like it if I had a lawyer and me ex didn’t. Had she stated I don’t want represent you, I would have sought other counsel… I have had others that have strayed away from her because if her ineptness and dishonest nature… tread lightly if you hire her!!! I pretty much paid her to defend my abusive ex-​husband.

Kamie represented me in court on a contested matter and it was a great outcome!
