Pastries are delicious! My favorite has to be the cinnamon roll which is not too sweet and perfectly flaky. All the cashiers are super friendly and this location is usually less crowded than the hope st one. Sadly they don’t have wifi, so its not an optimal study spot even when there are plenty of tables open

I found this place on Groupon and decided to try it out. It’s located inside a strip mall and the place is rather small but its very cute. The décor is adorable and when we entered, everyone was very friendly. My friend and I shared the Peach Blossom tea & Caramel Red Apple tea. I am not a huge tea fan but it was pretty good. Then we shared a tier of a variety of desserts and sandwiches: cupcakes, cookies, dill sandwiches, tuna sandwiches, etc. I also got a Coconut Scone. The scone and the other desserts and sandwiches were all delicious! Without the groupon, we spent $ 53.00 which I guess isn’t too bad considering how much food we got so using the groupon which knocked down the price A LOT was a great deal. However, the unpleasant place of my experience was the server. She was very unfriendly and forgot pretty much everything. I understand having a bad day or having a lot on your mind and forgetting but there was no need for such an unpleasant attitude. I will definitely be back but I hope I get another server.

First visit was off a groupon. Amazing food & was a steal. Met the owners at the Farmers Market, great to know we are supporting a mom & pop shop with amazing food! We continue to go this wonderful family establishment. The small cakes are delicious, a favorite and their scones are diverse and are tasty. I never enjoyed a scone until I came to this shop & had the smores scone, mmmmm! I continue to go back and bring everyone I can. No one has left unhappy or hungry. Gem of a place!!!

We tried this with a groupon. We had breakfast, eggs Benedict, scones, and delicious Mango Ceylon tea. The atmosphere was very comfortable and we truly enjoyed the food. Scones were generously large. Well go there even without a groupon!

It’s a quaint little scone shop that’s oddly located in a little strip mall. The shop inside gives you a very warm and welcoming feeling. It really doesn’t feel like it belongs in that strip mall. Imho. The ladies who run the place are truly sweethearts. We decided on high tea. They ask you which scones you would like. So many to choose from and they’re all homemade. The consistency of their scone is biscuit like. A little on the dry side which is the correct way. Some of them have bits of fruit, some have poppy seeds and others are glazed. None are overly sweet they say. I tried the triple fruit scone and hubby ordered the cranberry with lemon scone. We shared both. The high noon tea offers each a teapot of your very own. I ordered a lemon and hubby ordered Asian Jasmine which is a light tea. I preferred a stronger lemon tea and our waitress was wonderful and exceptional considerate and brought out extra slices of lemon for me. There’s three tiers to high tea. The top tier came with desserts. Second was the sandwiches. The bottom held our scones. The finger sandwiches were ok. We found a few of their offerings to not be what they said it was but chicken, tuna, who cares. It was good. Their slice of ham with Brie and a slice of apple was good but I would have preferred the cheese to be more runny and at room temperature vs cold. This is my preference. The desserts are good. Thankfully we had everything chocolate vs what others had which was white chocolate or pumpkin. They did not ask us which one we would have preferred so we truly lucked out. It’s run by a three wonderful generations. Grandma, daughter and granddaughter. Way to go ladies! I wish you all the best and continued success.

This place is adorable! The tables are decorated with different pretty tea cups and your food is served on different fancy dishes. Chose one of the many flavored teas. There are lots of tasty, delicious menu items for breakfast or lunch. There is a counter filled with many assorted scones and more. They are so fresh and yummy. The crumb cake is to die for. The pancakes and French toast were delicious. Service was awesome. Loved coming here and I will be back! So different and impressive.

Took my sister here for her birthday, and it was the perfect choice! We got the«Scone Lady’s Tea,» which was tea and a trio of plates with different sandwiches, desserts, and of course, scones. Everything was incredible! And drinking out of the cute teacups that were all unique was great. I have been telling everyone in Brick how special this place is, and I hope to be back again soon! I’ve only been to the Brick location, and while the plaza is a very unexpected location for the shop, I do think that they benefit from a larger store and parking space for their customers. I also saw that they had a presence at the Windward Beach Farmer’s Market, and everything looked so tasty. This is a very unique place for the area, and one that should not be missed!

