I had my hair cut and colored by Ashley this week. What a great job she does. I couldn’t be happier with my hair or Ashley.

This review is about the spa part of the store. I have no experience with the salon.
I bought a groupon for a 60 minute deep-​tissue massage… first time I’ve ever gotten a massage (a few months ago). I called in because I was running 10 minutes late. The masseuse was kind, but she literally talked to me for the duration of the massage… which only lasted about 40 minutes because of the 10 minutes I was late and she cut it short to ensure the room was ready for the next client, who wasn’t even there by the time I left. Anyhow, the entire time this masseuse talked to me the entire time — about what you ask? About the devil being alive in people that are walking amongst us! Needless to say, I did not feel relaxed. Additionally, the deep tissue felt more like swedish. Definitely not the best experience here.

Don’t go to anyone unless it’s Kristine or Mikole. I’ve had really bad experiences here with others when I used to walk in but these two stylists are great and listen to what you really want!!!

As with any salon, I’m sure your experience is mainly based on your stylist. While the staff is extremely nice and accommodating, and the salon itself is nice, the haircut I received a few days ago is BY FAR the worst I’ve ever had.
Unless you have a regular stylist you know and are familiar with, do not be a «walk in» and take whomever they assign you to. My stylist was part-​time, and while nice, messed up what should be a relatively easy haircut.
I have medium length hair and asked for a trim with layers throughout. I always thought long hair is easy because it’s harder to see if it’s looks bad… I was wrong. The layers are so uneven and choppy I’m completely embarrassed to leave my hair down. The bottom is cut so bluntly with NO tapering at the end, it literally looks like someone grabbed it, made one chop at the bottom, and was done. The main face-​framing layers are cut so rough that it looks like a muffin-​top when they fall over the underneath longer layer. There shouldn’t even BE an «underneath» layer.
I never like criticizing someone’s work and was hoping it just needed a couple days to «settle» so I waited a couple days and washed it and blew it out… AND styled it with a straight iron. Nothing makes this look okay. I am going to be stuck in a pony tail until I can go for another cut once it grows out a bit… No way I’m going back to this place. Doesn’t matter how convenient a salon in the mall may be… I will NEVER get my hair cut there again.
The good side: I have had a mani/​pedi here before and have no complaints there. And again– everyone that works there is nice. My complaint is solely based on how bad my hair looks after getting it cut there this past weekend.

The service was excellent. I found them on Groupon with very good review .I got a mani pedi special. Their new pedicure chair is great! The staff are awesome ! Highly recommend to anyone seeking a truly outstanding experience.

I have mixed feelings about this place. The staff was very nice and the receptionist went out of her way to accommodate my booking a Saturday appointment for my daughter and myself with only two days’ notice. The woman who did our manicures was very nice and patient with my daughter, who was 9 and it was her first manicure.
But I felt like the quality of the manicures themselves was mediocre at best. I didn’t expect much with my daughter’s nails as they are short and she’s small. I don’t get my nails done often but the French manicure was already smudged an hour later (My hands were under the dryer for a LONG time) and all I did was walk around the mall. You also could see the difference in layers from between the first and second coats of polish. Now, 6 days later, several nails have chipped around the edges and it just looks terrible so I’m removing it.
Because of the staff and the prices seemed reasonable I might consider going again with a different person.

I have been going to Kristine for almost 3 years now and she is talented and awesome — I totally recommend booking her!

Ehh, in a pinch, I guess its good.
I am on business and needed to get my eyebrows done because I straight up looked like a wolf. It was getting bad.
I walked in and the receptionist was an airhead. She asked me if I wanted to get threaded or waxed. I asked for wax and then she told me that no one was there to do that. So okay. I asked her how it was to get threaded and she told me how amazing it is and that it hurts but not too bad and that the woman will shape them and color them in if needbe. For $ 10, I thought this was a steal.
So I walk back and sit there to get threaded. The woman was nice but she did not shape my eyebrows whatsoever. No shape at all– at least not new shape. And the whole time she was telling me how she is the best in the business and its too bad that I dont live here so I can see her all of the time. She was dead serious. So it was awkward.
I looked at prices just for a pedicure, because who couldnt go for a pedicure?!, 35 $ for the most basic?! I’ll pass.

I have been seeing kristine for my hair for the past two years. She is an amazing conceptual stylist! She knows hair she knows color she knows what works and will work once you walk out of the salon. That is the most important part, after all! Fabulous work Kristine!

