Tasca is authentic Spanish food .The paella and other entrees reflect the cuisine of Spain. Great wine list, sangrias. the flan is to die for the same as I had in Spain ! Great location too

This place is incredible, the food is amazing and leaves you feeling amazing, not too full or not too hungry. I love the atmosphere and the service is great. Definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for something cozy and delicious!

The duck confit is a must-​try tapa. It was simply amazing. Otherwise, food here is only mediocre. Ordered the paella and it’s a little disappointing. I guess my expectations are high after tasting the one at Barcelona Brookline. Nothing else compares. Tiramisu, however, is one of the best I’ve had and you can get one for free if you check-​in on Unilocal

The tapas are insanely delicious and very reasonably priced. Ask about their sangria specials and you can get a pretty good deal on a pitcher. Enter their emailing list and you will win a $ 10 coupon every so often. There’s always something new to try and whatever you choose will not let you down.

Amazing tapas. It’s bold of me to say, but I honk the food is better than at Barcelona Brookline (and Back Bay). The only downfall is that I would have liked to enjoy my pomegranate rose sangria pitcher outside rather than inside. Literally the only thing about this place I don’t like is that they don’t have a patio.
The lobster croquettes and mussels were my favorite. The mussels were a pretty big portion, so you could definitely share with a couple people. I think the key is to have 2 – 4 people splitting the plates total. Many seem like they were meant for just 2 though. The empanadas are excellent as well. They often have empanada specials too. Try the smoked salmon with potato pancake. It’s like eating potato sticks and lox.
The dessert menu is pretty great. We got the bread pudding, which was a huge hunk of moist, custardy cake drizzled in caramel and topped with whipped cream and fresh mint.

Not sure about the quality of the food I had here. I lived in Spain and tried out many many local Spanish restaurants for a semester and found that food here was nowhere close to the authentic Spanish food experience. I felt that Some dishes we had here tasted very (rough)Spanish, others were not even close to being Spanish. The white sangria was literally juice; didn’t taste fruity nor alcoholic. We also had a rose wine which was good.
Gamba al ajillo– it was the most popular dish here. Yes, it was good. Recommend.
Seta: purely cream sauce with a few pieces of sliced mushroom. The sauce was very rich but the amount of mushroom was very very few. Not recommend.
Tres amigos: the sausages do taste like bar type Spanish food. Not sure if that piece of pita bread was Spanish nevertheless it was pretty good.
Seared tuna: it was bad. I had very high hope for this dish because a good version of it is actually super delicious. This tuna was not fresh, dull in taste and the texture was so bad. I didn’t know how I should feel about this dish. It was just bad.
Caracoles: very buttery and salty snails. Unmm too greasy a nope for me
Jamon Serrano: not too bad. Not on par with any Jamon in any supermarket off the fridge in Spain. It tasted very dull and of rough quality.
The PAELLA, which I expected to be at least some sort of weird tasting paella, was plain bad. It was a risotto. Very buttery and nothing like a paella.
Well, I will not go back to tasca. I know I hold Spanish food to a very high standard and it’s easy for me to compare what I had in Spain to what I had in Tasca (which might not sound fair to some). But honestly without any comparison, the food here was still mediocre at best. Salty greasy and bar type food that people enjoyed when they got a hangover.

This place is SO ridiculously affordable. It’s baffling. We ordered three glasses of wine and 6 tapas and it came to 60.00. We usually sit at the bar so the service is good. Table service is as expected.
Garlic Shrimp– really good. Lots of shrimp and tons of garlic pieces.
Brie– It’s brie, nuff said. Delicious
Steak– only okay but still good
Duck Confit– I really really liked this. The duck leg came with red cabbage and apples so it was sweet and savory. Unique flavor.
Pork shank braised in sangria (special of the day) — The meat was fall off the bone and the tomato base was on the sweeter side. It came with mashed potatoes too. I enjoyed it but I’m not sure if I would get it again.
Lamb sausage– this may have been a special. Didn’t like this one.
Overall this place is good for the price. If you are super into tapas you’ll be disappointed but if you like to have a full wallet then you’ll be happy.

