V’s Sandwich Construction and Fish & Chips

They recently changed their name to Mr. Sandwich. Went in there for a bacon, egg and cheese with a hashbrown. I waited about 15 minutes for them to make my sandwich, hashbrown tasted like fried fish and bacon was over cooked. I will never come back, over priced, slow and horrible food.

I really want this place to be good… This place has changed names 3 or 4 times. I actually sent a client there to grab lunch and he came back with Chinese food instead because it looked terrible

Great fish’n’chips… bummed out that they have just recently gone out of business.

I don’t recall how many times I’ve gone here since my last review, but the past time before we left for FL we finally got the fish and chips. In fact, we had only gone there to see about picking up some fresh mozzarella and ended up ordering food after sadly hearing they were out of some of the fresh products we wanted and didn’t carry others (but it was toward the end of the day at this point). The workers were so friendly in their recommending other establishments for the same items and had our food ready by the time we got back. I still haven’t found a place down here in Florida that had as good of fish and chips as V’s had up in CT. Next time we visit family we will be sure to stop in again.

Very disappointed went there the other day and new sign says they close at 4pm weekdays. I really wanted main port fish and chips from Don. :(

Love the chicken cutlet sub and so glad to see Mainport Fish and Chips lives on. Never a disappointment.
