Commodore John Barry Bridge

It is a bridge.
It helped me to cross a river.
It did not collapse while I was on it.
It was free since I was going towards NJ.
It is nice to know that Commodore Barry is considered the father of the US Navy.
It is also nice to know that he is buried in Philadelphia.
That is all.

Lots of negative review for the Commodore Barry Bridge which was downgraded to the John Barry Bridge by some Delaware Port Authority genius. This bridge always seems traffic-​free when the Walt Whitman is packed with beach travelers or sports fans going to and from the stadia at Broad Street. You can get on at Kerlin St without even having to get on 95! They neighborhood is sketchy so be alert and don’t do anything stupid.

Yea, this is the step brother to the other bridges leading into Pa.
everytime i am on this bridge i get disgusted, it seems dull and dreary. 2 lanes sometimes 3. they can never make up their mind in how many lanes they want to open… they have no sense of judgement of what rush hour traffic is and how to optimise those lanes.
Going into Pa it leads you into chester and I 95 (N/​S) and it lovely surroundings (sarcasm), always makes me say wtf .
They do try to make it where they do get more drivers due to the new stadium where the Union play or they opened up Harrahs a few yrs ago. but who wants to drive through Chester .
They need to make this a different color than battleship grey. or depleated grey. add something to it, better lighting or yea i don’t know
