I went to Jefferson’s expecting the great oysters I had there before and was disappointed. The plate I received had just a smattering of oysters the size of a cashew at best and they were cooked beyond belief. I almost think they were canned oysters encased in batter. If they cannot get good oysters they should take them off their menu. When I complained and asked if there was something they could do pertaining to my bill the waitress could have at least sent a manager out to see what the problem was but she seemed to not to give a flip.

I am in from denver for work and this place is right next to my hotel. Saw the sign for oysters and figured it would be fried oysters out of a plastic tub but no… they were fresh gulf oysters on the halfshell. They were awesome… beer was cold… very reasonable prices. Definately would recommend. I sat at the small bar and the waitress who was taking care of the whole room did a great job. Can’t wait to visit again.

Their wings are some of the best Nashville and the surrounding area have to offer. Many other establishments opt for extra jumbo wings and they don’t know how to cook them properly leaving a fatty wing with silly putty skin. Jefferson’s wings are the perfect size wing and they know how to cook the hell out of them! Their crinkle fries are a perfect pairing with any wing order and the ranch is some of the best you will taste. I have yet to have bad service or a warm beer in all my years frequenting this establishment. I have been on life long mission to find the perfect wing experience, and right now they are winning.

Stopped there for lunch, oysters were very good– fresh and tasty. Wings were good too, could have been a little spicier though. Great staff and service, good prices as well. Had cheese sticks that were also good. Nice place to eat!

The food was not fresh and tasted soggy even though it was just prepared. The dishes were also extremely salty and lacking flavor. I honestly don’t know how anyone rates it 3 stars, unless it is the only option in the Brentwood area. The server was very friendly, but I will not be returning to this restaurant!

I’ve visited Jeffersons about two dozen times since it opened. Knowing this place is a sports bar, I’m rating based on similar places. Here’s the deal, the food is excellent. The prices are great… The only reason in giving a 4⁄5 stars is the staff is pretty inconsistent. The place isn’t that big, but the service is sometimes a bit slow and more often than not, lackadaisical. It hasn’t mattered if I come in with a suit and tie for a business lunch or a Saturday afternoon for beer, wings and a game… sometimes the servers are on the spot… sometimes they miss the mark completely.

I used to live in M’boro and frequented the Jefferson’s in town at least once a week. I loved the food but hated the service so when we came to the Jefferson’s in Brentwood, I was eager to see what the service was like. I’m convinced this is the best wings joint around. Food is delicious and the service was great. My favorite wing sauces are: garlic parm and sweet n’ sassy. Although there was only one waitress, she managed multiple tables in a timely manner. She was quick and efficient. It was AWESOME and a great change from the M’boro Jefferson’s. Will definitely be coming back here for a wing fix!

I work locally, go here regularly and have the last year or so. Good burgers, sandwiches, etc. Also have craft beer on tap with daily food and beer specials. Service has always been friendly and good speed. Overall, solid restaurant and recommended.

So want to like this place as it seems to have everything, but the mixed drinks at our group table were nasty. it was obvious there was going to be problems when the cook was helping the server/bartender muddle thru bottles to figure out what to put in a LIT, more the. that the sweet and sour mix in the drink was rotten. Moving on the the place comes across as dirty backed up by the stickey tables, grabbed for a napkin and my fingers stuck to the nasty paper towel holder. Skipped the salad special doubting the freshness going for the cooked wings and fried pickles. Wings were ok and fried pickles were excellent. This was my fifth time here. This could be a great place if Bar Rescue or Tabitha Takes Over comes in and cleans this place up.

As weird as it sounds… there just aren’t a ton of lunch/dining options here in Brentwood/Maryland farms area. So most places that have sit down dining always have a long wait. This is a small setting, so get there early or show up late. Obviously you’ll be standing and waiting if you get there at prime 12pm. However, their weekly specials are always a great deal. Its nice to get out for lunch and not spend a fortune. I’ve had a few burgers, and they are good. Not the most amazing burger, but hot and fresh — fresh veggies… It’s good to me. Their buffalo chicken wrap is also pretty good. Staff is always friendly, food is always hot and fresh. I think for the time frames that I usually show up, they definitely do a great job of trying to get everyone in and out for lunch. I try and frequent them 1 time a month.

Nothing special, just a decent neighborhood Bar with a decent beer selection and some pretty good wings. It isn’t any place you’d want to go to be stylish :-) but it will certainly do for beer and wings!

First of all, Jefferson’s is straight up sports grille food(burgers, fries, wings etc.) which is fine by me as I like that kind of thing. My meal started with their fried pickles(recommend on the their menu) which were some of the best I have ever had, they have my highest compliments on their fried pickles. The burger, on the other hand, was not that great, but not that bad either. In other words, the burger was perfectly average. My one side, mac n” cheese was just average as well, I have had better out of a box. To sum up, the fried pickles are a must have in this restaurant as they are fantastic. The burger, on the other hand, is perfectly average. Nothing to special here, but nothing bad here either.

Gross. I had some chicken thing that was unpleasant once. I had the fish and chips another time that can be beaten by a fast food place. I even tried a third time for some oysters rockefeller or similar type dish. Nizasty. «I’ll never be back»(say that like AHRNOLD in Terminator).

Bummer. Something is going on with my joint. I really, really, liked this place… what is up? The last three visits don’t measure up to what was the best wing joint in town. The kitchen is all screwed up… totally. I always get the wings or chicken fingers… with their wing sauce. Tonight, the fam got the usual and I went for the special of the day… burger and fries. Houston, I mean Jefferson, we have a problem. The burger meat had no flavor and wasn’t even hot(it came out quick which suggests it was precooked). The bacon on the burger was puny and lacked flavor. Despite requesting no BBQ sauce, it came out with some loose red liquid on it and an apology from the server who thought it was bacon(supporting my claim the bacon was puny). I ordered cheddar… it had American cheese instead. Bummer. It may seem petty, but the condiments on the table(mayo, ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper) were greasy, crusty, and really funky. It seems as if the cheap off the store shelf plastic bottles are being refilled. Mayo, which apparently doesn’t need refrigerated, was empty so we grabbed one from another table… the lid was covered in mayo that had gelled and was funky on a whole ‘notha level. The ketchup wasn’t even red which caused me to wonder if it’s really Heinz despite the label. Enough discussion about the condiments… it would only get worse. Gosh, you can see with over 200 reviews, I am not a whiner. But, the fries… some were cooked and some were barely cooked, some were hot and some were cold, some were crisp and some were nasty, nasty, nasty. Tonight was certainly the worse experience, but I can’t say the last two were on par with the many visitis prior… what is going on with this place? The server was nice… I wish he had worked the kitchen and maybe it would have been a good meal.

Food is below average bar food. Service was ok but the place was dirty and they were just standing around. Over priced on the food but the beer specials were good. Its more a wing and beer sports type place than a restaurant.

I wanted to like it. I really did. Since our office is really really close, it would have been nice to have a good little American food joint nearby. You’d think in Brentwood, in Maryland Farms where thousands of people work every day, there would be a decent meal to be had. Jefferson’s isn’t much worse than the other options in the area(the rest get 2 stars), but in one of the wealthiest zip codes in the state, you’d think there would be some decent food. Not so much. Jefferson’s consistently has a good lunch crowd(for why I don’t know). But the food is clearly straight out of the GFS/Sysco freezer back, reconstituted in the fryer or on the grill and delivered slowly to the table.(it takes longer to cook from frozen). No flavor, no seasoning, no love. Save a buck and eat your burger a Back Yard Burgers.
