Robby Rezaei, DDS

Dr. Rezaei is a top endodontist in the LA area. He saved me from terrible pain that I was enduring because of a rotten tooth. The pain was unbearable and I was terrified of what I had heard about root canals. Shortly after arriving in Dr. Rezaei’s office, he assured me the procedure would be done quickly and painlessly. As the doctor promised, the root canal was done shortly with almost no pain. I was shocked. This guy is the real deal and I would highly recommend him. He is definitely an endodontist you can trust.

I went to get a root canal at Dr. Rezaei’s office and it was a pleasant experience. He made me feel comfortable and that is tough to accomplish as I am nervous person when it comes to doctors. I didn’t feel a thing during the procedure and since I have been to a couple dentist appointments and have received the highest praise at the quality of the root canal. Thank you Dr. Rezaei.

I had an old root canal that needed re-​treatment. I was referred here by my primary dentist (whom I am very happy with), who said Dr. Rezaei is very trustworthy and skillful. I whole-​heartedly agree and have been happy with the service here all the way around.
The receptionists were terrific and friendly. Dr Rezaei was very open about what would be involved in the procedure and what my options were. I never felt like I was being pushed to do a procedure that wasn’t needed. He was very transparent about charges involved in the procedure, and furthermore he was a very personable guy who was straightforward in answering questions.
The surgery went wonderfully. Dr. Rezaei has a skilled hand. I don’t think I’ve ever had a local anesthesia applied as painlessly as he did.
Admittedly, there was a confusion after the surgery that had to do with my dental insurance. I spoke with the friendly receptionists and they helped me work with the insurance company to clear up the issue. Very satisfactory service! Much, much better than other endodontists I’ve seen in the past. Highly recommended.

Not happy with my visit. First, the X-​rays of my teeth didn’t seem exactly all that clear on the monitor. Then, after a few tests, he notified me that he couldn’t find the exact problem.
I sat there and cried because the throbbing had been excruciating for days. However, while in the office chair, the pain had unfortunately subsided. just my luck :(
After handing me tissue, the doc mentioned that since he couldn’t recreate the pain, he would have to send me on my way. He refused to do any work because he was an «ethical doctor.» Really? I thought to myself quietly. How can you recreate pain? You aren’t a fussy nerve and I’m not a tooth. On his way out, he did, however, mention to come back when I feel the pain again and he’ll take a look at my tooth… SMH… I left extremely disappointed.
This office visit was quite a let down in my book. Oh ya, just to make things worse, this 5 minute visit with the actual doctor cost my insurance $ 250.00 for him to send me away without a diagnosis. Now, is this «ethical»?

I had infection under a filling in one of my teeth, which caused pain on my left lower jaw for almost a week.
I found out that my teeth is infected and it needs root canal.
I went to dr Rezai and he did an amazing job. I’m so happy with the result.
I highly recommend him and if one day I need a root canal I won’t go to anyone else but him.
He also accepted my dental insurance which was great.

I needed to have my first root canal performed a few weeks ago. I was really nervous about the whole process, but Dr. Robby was so nice and professional, and made me feel at ease about the procedure. The procedure was fairly quick and painless. He also referred me to a great dentist for me for follow up. I would highly recommend Dr. Robby!

Exceptional Endodontist.
Being a dentist, I have been referring my patients to Doctor Robby for many years, and I know him to be an extremely accomplished and skilled endodontist. The results that he obtains first class, and I have great confidence in recommending him to others.
Not only is Dr. Robby a fantastic specialist, he is also a top-​notch person. There has been occasions where I send a patient to Dr. Robby for root canal treatment, and he advises to hold off and wait. He could have arguably started the root canal and charged however much money for the visit, but he doesn’t do that– he makes sure that a root canal is absolutely necessary. That’s what I love about him.

Dr. Rezaei was recommended to me after I had an issue with two root canals that had been done many years ago. I had noticed a discoloration after 15 years and I was told by two dentists that I would most likely need to have veneers put on the teeth to fix that problem. That whole procedure made me very nervous and uncomfortable, but Dr. Rezaei suggested an internal bleaching procedure that completely fixed the discoloration of the affected teeth. Not only was this far less involved, it was far less expensive. I really appreciated his conservative approach, professionalism, and his staff was so sweet and kind.

