Absolutely a wonderful experience! Everyone here is so nice and pleasant. Great facility and very clean. My first time feeling like a doctor really cared about me, and not just the bill. Would recommend to anyone!

Fantastic Doctor! The reviews for Dr. Said were dead on. I have found my ENT Doctor! I highly recommend.

Dr. Said has been my ENT for a little over a year now. Since coming to California from the east coast I have suffered from allergies and chronic congestion along with the occasional sinus infection. Recently, Dr. Said performed a septoplasty and turbinate reduction in order to help my breathing. 4 weeks later and I am breathing perfectly – better than I did before moving to California! The fact that my recovery went so well is a testament to Dr. Said’s skill and experience with this surgery: I was using Afrin daily which is known to cause complications and extended recovery times for this procedure. I feel his experience with this surgery and knowledge of my personal medical history helped avoid these complications. I would highly recommend Dr. Said for anyone contemplating this nasal surgery and for anyone looking for a good ENT.

I was so miserable, 8 months pregnant, had been in a lot of pain and partially deaf, couldnt hear at all one from my right ear, was dizzy and feeling like I was constantly going to faint, it was horrible. Dr Bassem immediately knew what the issue was and I wa so extremely happy and greatful, especially after being misdiagnosed twice elsewhere. I felt immediate relief and within a week my hearing was almost completely back. He is amazing!

I took my mother for an ear cleaning, after cleaning her ear Dr. Said started poking her nose which previously had a cist and had been drained. He poked her many times unable to get anything out except lot of blood, he then went from the inside her mouth and almost made her scream from pain. He didn’t use any type of anesthesia and my mother was in a lot of pain but he says it’s almost done. I guess he was saving on his anesthetic meds. We left the office and the next day half of my mother’s face was bruised. We had to leave to Los Angeles for a family emergency and during our stay there her face got swollen and her nose shifted to the right basically she was deformed.
Back from Los Angeles I made an appointment and scheduled her for 4pm. The day of her appointment a staff member called and said Dr. Said can’t make it at 4pm, can you come in at 12pm. I accepted even though I had no babysitter for my 2 year old at 12pm.
Once at the Doctor’s office I let the receptionist know that I had scheduled my babysitter for 4 and she couldn’t make it at 12pm. She said just take him inside. She was rude and didn’t even apologize for changing the schedule on us at the last minute.
Once we got to see the doctor he had one of the worst attitude I’ve experienced from a doctor. Horrible bed side manners and almost insulting. As if he knew he missed up and wanted to retaliate in advance.
I explained to him what had happened and he barely looked at my mother’s face, didn’t even bother looking inside the mouth where there was a big sore area as a result of his needles. When I asked him why she was so deformed he was very rude and started talking about surgery to remove whatever he had created there. Of course he wanted to do surgery so he could make some more money.
My mother refused surgery and his attitude was basically get out of my office.
I’m now taking her to other ENT doctors and also filing a complaint with the Medical Board of California. If my mother’s face remains deformed I will also pursue him legally. If anyone else had a similar experience please email me through Unilocal.
I usually do not write reviews and didn’t even had a Unilocal account but this is such a horrifying experience that I wanted to share it so it doesn’t happen to others.

I went to Dr. Said to get a second opinion about possible surgeries for my severe sleep apnea. After reviewing my recent sleep study, he said that the suggested surgeries by my other Dr. wouldn’t help my problem. I’m so grateful to Dr. Said for carefully explaining my other options before going ahead with unnecessary surgeries! Thank-​you Dr. Said !

I went with my parents to see Dr Said. We had scheduled appointment for my Dad who is 91 years young to have built up wax taken out of his ears, which this is common when you wear hearing aids. Anyways, Dr Said was very professional and personable. He also checked his throat and nose.
Office very clean, modern and parking was easy.
We only waitied a few minutes before we were taken back to exam room.
Will definitely go back.

My mother and I took my 90 year old grandmother with dementia to see Dr. Bassem Said. She had started having nose bleeds and was in the emergency room the day before. I do have to say that even though they were booked they did schedule my grandmother in between his other patients.
My grandmother’s nose had started to bleed in the car while we were going to his office but nothing like it had been. So when we walked into the office the front desk lady took us right into the room. About 10 minutes later Dr. Bassem Said, came in. We told him that the blood on her blouse was from the ride over here. And he said «IT LOOKS LIKE OLD DRY BLOOD»? My mother and I looked at each other in disbelieve.
Is he saying we got her dressed and put an old bloody blouse on her!!! He then said «well she’s not bleeding now, not sure what you want me to do» I said can you look inside her nose and try to find the problem? So he did «nothing he said» He then said he could do one of two things.
1. Send us home with spray OR
2. Put a pack inside her nose just in case it starts again.
We asked him what he would do. He said the pack. So we agreed. As soon as he started to put it in her nose it was like turning on a water faucet. My grandmother started choking on her own blood and he was telling her in a loud voice «be still or I can’t do this» over and over again. My grandmother is crying and in a lot of pain as he is shoving things in her nose.
I had to grab her teeth out of her mouth because they were now swimming in her blood. As she is still bleeding, he walks out of the room (not saying a word to us) he comes back with one of his staff who just stood there. He finally gets two packs in her right nose and one in the left. As there is blood everywhere he says «you can take her to the emergency room if we want»! WHAT!!!
We are now wheeling my grandmother out of his office in her wheelchair trying to clean her up at the same time. When we get to the parking lot of his office, she is really choking she says «she can’t breathe». I called 911 from his parking lot.
When the Fire Dept and the ambulance got there, they asked «Where is the doctor»? And «Why didn’t he call us»? You can imagine what I said about him @#!%!
They got my grandmother in the ambulance and she was still choking they could see, that the packing he put in her nose had slipped into her throat and she was choking on it. My mother ran inside told the doctor and he came out and took some of the air out of the packing pulled it from her throat and re-​taped it and left.
When we got to John Muir Hospital another ENT doctor had to take the packing out and put in better/​safer ones.
I would not recommend Dr. Bassem Said to anyone. Thank you for reading my review. I hope that you make the best decisions for your own heath care.

We came into your office for a severe nose bleed and left in ambulance, in crisis. The packing /​nose plug that you have had years of experience and training putting in. Had gone into my grandmother’s throat and was choking her. And you say «I am happy to say that I was able to meet this objective on that day.» Well what do you do for an encore? My god! I hope you would not treat your grandmother or anyone else like this. The only impression I came away with. Was a sick feeling in my stomach, watching my grandmother gasping for air.

Went to see him for a second opinion. First impression of the office itself was nice. Modern, clean, easy to access. The front office staffer was polite, professional and even offered a toy for my daughter to play with while I filled out paperwork. The pt rooms are also nice. Very clean in appearance and spacious but efficient in layout. Dr Said himself was very polite. He actually put some mental energy into helping me resolve my issue, which i appreciated greatly. I left feeling very satisifed with my treatment and confident in his desire to get me back to my desired quality of daily living. Wishing I had been able to see him first, then I wouldn’t even have been in this situation. I highly recommend him for any ENT issues!

This place is BEYOND a RIP OFF. Not only was my doctor over an hour late to see me but when I was finally taken back to the room I had to wait another 20 minutes. He put a machine up to my ear for about 2 minutes and stated the obvious. His office lost my insurance claim so I had to come out of pocket for over $ 300 for NOTHING! Thanks a lot Dr Said, you’re a joke and shouldn’t be practicing.
