History

Established in 2008.

Scoops Play n Café is the brainchild of husband and wife team, Rose and Al Necor, in collaboration with their 16 year old daughter, Jessica, Rose’s brother, Michael, as the architect and his wife, Judith, as the interior’s consultant and the added inspiration of their other four children, William, Isabella, Alessandra and Lorenzo.

As a result of careful research about what the area did not have to offer, Scoops became the only café offering Sweet and Savory French Crepes, made fresh, for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner. It is the first to offer 24 flavors of delectable Gelato and Sorbetto, plus Bubble Teas, Organic and Fair Trade Espresso and other specialty beverages.

Being a Montessori pre-​school teacher helped Rose shape the Play Area called Aly’s Alley, which caters to infants and toddlers from ages 0 to 6, where parents can lounge and relax while their little ones are busily engaged in age appropriate play in a clean and safe environment.
