Brighton Modern Dentistry and Orthodontics

If you go here– I feel like you are in safe hands. The staff is funny, friendly and professional. They did an exam for me and were able to fit me in to do a cleaning and get me out and on my way.
Ashley was my dental hygienist. She is hilarious and we had a lot of fun together. She fast and OCD about doing a very good job on making sure your teeth are cleaned and free of plaque.
There was a funny moment when she asked me to lean towards her but she meant to turn my head towards her more. It probably looked like I was trying to chest bump with her! Hahahaha
Juan– the male dental assistant is also super fun and great! We had a few laughs and he made taking X-​rays easy.
As a person who has had bad experiences with dental offices and complications with a root canal, etc, you won’t have any reason to feel nervous here. They will take great care of you! :)

I cannot rave about this place enough! I have had such terrible experiences with dentists in the past; I addressed this with them and they were SO amazing with me and took their time to make sure that I was comfortable and all reassured me that i was doing well.
The Dentist Assistants are amazing as well. I laugh because one knew of my fear and she was afraid to tell me that during my cleaning (we found I needed a tooth pulled now due to pain) that she didn’t want to break the bad news that I couldn’t have the laughing gas. It was nice of her to take into consideration my fears and through the procedure she held made sure I was relaxed and rubbed my arm to reassure me that I was doing okay. That to me is personal touches that make you feel like you are in good hands. I never feel judged by any of the staff there.
The 1^st dentist was amazing but he moved on and I was very scared of seeing a new one not knowing my issues from the past. But, he made sure that I was never in any pain and took his time.
The hygienists kept me calm and laughing at the same time during my procedure. She made sure that i was comfortable through it all.
I walk out each and every time knowing that I was cared for. I have lots more work to be done but I don’t dread going anymore like I used to with other dentists.
Heather is always nice and greets you with a smile (no matter how busy she is).

My husband used them and this is why I came here and they worked really hard to get the work done before he had to leave. Heather went above and beyond to workout payments for him as well.

I had a great experience from the moment I walked in the door. Front desk staff was friendly. The dental assistant was great. The dentist did a great job explaining procedures as he went and also did the teeth cleaning as a dental hygienist was not there that day. I was informed of all pricing before anything was done and before I paid anything. This is very important to me as I don’t have dental insurance. All of the staff I came in contact with treated my like a person and not just a patient. I would recommend this office to anyone in need of good dental care.

Really like this place and all of the people there. Easy to schedule, very friendly, super clean and organized. We go there for ourselves and our kids, and we have had nothing but positive experiences.
We have had simple cleanings, fillings and even a crown done. They were fast, considerate and professional. On the kids’ side, they have big screen televisions for the kiddos to watch a movie while they work.
Highly recommend!

Dr. Adam Wrobel made my week!

I was very distraught when I arrived at Brighton Modern Dentistry.
I came in with two missing temporary crowns, placed on by another doctor, and I was in a complete panic, as they were on my front teeth, were horrible looking, and painful as well.

The temporary crowns, made by the other doctor, had come off 6 times, and I stuck them back on with the temporary dental cement available at the drug store. The temporary crowns eventually fell off, and I crunched them by accident, while eating. Now I was left with two shattered, missing, temporary crowns, and looked like a Waffle House waitress.

Dr. Wrobel took me at the end of the day, after his hours, and on Friday afternoon, no less! He worked quickly and efficiently, was polite, and reassuring.
The front desk staff and the medical assistant were very polite, professional, and cheerful.

I have to say, the temporary crowns he put on, fabricated from scratch (he didn’t have the former impressions taken by the other doctor) look amazing! –even better than my natural teeth looked!

He only charged me for his time, and didn’t even charge me for fabricating the crowns or the materials.

I am very pleased, as I tentatively await my permanent crowns from the other Doctor. I am nervous as to how they will look, but if the permanent crowns are botched by the other doctor, I will return to Dr. Wrobel and start over with new crowns.
I am planning to switch to Dr. Wrobel for my semi-​annual exam.

I highly recommend Dr. Wrobel, can’t sing enough praises for the customer serviceI received, and the job extraordinarily well done!

I absolutely adore Dr. Goldberg and her entire staff at My Kids Dentist at Brighton Modern Dentistry. In an effort to find a dentist which is comfortable, affordable, and friendly, I have taken my family to several different dentists over the past few years. While most were competent enough, we had never found a dentist’s office that provided an entire EXPERIENCE prior to Dr. Goldberg. The office is modern and clean, and it offers kids a comfortable and happy environment for regular checkups and dental work. The exam rooms are immaculate, and each offers a television mounted either in the ceiling above the chair, or somewhere else where it can be easily seen. Children are offered cool sunglasses during their exam to keep the lights from shining directly in their eyes, and they are able to become engrossed in a movie while the dentist performs her work. Dr. Goldberg is extremely personable and likable, which makes it far easier to encourage my kids to engage in good dental hygiene and keeps them excited about going to the dentist. My two younger children have required a considerable amount of dental work, which would frighten most children. However, Dr. Goldberg creates an environment which is both innovative and fun for my kids. They aren’t afraid, even when they need some major work done. They are rewarded for their bravery when they are finished with a coin for a machine where they can pick out fun toys, and on several occasions have also been given balloon animals which are created on the spot. They work with patients to make the work affordable through several different payment plan options so even very costly procedures or appliances can be made affordable. My youngest son is 7, and is a thumb sucker – a habit we have diligently been trying to break for several years now. Dr. Goldberg offers a few different appliances which can be placed in the mouth to help stop the behavior. And while none of them are covered by my insurance and are costly, the office offered different payment options to be able to have an appliance made to stop the thumb sucking. It is working very well, and is also helping to correct the «hole» left in my son’s smile from putting his thumb in his mouth.
My daughter is scheduled for some major dental work which requires anesthesia next month. She is only three, which can make the type of work she needs done a bit daunting. However, Dr. Goldberg has created such a caring and inviting environment for my daughter that she isn’t afraid to have the work done.
As a mom of three children, it can be difficult to get them to follow a good oral hygiene routine. My biggest fear, when bringing my children in for the first time, was that I would be judged for my children’s cavities and somewhat questionable oral health. While I am fairly diligent regarding making my children brush regularly, I didn’t always follow through to insure they were doing a sufficient job at brushing. To make matters worse, my daughter was a «binky baby» who would drink milk before bed and then pop her pacifier into her mouth. Milk would be trapped in her upper lip against her front teeth. While I have always been adamant against letting any of my children (particularly when they were smaller) bring a bottle or sippy cup to bed for fear of tooth decay, my daughter still suffered the consequences because of her pacifier habit. We have since abandoned the use of the pacifier (almost a year ago); however, her front teeth have large cavities as a result. I was afraid of being judged when I first brought my kids there, but that fear was for naught. I was never made to feel like I was doing a bad job, or as though I had failed my child and ruined her smile for good.
I realize this review is rather lengthy, but I wanted to sing the praises of Dr. Goldberg and the staff at Brighton Modern Dentistry. I will continue to bring my children to Dr. Goldberg for the foreseeable future, and all three of my kids look forward to their next visits to the dentist!

This office was able to fit me in a day after I called (and a day before my wedding!) for a cleaning. On top of that, they were willing and able to squeeze me in for a whitening! They really went out of their way to get me in there and all fixed up! I was a little sore afterwards, but I have sensitive teeth, so it could be me.
Edit: Not as delighted when I last had several fillings done. The procedure was very rough and I had a great deal of pain for the following week. I also did not appreciate the ‘cute’ remarks the dentist made when I winced in pain: «This is hard for me, too.» Really.
