Johnson’s Acres is a grass-​fed, raw milk dairy. We offer year-​round raw milk cow shares from our Jersey and Holstein cows. We also sell pastured chicken eggs, cream, whey, and grass-​fed beef (limited supply). Cows are on the pasture year-​round and we supplement with non-​GMO, local hay. We don’t use hormones and only use antibiotics in life-​saving conditions. Every cow has a name and her own personality.

We have 11 Raw Milk distribution points in the Denver area, and you can also pick-​up milk at our farm in Brighton at Highway 7 and I-​25. See our website for driving directions and delivery locations.

History

Established in 2005.

Johnson’s Acres is a raw milk dairy that was founded by the Johnson family, in the quest for healthier food for their family. They started with one cow which was just intended to feed their family. They soon found that they had more milk than they needed so they started offering cow shares. Then, they found that they had more customers than milk so they added cows. There are now 14 milk producing cows on the farm.

Kenny has lived at the farm since his father built the house when Kenny was 5. Kenny loves the cows and treats them with respect. One cow, Clouds, will not leave the milking barn until Kenny kisses her on the nose!