Wow– some people really enjoy complaining!
Not me. I have had nothing but great experiences here. From the sangria, to the wide array of tapas, all the way to the service after the bill has been paid, the place is awesome and I’d recommend it to anyone. I lived in Spain for 6 months and I felt like I was back there for the night each time I have gone. Keep up the great work!

This is my favorite restaurant in Boston! I used to travel to Spain frequently for work, and this is the most authentic I’ve seen in the U.S. I live near Toro, but drive out to Brookline for Tasca as it’s that much better. The service is also much better, and the prices are more reasonable.

Staff very friendly and helpful for those who need some suggestions. The tapas plate are tasty and delicious. The red sangria is delicious! Prices very affordable and the great point to mention is having a Valet Parking.

First I have to say that I used to live around the corner from this restaurant and although it was never five star all around it had a great atmosphere with solid small bites and sangria:) I have been wanting to return since moving to the suburbs and did this past July 4^th, and it was hands down the worst dining experience I have ever had!!!
The service was just awful right off the bat but everyone has an off night and just brushed it off. It just went from bad to worse every minute. Sticky table, waited FOREVER
to get a drink and when they came my white wine was warm in a dirty glass and my husband was given his beer in a can!!! Wish I could say the food made it worth while but honestly was just bad… very sad that such a great little spot could go down so dramatically.
If I could have given no stars I would have!

We didn’t make a reservation for 2 on a Sunday night, but we were seated right away. The bread with hummus was nice. Since it was my first time here, I wanted to try everything. We got the potato fries, garlic shrimp (more oil than garlic), calamari (needed more flavor), meatballs, apple and brie, sausages, and eggplant pesto pizza (I probably wouldn’t order this again). The amount of food exceeded the physical capacity of our tummies. We couldn’t stomach everything. I thought the best dishes were the meatballs and the brie. If you check in on Unilocal,you’ll get a free dessert (whooo!). Everything else was ok. Our waitress was friendly and came to check on us a few times.

I’ve usually been totally satisfied with Tasca during my previous visits but the service at last night’s meal just rubbed me the wrong way. The food was fine — the escargot and croquettes I ordered were yummy as usual. But our waitress had quite the attitude. When we got our food she snapped at us something along the lines of «Well this is everything you’ve ordered so don’t expect anything to come out later» instead of politely asking if it looked like we were missing any dishes.
And then when it came time to pay the bill, most of the party paid in card and specifically wrote down how much was going to be put on each card since different people shared different dishes. My boyfriend ordered from the restaurant week menu instead of tapas so we decided to just put in cash to make it easier. This was explained to the waitress but when she came back she said our «math was wrong» and we went over the total so she just took that amount off someone’s charge. That made no sense to us because my boyfriend and I were clearly expecting change since everyone had put exact amounts their cards and we just put in full bills.
To match their good food, Tasca really needs to give their wait staff an attitude check and maybe some logic and math lessons. ⁴⁄₅ for food, ¹⁄₅ for service.

Perhaps it was the fact that they gave us a 3 course restaurant week menu, and we didn’t even know it was restaurant week ($ 20). Perhaps it was the fact that we only got the «good» tapas and service was excellent. Perhaps it was the fact that I was starving after a 4 hour hike on Mt. Monadnock. Whatever the reason (the last one probably), I had a great time eating here.
The bread comes with hummus, which is a nice touch, but the hummus was a little bland in my opinion. But hey, it’s free hummus.
I chose the pepper stuffed with paella, lamb shank, and dessert sampler (tiramisu, flan, and chocolate truffle). The pepper was good, but it was just one stuffed pepper split in half when I could’ve ate way more — understandably though, this was a restaurant week portion. The lamb shank was very tender, but the sauce was a little too tomato-​ey for me — personal preference, nothing against the food. The dessert sampler was excellent, and while I love flan and tiramisu, the truffle was very interesting and rich without being overtly sweet.
We also shared the lobster croquettes and the angel hair seafood pasta dish. Both were good, would recommend either or both. I was also eying their escargot tapa, but this was just the right amount of food.
At the end, they get us a scratch-​off, which comes with free valet parking for the next visit, which I would totally take up on except I don’t live in Boston.

