Girl Friday got its start when owner, Catherine Howland, needed help with pet sitting in her area but couldn’t find anyone who provided the type of of pet sitting she preferred.
An avid animal lover super protective of her own pets, Catherine vowed that when she was finally in a position to offer this service to others, she would. So her business was born.
«I started my business because I want to help others in the same situation I found myself in; because nobody was available to help me, and I wanted to create that niche. My specialty is pet sitting & dog walking. My ideal client is one who appreciates the value in my personalized pet service.
«Many people love their pets, but have to leave them for long periods of time during the day, or they have to go away for the weekend. I come to your home and pet sit, walk your dog, feed and water your pets, play with them, clean up after them, and give them lots of attention. They love the individualized attention they receive.»

Catherine got the idea for Girl Friday Errand & Shopping Service when she needed in-home pet sitting for her pets, but could not find anyone in her area to accommodate her needs. When she was in a position to offer this incredibly caring, convenient service to others, she jumped at the chance.
