I love the food and the atmosphere here. Brings me right back to the island. The price is fair for delicious food as well! Try the beef stew and the chicken soup.

The food here is not that great. Compared to other Spanish restaurants in the area it is very low level and I wouldn’t recommend. What really gives this place a bad rating is the horrible/rude service. It’s as if you don’t speak Spanish you are a nuisance to the girls behind the counter. A little friendliness and courtesy go along way when someone is giving you their business. For that I give them 2 stars and would recommend trying one of the other Spanish spots in the area.

Authentic Puerto Rican food, it reminds me growing up in the island, smelling the food before even entering the place. Definitely recommend it place to eat. Clean & fast service. Not too much on parking spaces. Can’t wait to go back…

Delicious Spanish food and excellent coconut ice!!! Loved it! This app wants a larger review so I’ll say that me and two other people ate here and had ices for less than $ 20! And it was awesome.

BUENPROVECHO! Great place to get authentic Puerto Rican food. The yuca and chicken, tasted like grandma was in the kitchen cooking. All the food is made fresh and is SABROSO!(Delicious). El Coquito offers a variety of traditional rice, beans and meats. The meats can be chicken, pork or beef, all cooked a variety of ways. They also have meat patties, potato balls, which are all mouth watering and priced just right. Better get there early enough to avoid the lunch wave, as this place gets extremely busy. I was surprised on how popular this place was. After eating their food, I can understand why. Thumbs up. Not only is their food great, you must try the mouth watering«Limber de Coco», which is the most popular ice cream. If your not a fan of coconut, they offer other wonderful flavors, like cherry and lemon. Don’t let the area stop you from enjoying a taste of Puerto Rico… WEPA!

I live in California now, have been going there since I was a baby in the early 80s. Not just because of nostalgia, their helados are OFFTHEHOOK! Have had similar in Puerto Rico, NYC, and California, but this place is the BEST hands down. Especially coco in the coconut. SOGOOD. THEBEST ices… so creamy, so good. ENJOY!

Hot summer day? blistering heat? melting to the side walk? El Coquito is the place to be. They have the best frozen ice ranging from $ 1-$ 3. Great price!!! I love the Spanish flavored guyaba. I have tried almost all of the flavors and I love them all.

I vote for the Coco, passion fruit, pineapple, and especially the watermelon ice only a couple bucks for 2 scoops. I’m not sure about anything else but it.