I never thought I would Unilocal a Dentist but if you need a root canal this is the doctor. I have had three done here and everyone was a breeze. I hate going to the dentist but I have no fear here. I went in because my regular dentist told me my pain was an infected root canal. Turns out all it was, was a cap was hitting my bottom tooth. So he ground it down and everything is great. He could have gave me a shot and worked the tooth and charged me for a visit. Instead, I was in and out of there in a flash.
And for those who trashed a review over the financial end of them. Remember, it’s a business. They have to be in business for you to get this great service.

Nobody likes getting a root canal (especially a retreat on the same tooth)! But Dr. Rezai is a great endodontist. He is completely honest, and discusses all options before proceeding. You can tell he really cares about his patients.

It’s not uncommon for the news, «You’re going to need a root canal» to conjure up images of a torture chamber with a high-​powered drill aimed at your molars.
Fear not.
I have had the uncomfortable experience of more than one root canal, but would be willing to travel a great distance to have the procedure done only by Dr. Rezaei.
Think of him as as a Master Craftsman… a superbly skilled artisan who takes a pride in his work to a degree rarely seen in these times.
Dr. Rezaei is genuinely concerned about our level of comfort, and does not skimp on the anesthesia if he sees us wince at the touch of the probe. Furthermore – and this is actually a biggy for me – He doesn’t depress the plunger of the syringe so fast that your jaw feels like it’s going to explode. Slow and gentle delivery of the anesthesia… waits patiently to make sure it has thoroughly taken effect before beginning.
He is careful and meticulous and gentle from beginning to end… asks how you are doing throughout the procedure, and explains when he moves from one step to the next.
His equipment is state-​of the-​art. All x-​rays are digital and displayed on a computer monitor nearby (you too can see the pictures). His work is actually microsurgery, and he works using a microscope with a camera attached – and takes pictures throughout the procedure. Very, very cool and very interesting.
My tooth had a deep crack, and the iffy part of the problem was the depth of the crack – if all the way to the bone, the root canal could fail, in which case the tooth would have to be extracted and an implant inserted. We should know within a couple of weeks if I will get a few more years out of this particular tooth.
So. Five stars for Dr. Rezai and his staff. Lovely office ijn Brentwood with street parking available if you prefer not to use a parking structure.
Also five stars for my referring dentist, Dr. Khodadadi in BH. It’s always a bit frustrating to try and find a truly excellent medical professional, and these two are excellent and, in my opinion, have demonstrated uncompromising integrity.
P.S.
The culprit in my case was a kernal of popcorn. I’ve heard so many doctors say that if they could ban one snack from their clients it would be popcorn. Lesson learned, for me.

Just had my root canal done and am very pleased. Clean office, very friendly staff and honest doctor (tough to find) and was able to get an appointment same day. Procedure was almost painless (even the novocaine shot didn’t hurt). Highly recommend.

So first time ever getting a root canal and from the stories from my friends I was not sure what to expect. I grew up in and out o the hospital due to my mothers battle with cancer so I know excellent medical service when I see it. This was beyond 5 stars. I can’t completely explain it in words but I just knew right when I walked in and sat down in the chair I knew I was being treated by one of the best Endodontist in town. His staff was extremely professional and you can sense the chemistry amongst one another. I hope I never have to go get another root canal again, but if I do I know I’ll be in excellent hands!

Good bedside manner, I like that he was honest with me about how badly I really needed the root canal (turns out I wouldn’t die without it). Can’t review his work since the second he told me I really didn’t need a Root Canal, I was outta there like a bat out of hell.

After spending a sleepless night in lots of pain, I called my dentist and he referred me to Dr. Rezaei. I was nervous because of all the horror stories I’d heard about root canals. It seemed as if the pain intensified as I walked in his office. All I wanted was for Dr. Rezaei to put me out of my misery and he did. As soon as he gave me the anesthetic the pain was all gone. I was in and out within about one hour and that included the initial paperwork and consultation. He’s amazing!!! It was painless and quick. He’s that good! Not to mention he explained the options I had and his voice was so comforting. It’s the morning after. I have taken zero pain meds and I feel as if there was never a problem in my mouth. Thank goodness for great medicine and great doctors and thank you Dr. Rezaei!!! :)

