Pooch Potty Breaks

I found Rachel on Angie’s list and was relieved to see she does «emergency services» which is what we needed. I contacted Rachel out of desperation; our 6 month old puppy had just been neutered and was unable to go to daycare as normal. I prepared to take a week off with him but my vet unexpectedly said it would be 2 full weeks before he could return to day care due to rough play and suggested a dog walker for the second week instead. I explained the situation to Rachel as well as the fact that my husband and I rearranged our schedules to be home with our dog Tuesday Thursday and Friday of that second week and that we only needed Monday and Wednesday brief visits to get our healing puppy out of his cage where he would be for 12 hours each day. Rachel responded with the following:
«Thanks for getting in touch with me. Unfortunately, I will not be able to walk your puppy next week. Best of luck.»
Clearly this woman does not stand behind her own description of her business as an «animal lover» or a reliable person when you have an emergency as her profile says. I would not give this woman a key to my house or trust her with my fur babies.
Ps we also live in Brighton, right up the street from where she’s listed. So no, distance was not a factor.

I recently used Pooch Potty Breaks to take care of my furbaby, Earl. Rachel was so accommodating taking care of my kitty very last minute. She sent updates, left detailed report cards each visit and responded to all my crazy emails while I was away! When I returned Earl was very happy and healthy!
