What a wonderful and fun filled experience we had for my son’s 4 th birthday for all the kids and adults alike. The staff was amazing, entertaining and very accommodating.

My 5 year old son had a blast and so did the adults :) What a great group of people (pirates) who run this operation and provide so much entertainment– especially for only $ 20! My son is already asking when we can go back.

A great value adventure for young children. Staff go above and beyond to create a memorable experience for all the kids on board. Highly recommend this fun voyage.

The crew was amazing– made it fun for kids and adults! Loved that everyone stuck with the theme and talked like pirates. Kids had a blast– kept all kids very engaged and ensured all kids got to participate. Overall an Amazing time and would definitely go again!

Loved this place! Super service and all the kids had a wonderful time! And the «play» on the boat was entertaining for adults top because the cast was funny. Would definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a unique birthday experience for your child. Even the party room is decorated with the whole pirate theme and didn’t need any additional decorations. Also loved that for $ 25 we were able to purchase an SD card of all the HD pics taken from the top of the mast using the ship’s HD camera. What a great surprise! It is expensive, but you do get what you pay for. Well worth it!

Worth every penny!
We had a marvelous birthday party for my child. The personnel was helpful and attentive.
The whole party consists of three parts:
1. The guests are gathering, hanging out; for the kids two «pirates» are painting tattoos and faces. There is also a warm up (instructional) part for children when they «learn» a pirate language.
2. Sailing. Amazing! Fun for kids, romantic for adults. The children are busy and being entertained by the crew every single minute. The grown ups are sitting relaxed and enjoy the ride. The theme music played as a background changes depending on the phase of the trip and creates the right mood.
3. Party room (should be purchased additionally or as part of the package): food is not included in any package, however the manager Jessica advised where to order pizza (do it in advance) and she helped serve the food and a birthday cake.
My concern was not having the «whole package», including the meal, at once. But it appeared not to be a problem.
A couple of words about the staff. This is a family business. The owners/​managers and the «pirate crew» are very attentive and productive. They actually play the roles of pirates, wear costumes, and entertain kids professionally, with the full energy. Before the party I was asked to email the kids’ names. At the party every child got a sticker/​name tag put on the t-​shirt: the child’s real name and the pirate nickname (very cool!). So every staff member knew and called every child by name. It’s very engaging, all the kids felt involved.
So I highly recommend Jersey Shore Pirates. We had an unforgettable party!

Great activity during nice summer day! Kids get dressed up and get tattooed. The staff is very friendly and pleasant. If you are looking for an earlier show even during the week I would recommend reserving in advance as seats sell out fast. The price is very reasonable, especially if you are coming from New York. Parking is available. I would recommend adding a trip to Point Pleasant as it’s only few minutes away. My son is 8 and it was ok, but younger kids were having a blast vs just a good time.

This was such a great experience for my son. It is 75+ minutes of pure interaction. From the moment you walk up to the desk to check in, you are greeted by the friendliest staff. Face painting/​tattoo and dress up options included. You can purchase an eyepatch $ 1, skull cap $ 5, telescope $ 4, and sword $ 4. All so reasonable to make the experience fun. If you have your own pirate gear, bring it along. But none of these items are needed to feel like a pirate and have a great time. The staff on the boat put on a great, they love their job, entertaining show and made sure every child on that boat was Involved. I wish I lived much closer because I would do this often. Everyone who works for this company enjoys doing it and it’s obvious. At the end of the trip don’t forget to tip the crew. They never once mention it or ask for it and you can miss this small tip jar if you are not looking for it. Not overly expensive and well worth every penny. Would love a birthday party here! Quite unique and interactive (the word is now misused for unreal games and comp apps). Not very expensive. Excellent staff makes the entire experience for kids memorable.
My 4 and 8 year old had a great time. They dress them up and do tattoos and all. The small boat ride in good weather is in itself pays for itself.

The trip was soo enjoyable a cute sail bit long 1 hour and the staff was soo sweet and pleasant. It was very relaxing and they like to engage the kids but without pressure. I really would recommend this don’t forget your sunscreen and bring your kids pirate stuff if you have but you don’t need it they have it as well.

This was a great way to spend an afternoon with the kids! My girls (5&7) loved this! From the minute we got to the pier, the staff was friendly and in character. All the kids got face paint or tattoos before they boarded the ship. My girls loved dressing up like pirates and learning how to «speak» pirate! The staff and crew made each kid feel special, calling each one by name– even though there was at least 25 onboard. Every child helped look for the treasure map and helped battle the «Stinky Pirate», before sharing the treasure! Can’t say enough about how much we enjoyed it. Tip: bring a sweatshirt, it can get chilly on the «high seas».

The kids had a great time. And the staff is awesome. The kids can’t wait to do it again.

Our granddaughter just turned 8 years old and enjoyed this adventure immensely. I’m not sure that would be true next year, but for children 3 – 8 years old, this will be a great treat. Every employee appears to love their job and it shows with the kindness and care in how they treat the kids. The cost is very reasonable for the enjoyment received, and their quick replies to email inquiries was appreciated. I would highly recommend this to all parents and grandparents looking for a two hour excursion. The restaurant located above their storefront was very good, also.

Such a great activity to do with the little ones. Jersey Shore Pirates was all about entertaining the kids, while the parents get to sit back and relax! Even though my 3 year old son is very reserved and did not want to participate, the staff made sure he was included in ways that made him feel comfortable. We really appreciated that because it’s easy to overlook the quiet kids. He loved shooting the «bad pirate» with the water cannons!

Even though my two-​year olds were too young to really enjoy or ‘get’ the adventure — it was still a blast from start to finish. The cast/​crew were all top-​notch with their energy and commitment, the story was well-​paced and interesting the entire time (what kid wouldn’t love to fire a water canon at an evil pirate?) and the bonus: perfect weather right as the sun was setting. Highly recommended if you have (not too) young ones.
