History

Established in 1998.

The Shutter Doctor’s roots trace back to 1979, when Designer’s Service was established to assist designers, decorators, builders and architects with the design and installation of custom plantation shutters. Through the years we have designed and installed over 40,000 custom shutters. In 1996, I began thinking about the many shutters, I and the many talented installers in the industry, have installed, and decided to forcus our attention to the service and repair of existing shutters.

Our ever expanding growth is due to the many referrals we receive from shutter manufacturers, shutter retailers, and the many thousands of satisfied customers.

Our goal is to provide expert shutter repair service, in a prompt manner, at a reasonable price.

Jon has been involved in the shutter industry since 1979 and has extensive experience in all facets of the plantation shutter business from measuring and installing, to design and layout, to all aspects of repair and manufacturing. He has been involved in all levels of the shutter business and strives for complete and total customer satisfaction.