I would really give it 3.5 but the friendly atmosphere and service gives it a 4. Tasca’s food definitely has strong and weak points. If you know which dishes are a definite yes and a safe and amazing choice, then you’re good to go. If you’re not entire sure which ones to order, then… this place could be a hit or miss.
From the two times I’ve been there, the first time was a total miss. We ordered the wrong food, and I was not tempted to go back.
The second time that I went, which was today, I was so happy and just couldn’t stop eating past my point of being really full. So here are my choices for next time.
Duck — there is a duck tapas dish that is just so good. A duck leg part cooked to perfection with amazing condiments. Btw don’t get it confused with the entrée duck, this is the tapas duck.
Tiramisu — nommmmmmmmmm
Gambas al ajillo — the chili garlic sizzling shrimp tapas dish. It is beyond words. So so so good. Just remember to chill it a little before you take a bite, it’s sooooo hot.
patatas bravas — not bad, but i mean. it’s just home fries
overall, waiters are nice and friendly and will be glad to explain the menus in detail to you and the interior is fun :)

Pros:
— Affordable and delicious food. We’ve only ordered a few dishes that we didn’t like.
— $ 5 tapas nights (advertised in their e-​mail newsletters) and for $ 10 bottle of wine or pitcher of sangria nights (Mondays– Thursdays).
— Three kinds of sangria to choose from (red, white and pomegranate) and it serves 5 – 6 glasses for a pitcher, which is pretty good when it’s on a $ 10 evening!
— Cozy and quaint atmosphere, especially on Spanish guitar night.
— Most servers are knowledgable and friendly. The servers/​manager always promptly correct any mistakes and aren’t quick to argue with you.
— They have valet! It’s usually only one person, but it’s still pretty convenient considering finding parking in the area is almost impossible without a local permit.
Cons:
— Cramped space. We really hate when we’re seated at one of the two-​seater tables. There just isn’t enough room for two people and multiple plates of tapas, especially if you’re squeezed in next to another table. I often can barely back up my chair without bumping into someone.
— The silverware never really appears to be clean (every time I go).
— I’ve found bugs in my food a few times over the years. The worst was when our sangria was served to us TWICE with flies in it– yuck! The service was great, though, as we’ve always been brought a bug-​free sangria or dish promptly and they always comp the dish or drink that had the bug in it. Just keep an eye-​out just in case! ;)
Dishes we love:
— Patatas Bravas
— Sizzling Garlic Shrimp
— Fish Taco
— Petite Filet Mignon
— Roasted Duck Leg
— Escargots
— Calamari (the aioli is divine)
— Goat cheese empanadas (we always get this dish)
— Salted cod fritters (ask for a side of aioli, this can be too dry for some)
Tips:
— Sign up for the e-​mail newsletters. They give you information on their $ 5 tapas nights, $ 10 sangria and bottle of wine nights and $ 10 off food for your birthday month. If you’re lucky you’ll be a «Lucky Draw» winner and get $ 10 off your food order during one month. We’ve won the «Lucky Draw» dozens of times, so it’s not a rarity! There are also good deals for valet in the e-​mails should you need to drive to get there (such as a coupon for free valet for the evening).
— Make a reservation if you can, especially if it’s a weekend night. This place can get pretty busy on the weekends and you can end up waiting for a long time. Wouldn’t be a big problem if you enjoy waiting at the bar, but it’s a small bar with about 6 seats so it’s often unavailable.

This a very interesting place. You have a huge choice of different appetizers, which all are extremely tasty and fun to eat. I would recommend order a few and share them. The only down side is that I found a hair in the piece of bread.

