We had a Hindu-​Jewish fusion wedding, and Shruti and her crew went the whole nine yards and beyond to make everything perfect for every event we had over the weekend. The décor, the lighting, the colors, the designs — all top-​notch. Since we had many people from different backgrounds attend our wedding, LoveDecore catered to our interests and likes, as well as everyone else’s. We hired the ambitious and creative team at LoveDecor to help style and decorate our Indian/​American modern fusion wedding. We got married in Newport, RI on August 1^st weekend and the weather was absolutely gorgeous — we did all outside events Friday and Saturday. For Friday, we did a white themed outdoor party on the lawn of the Eisenhower House. It had a huge lawn and wonderful outdoor space. The team was able to decorate with white drapes what would’ve otherwise been drab, boring table and chair sets. Made them look much more elegant. Then they also helped decorate and set up our stations, the music and band setup and our lawn game areas for all our guests to enjoy. The pictures came out so great, proof this team was successful.
For Saturday we wanted a bright, very colorful Indian Hindu ceremony outside along the water. The team, honestly, blew out expectations out of the water! They were able to use a combination of bright flower petals with elephant statues along the entrance way and aisle to the most amazing Mandap I’ve ever seen. They helped us custom order the mandap from India, they had it shipped, they got it through customs, and got it setup so beautifully on the day off. They used colorful drapes and floral combinations along the columns and across the dome top. It was magnificent. They also helped add accent pieces through the ceremony, nice little touches like color coordinated umbrellas to block the hot sun, that matched the flowers and mandap, and decorated around the piano player we hired to play the ceremony.
Overall — the entire experience working with the team from Love Décor was a joy. And that’s not an easy thing to say given the intensity and emotions that go into planning a wedding. They took so much extra time out of their schedules early on in the planning phase to make sure everything was what we wanted, share ideas on things we could consider to lower costs, and had such a collaborative, enjoyable approach to engaging with us. What a delight. Highly recommended if you want people who care about you, your event, and your memories.