I wouldn’t be coming to this salon if it wasn’t for Kristine! She does an amazing job with my highlights. I am a natural dark blonde but I like to get some highlights to brighten my hair. Kristine knows exactly what to do and what looks good on you. My highlights look great and natural every time :)

I live in NY and will be moving to the area in a few months so I was in search of a new salon. After reading reviews regarding the hair stylist I decided to buy a groupon for a cut style and blow. I arrived right on time and nervous to be going someplace I do not know. John was ready for me right away and did a great job. What a relief! Now I know where and to who I will be going to once I move.

I had a really good experience at Splash Salon. John was my stylist and he did a great job on my haircut. He is so friendly, listened to what I wanted and took his time. I will definitely go back to him! The cost is reasonable too. $ 45 for a woman’s haircut.

The master stylists are excellent and worth the price! I tried out another place in between because I got a good deal but they did an awful job. love this place!

I bought a Groupon for a massage and I was not disappointed! Edith was amazing! She focused on all the areas I told her I was having issues with. The only negative thing I would say is that you can hear everything that is going on outside in the salon during your massage. Also when I checked in the girl was kind of rude. I would definitely recommend Edith! I felt so good when I walked out of there!

Splash salon and spa is my favorite stop for any hair treatment and massage. Their staff is very professional and dedicated. They provide personalised service and make us feel very comfortable. My daughter just loves to go here for a hair cut.

I tried this place twice with Groupons. The first time was about 2 years ago for a mani-​pedi with my friend. It was nothing exceptional. very basic. I saw Groupons pop up last winter for a massage and it is near my office so I thought to give it a try. They were so booked in advance, it was about a 3 month wait. So I took it. Meanwhile I saw the Sea Spa mani-​pedi groupon pop up and thought I’d make a day of it. They called and cancelled because the masseuse was sick. So that put me back on the wait list till June. So about 6 months I waited for the appt. The girls were very nice and friendly. The service was just average. The next morning my manicure started peeling off and I’m noticing my feet still rough and nails not smooth.

I came here due to what I thought was a great groupon deal: $ 35 for a sea spa manicure and hot spa pedicure. It was very disappointing. There was no massage of hands or feet. No moisturizer even used. The pedicure chairs did not even massage. I’m not sure what part was the sea spa… And if you consider the hot water standard in all pedicures, then I guess it was a ‘hot spa’.
They do not allow cell phones, which I can understand for phone calls, but I came to relax… I was planning on watching a show on my phone while I was ‘pampered’, since this is MY time just for ME. Even brought some tea but was not allowed to enjoy it.
As much as I like chit chat, I now had no choice but to converse with my manicurist whose choice of topics were unsavory and frankly became homophobic at the end.
I would not recommend this place and am rather disappointed that I bought two groupons thinking it was a great deal. I might let it expire and see if I can use the paid value for just a hair cut.

For hair: I walked into this place when I was shopping at the mall. I knew it was there and checked it out here on Unilocal before I went, but I was surprised at how great it was. I’ve had the same stylist for years but they’re an hour away at this point. Here, Christine was my stylist — she’s a master stylist and the most expensive — but it was worth it. I had a cut and single process color for $ 135.
I’m converted and don’t have to go all the way to North Jersey anymore. Yay!

Let me start by saying that if not for the friendly staff and the manager Carlos, I would have given this place –2 stars! I bought a Groupon for a mani-​pedi, and I probably would have been better off soaking my feet at home and letting my 7 year old do my cuticles and paint my nails! The mani-​pedi was not relaxing, and the service was just BLAH — nothing exciting or wonderful — and DEFINITELY NOT WORTH THE MONEY! This place wasn’t worth the 10 minute drive! After a horrible mani-​pedi on one day, I was asked to come back the next day for them to fix it. Although the next day’s nail technician was much better, my polish was peeling within 12 hours of my salon visit! 12 hours! Needless to say, I was STEAMED! I was going to call the manager again, but decided that it didn’t matter. Upon inspection, I realized that their main problem is inferior products. All of the «spa» products is crap you can buy at your local Walmart. When I get a mani-​pedi, I’m used to spas using top-​of-​the-​line products and «A-​game» technicians. This place uses neither — although my second technician was EONS better than the first!
I would not recommend this place to ANYONE! For the prices they have, you can find way better places in the area. I am new to this area, so I’ve been trying lots of places to see which will be my new mani-​pedi spot — this one doesn’t come close! Groupon or not, I definitely advise to STAY AWAY!!!

I’ve been here 4 times, once for a Mani-​pedi and three times for a facial/​microdermabrasion.
I will start by saying that the staff are very kind and hospitable. I really enjoyed my facial, the ambiance in the spa room was calming/​relaxing, as it should be. I received very gentle treatment.
The Mani-​pedi in comparison was completely average. The girl who performed it didn’t really go out of her way to make me feel comfortable or enjoy the experience. It wasnt particularly bad, she just wasnt very friendly and I wouldn’t come back here for one.
