Classic Catering recently (4÷30÷16) catered our wedding. First and foremost, over the course of the planning process, Classic Catering became the «yes people». I coined this term for them because no matter what task I brought to them; their answer was always yes. Anything from asking them to moving copious amounts of furniture and items throughout the venue, all the way to asking them to cater our wedding inside of 90 days.
Aside from being logistical wizards, Classic’s food was literally some of the best food i have ever had at a wedding. I may be biased, but our ruthless guests most certainly were not. Even these heathens all said that it was the best food they have ever had at a wedding. we did family style fare, with appetizers added on, and rented various items through them as well. These guys are no joke!
Lastly, i feel obligated to speak about how easy Classic was to deal with when it came time to talk money. They bent over backwards to make us happy when it came to price, and were understanding whenever we came to them with a concern! we will be recommending anyone we see to Classic Catering. Thanks again for making our wedding amazing!

I needed desserts and staff for a memorial service. They made wonderful desserts and the two ladies set up their food and arranged what we brought and helped with everything at the reception. People loved talking to the ladies. Just the type to have at a memorial service-​very personable. Just don’t order punch. It’s $ 2 per serving and you can mix it yourself for far less. Or just order far less than you are feeding.

What a waste of money for a rehearsal dinner, which is typically considered the kick-​off to a special occasion.

Classic Catering & Events is the best! Truly, from the moment my fiancé and I had out first meeting with Cheri, we loved them. First of all the food is amazing. My guests at my wedding loved everything. There wasn’t one complaint from my family, which is saying a lot. The entire serving staff was incredibly efficient, friendly, and helpful. They all looked and acted professionally. They coordinated all the food, baked goods, and rental items. The communication was fantastic. My every request was honored. I could tell through their wonderful service that their primary goal was to make my event the best it could have possibly have been. All the rental items were in excellent shape. Everything was clean and in excellent repair. There is a reason they are on the top of most of the preferred venue listings in the South Western Michigan area. I can’t possibly say enough about their outstanding service and terrific staff.

We used Classic Catering and Events for our wedding in Michigan City. From start to finish the experience was more than we had hoped for. We went in once for a group tasting, which was so elaborate and had too many dishes than we could try. After we had decided to use Classic Catering, we went in for another private tasting to help decide which menu items to choose. At the private tasting the chef was on hand to answer any questions regarding ingredients, presentation, dietary requirements, etc. All the food we tried was fantastic. They were very flexible in allowing us vegetarian options. The menu plan we chose allowed for two entrees. We chose two meat entrees and they provided a vegetarian option but did not charge extra.
Cheri was amazingly helpful and flexible, and made the whole process a breeze. Plus, they were able to provide tents, portable bathrooms (the wedding was outside in a garden), decorations, fans, tables, chairs, etc.

They did a great job with our specific wedding rentals. We got a 40×80′ white tent and various tables, linens and a bar. The cost was the least expensive from all the advertised rental companies in the area. They were helpful and patient although i was so indecisive and ended up changing our order several times. The tent was erected in a little over an hour and they put it up on thurs and didn’t take it down until monday. This gave us shelter to set up and tear down all the reception décor. Very convenient in case of unpredictable weather. We enjoyed working with them and would recommend them to other budget conscious brides.
