Making Changes Salon

The salon is beautiful and so is the owner Linda Davis. She has been the mainstay for my hair. She’s wonderful.

Ok. So I needed a hair emergency. Hair was running down my back, frizzed out, layers lost and unrecognizable. all was untamed.
I was referred to this place before but never really took the offer as I’m a creature of routine and familiarity.
After a long day of shopping and errands and feeling haggard from this cave woman of hair… I just decided to walk in!
WAIT. let me rewind. I actually walked into another salon before this place and they actually turned my business don because they were understaffed. I was bummed but then I remembered «Making Changes»
anyway. as I was saying…
Walking in I’ll admit I was a bit timid, like I said. I don’t like new places.
There was 2 ladies already working on clients and after being rejected once I was expecting the same reaction… but NO. I was welcomed as a walk in! :)
Jewels. (or Julieanne as I was referred to her as by a coworker) greeted me and had me wait about 30 minutes while she was finishing up with her current client. I thought that was a long time. that is until she worked on me. and well I’ll get to that.
While waiting. and with. Dollar Tree in walking distance. I got 10 items for $ 10… hahaha. best deal of the day!
But I digressed…
. Back to the Salon, I finally got my turn. I was a little embarrassed about my neglected hair but she was a sport … and didn’t poke fun. :)
We talked about cuts and styles. and I gave her the power to run with it.
Her services was professional, personable and within budget! She did a complete hair wash, cut, blow dry and style for $ 35! She’s also perfectionist! After she blow dries your hair, she checks her work and makes corrections (if needed) as she goes. I think thats what i like most about her. She loves what she does and you see it in her work!
8 inches of hair later, she gave my now shoulder length hair back its volume, sheer and layers of FUN! … literally. shes great with layers!
She’s works mainly with appointment only. If your lucky like I am, she’ll take you as a walk in. cash/​personal checks only.
I HIGHLY recommend to everyone out there!
Now, please excuse me as I fondle my hair like a shampoo commercial :)

It took me almost 6 months to finally get my hair back to normal… Anastasia is the worst, I mean worst stylist there. She over processed my hair, leaving the dye in my hair longer than normal… Then had the nerve to blame my hair… Who does that? After loosing a lot of my hair. The girl couldn’t even fix it. I had to have sooooo many treatments done to my hair at another salon and finally 6 months later my hair is just now coming back… NEVER AGAIN! If you want your head of hair. DON’T GO THERE AND GET YOUR HAIR DONE BY ANASTASIA…

Dani is an awesome colorist and all around stylist. I will never see anyone else!

I made a last minute appointment Thursday evening and Amanda was able to see me the next day! I got a shellac French manicure with a little red heart on the ring fingers, and silver accents. Amanda did a stunning job, thorough and careful, she did all her work freehand without touchups! I will absolutely be returning, I can’t wait to see what she’ll do if I ask her to go crazy!

had pink glitter/​white tip shellac done by amanda disney and do they look adorable! ive gotten compliments on them literally everywhere i go! you cant beat her prices, especially for the quality of service she provides. good conversation, creativity, and cleanliness :] nails were shaped perfectly :] can’t wait to go back for some glitter toes!

I got my nails done here by Sandy: great friendly service and reasonable prices. She has over 30 years experience and is versatile with colors, styles and nail design (if that’s what you like). I’ll definitely be coming back here :-)