I was referred to Dr. Rezaei from my dentist for a root canal. Unfortunately for me my insurance was used up for the entire the year. I had to pay for this out of my own pocket. It was a bit expensive but well worth it. Having to have a root canal is nothing you want to shop around for. This is a big procedure and you want the best regardless of cost.
The office staff was wonderful Priscilla was kind and very sweet and understanding of my payment needs. They allowed me to make payments on my root canal that suited my needs.
Dr. Rezaei’s assistant Raul was so funny and delightful. He made my sitting in the chair waiting a joy. He made me feel very comfortable while waiting for the Novocaine to work. We laughed and I felt very at ease thanks to Raul. What a delightful person he was! Thanks Raul for making me laugh and talking to me and making me feel at ease which is VERY important to me.
Dr. Rezaei was also very sensitive to my pain and needs and his disposition was very relaxed which made it very comfortable for me. He was very professional. His office was nice and I didn’t have to wait at all. I was taken in almost immediately after finishing the paperwork.
I was amazed at the fact that the root canal itself was painless. Of course I needed to be numbed but it was over and done with before I knew it. WOW! Thanks!

Dentist would have gotten 5 stars, because my root canal was easy and painless as a root canal should be. But I have to knock them down pretty hard due to their Accounting issues.
Only via my own accounting of my records did I notice they had «written off» a balance they owed me of over $ 100. They told me my insurance would only cover so much, so I owed $ 250. Ok, no problem, but then 10 days later I’m on the phone with my Ins. Company and they tell me they paid this office $ 150 of it. Yet I’m looking at a statement saying I have no credit due to me from the DDS office. Instead there is a «Misc Adjustment» for $ 150.
When I called this DDS office, they said they would reimburse me. I said, «yes but why did you „write off“ what you owed me?, as a Miscellaneous Adjustment in your favor?»
And she said something along the lines «oh well they don’t really balance those like that, but I’ll reimburse you»
I think it’s scandalous that they just tried to debit the amount they owed me from a statement by saying «misc adjustment» with no explanation. I wonder if they do that to all their customers, I mean she said «they don’t really watch that». Whether they reimburse or not, the fact that they «misc adjust» so that they can give a patient a statement showing no balance owed — when in fact the dds office owes the patient money — is just scandalous.
If the women on the phone had said it was a mistake, or that this never happens that would have been one thing. But she didn’t, she made it very clear to me that her Accounting team is ignoring when a patient has a credit with them. By the way… all of this was within 1 month or less, so it’s not like they had even tried to contact me, on the statement it’s almost immediate they do the misc/​adjust (date-​wise).

Went in over the past week to get three root canals — two lower canines and a lower second molar. Very bad shape. After having them prepped at my primary general dentist under IV Sedation, I came in to Dr. Rezaei’s office worried about once again having nothing but local anesthesia between me and a drill.
I was greeted by beautiful, sweet and kind assistants who assured me I had nothing to worry about, and sure enough I didn’t. Dr. Rezaei was patient, listened to my fears and specifics about what I still feel after being numbed, and went to work making that all a thing of the past. He is an expert at nerve blocks, and hit them all, and then followed those up by the extra anesthesia directly into the nerve cavity and once he did that, I was actually laughing at the sound of the files and drills thinking it sounded like he was building a house. First canine — in and out in what seemed like no time.
Same thing on the second and longer visit today for the other canine and molar. Hit the nerve blocks perfectly, didn’t feel the little bit of drilling, he didn’t go wild with the drill either, and they were done so effortlessly I told him the truth, which is that I was falling asleep in the chair.
Trust me. I’ve been deathly afraid of the dentist since I was 3. I am 40 now. All I needed was one single positive experience to end this lifetime of fear, and I’ve had it here with Dr. Rezaei. He has a customer for life, and I will refer everybody I know to his care.
Dr. Rezaei does root canals LIKE A BOSS! I came straight from his office to work and to tell you the truth, the day went downhill when I did!

Dentist with a Heart of Gold
My dad had to undergo emergency heart surgery last October. He had some dental work that needed to be done IMMEDIATELY before they would perform the heart surgery.
I called Dr. Rezaei and explained my dad’s situation and I wasn’t even sure he was on my father’s plan. Dr. Rezaei understood the urgency of the situation and told me not to even worry about the insurance. He saw my father immediately and performed root canals. (My dad said this was the first dentist he had been to without experiencing any pain). Dr Rezaei arranged an appointment with another dental surgeon to complete the dental work that was required. This was all done within 2 weeks of my initial phone call to Dr. Rezaei. Anyone trying to schedule dental work knows this is impossible.
Dr. Rezaei treated my father like he was his own. I am very grateful to him.
(BTW my dad’s surgery performed by Dr. Alfredo Trento was a success)