I LOVE The Scone Shoppe ! The scones are unique, and absolutely delicious. There is a grilled vegetable sandwich, called«the Karen«that quite literally seeped into my dreams. Every thing inside is lovely, and done«just so », down to the hand picked china and tea pot sets. It is a perfect spot for a catered event, and the owner is always there, ready to accommodate every thing you could ever need. The staff is attentive, friendly, and really efficient(even when it gets busy, or they have«off days«as one customer stated) The Scone Shoppe serves breakfast, and my little boy goes crazy over the strawberry nutella french toast. I have never had a bad experience, or even a single bad bite at this lovely restaurant. They also do really adorable events for kids, including special«Princess Tea’s «for girls. My son loves Olaf from Frozen, and he was recently there with Elsa for a special breakfast. It was wonderful !!! I gave a small bag of mini scones to each guest at a bridal shower recently, and was amazed at what a huge hit they were. The tea breads are also outstanding.

Finally a place to sit and talk and catch up with friends. This was my first time here and wasn’t aware that they were located in Pt. I love the fact the tea cups were all different on each table setting and décor was beautiful and love the fact that the pictures that were hanging were family. The owner’s are friendly and we were not pushed out after we were done with our breakfast. The tea was fabulous as well as the breakfast. I will be going back again

Good Afternoon! So I had lunch with a few of my girlfriends on a Tuesday afternoon and it was one of the greatest experiences by far. We each ordered something different to try a few of the items on the menu. I ordered the egg salad sandwich in particular, and it was excellent. The bread was fresh, as well as the egg salad. There was no extra mayo added which made my day. My friends had enjoyed the chicken salad and the quiche and loved their meals as well. We had many questions about the scone lady’s tea and the scones in general. Our server(Alissa) was very patient when answering the questions and very thorough. She explained that the scone lady’s tea had mini tea sandwiches and desserts as well as a scone and even gave us a useful opinion! She continuously checked up on our table and even offered us fresh water for our tea(which you don’t get that anywhere else). As an avid eater out, overall the food was delicious as well as the service. We all agreed that we would come back one afternoon and try the scone lady’s tea and will request Alissa for our outing.

I reviewed this place when it was at the other location in Point Pleasant and gave it 5 stars. However, I needed to explain why I am updating my review and taking away some stars. My mother and I went here(after much anticipation of seeing it being remodeled in the new location) for an auction event/afternoon tea. The place looks fabulous and I love the extra space and ample parking since its in the mall where Pathmark is located. Much better than the old location. The scones and sandwiches are still delicious. But unfortunately this place has left a bad taste in my mouth with customer service. It is true that the owner is sweet as pie, will go out of her way to make you happy. I can say this about other employees who I have interacted with at the old location. However, the day that I attended this party, we got to meet one of the owner’s daughters. Seemed very sweet herself, but towards the end of the party, I could tell she wasn’t having a good day. People are allowed to have their«off» days but as someone who works as a nurse(the epitome of customer service), I know that it should not interfere with my job performance. And for this chick, it did. In short– She was very condescending and passive aggressive. It is extremely hard to write about a passive aggressive interaction with another person since everything she did was with a smile. She basically disagreed with the choice of container that we wanted to take our single brownie home in. They ran out of small containers, not my problem. But my mother did not want to waste a meal size styrofoam container on a small square brownie. So the girl came to us with a to-go coffee cup and said that was all she had and firmly placed it on the table smiled and walked away. The mother comes by and addresses the container issue, changes the brownie to the bigger container and adds a scone to it so the brownie«doesn’t feel lonely». Very cute and sweet gesture, not what we wanted but we are not high maintenance people– we would have walked out with the brownie in tin foil, plastic Baggie etc. and been fine. So the mother walks away and is stopped by her daughter(who witnessed the exchange from a couple of feet away) and the girl just gives this look — like an «are you serious?» look. Right in front of us and other tables of customers. It doesn’t sound like much by reading this review(as I said, it’s really hard to detail this situation) but I can tell you that from now on, I will only be getting scones to go from this place. I even think if I walked in and saw this girl behind the counter, I would say«No thanks» and walk right back out the door! Such a shame, because it really is good food, but I don’t enjoy when someone treats me like a child or other inferior.

What a wonderful find! My mother had been to their old location and had been waiting for them to reopen but this was my first time their. The service was very good, it is family owned and operated(you can tell because they all looked like sisters, mother/daughter, cousins) which is really nice to see. I had the chicken salad on a croissant, it was great. My mom had the ham, brie and apple sandwich which was amazing as well. They had on special mac and cheese which was the best i have ever had! I really like that all the sandwiches come with a salad and not fries! We drank unsweetened pomegranite green tea which i loved. We did not have scones we were stuffed. My mother assured me they are delicious tho, they have like 20 different flavors.

I have been waiting for them to reopen! Scones are the best I have ever had. The staff is friendly and you are greeted like you are in their home. Daily specials are unique and fun. Teas are great my favorite is the pomegranate green tea. Love to go with my grandmother, it’s a fun experience. Haven’t seen a man in the place though it’s a little dainty.
