If any of the above describe you, you may be experiencing a serious mood or personality disorder. These conditions can develop over time or strike seemingly at random. There’s no shame in struggling under the oppressive clouds, however, if you need a helping hand to break through, we are here to help you.

A Different Approach to Mental Health:
Unlike other programs and practitioners, we don’t think there’s anything wrong with you. We won’t try to «fix» whatever coping mechanisms have helped you survive thus far.
Instead, we’ll work with you on a one-on-one basis to identify your underlying emotional issues and what makes you think you need help. Then we’ll work together to formulate a strategy of recovery. You might take therapy or begin participation in emotional outreach programs; you may or may not be offered medication.
The true purpose of our wellness service is to help you build the tools to deal with psychological setbacks, not throw a band-aid over them or drug them away. Only through understanding can we truly change ourselves. That’s the OCA motto…