Tasca has a great atmosphere. It’s warm, cozy, and lively. When we stopped in, they had someone playing classical guitar in the corner, which really helped set the mood. It was busy, but not too loud for conversation.
The staff was really nice, from the hostess to our waitress, as well as the manager who checked in on our table. Our waitress had a positive personality, was enthusiastic about the menu and was able to answer any questions that we had. No complaints there.
As for the food, it was decent. Nothing mind-​blowing, but nothing awful, either. The sangria was delicious, though. I enjoyed the lobster croquettes, albondigas, and the patatas bravas. I like richer, spicer bravas sauces, but Tasca’s milder sauce was still good and worked nicely with the aioli. The gambas a la plancha were simple, as was the grilled brie and Spanish tortilla. My least favorite plate that we tried was the filet. The meat was cooked to a perfect temperature, but there was so much sauce that it kind of drowned out the meat. I can’t even remember some of the other items we tried, but nothing was horrible… especially when you factor in their reasonable prices. Menu offerings and vibe aside, one of the most Spanish things about Tasca was their realistic tapas prices.
Overall, Tasca is definitely worth checking out. It’s great spot for sharing a sampling of a wide variety of tapas at a fair price… all in a welcoming atmosphere. My only real complaint is that I wish they’d serve or offer pan con tomate as a stand-​alone plate. I saw it on the menu as an accompaniment with one of the dishes, but I always associate tapas with Catalan tomato bread! Enjoy!

If you’re looking for great tapas with a great atmosphere than this is the place to go. A quite dining area with candle lit tables, the food was authentic and fresh with great service. We had the tres amigos sausage plate, the mushrooms with cream sauce, the patatas bravas and muscles plate. All were delicious and very affordable. Plus Unilocal got us a free desert. I’m looking forward to trying different tapas the next time I visit!

One of the best tapas restaurants in greater Boston. We tried the duck conflict, the sausage trio, chicken and chorizo skewers and calamari. The sausage and chorizo was some of the best I have had with a smokey taste that was just perfection. Our server suggested we only try 4 – 5 to start, and we were glad we did because anything more for the 2 of us would’ve been way too much.
Great wine selection and very reasonably priced. Can’t wait to go back and try some more of the ones we were too full for!
Tip-​the valet parking was only $ 6 and totally worth it since parking in that area is pretty difficult.

First time here for a holiday dinner with my cousin and sister. Saw the high star rating so just had to try it out! My cousin made reservations at 7p but we all were earlier than planned and walked in around 5:30. We were seated right away, I think we were actually the first customers. We requested to be seated in the booth in the upper level right next to the Christmas tree, and they accommodated. It was a lovely spot!
The bread was delicious. So delicious we had three servings of it. It was fresh and warm. It was fluffy and the bottom had a nice crisp to it. The crisp also had some flavor to it.
For the tapas… the potato dish wasn’t anything special. It was very simply roasted with some sauce on it. The salmon dish was okay. Think slices, I wish is was colder. Raw warm fish doesn’t seem appealing to me. The mushroom was tasty. It seemed like it could’ve been from a can of cream of mushroom. But either way, it was tasty and was great to dip with bread. The escargot was tasty. The butter/​oil that it was flavored with went well to dip the bread. The mussels were small but the broth was good to dip the bread. The calamari seem plain, but the sauce was good to dip the bread with. The tapas were okay, but the bread was yum.
Our server was nice, friendly, and attentive!
I would like to check out other tapas around the Brighton/​Brookline area before coming back here for seconds or as my go-​to tapas place. It was a good experience overall.

I haven’t come Tasca’s about a year now but my cousins were interested in trying so we decided we will dine here for our Christmas dinner. It was my fifth visit here.
I had made reservations for 7:00pm however we were hungry and went in around 5:15pm instead. We were seated right away, upper level booth. They had a Christmas tree next to us so it was definitely a nice vibe.
We ordered two pitches of sangaria (pomegranate and red). I have to say the red wine is way better. For the tapas we got: calamari, potatoes, mussels, salmon, escargots and portobello mushrooms. I feel like the portions have definitely gone smaller and smaller from the time I came here two years ago. However the food were still good. The seafood paella was good however they were missing that slightly burnt/​crisp on the bottom of the pan. We ordered a flan and tiramisu, both were delicious and one was free! We checked in on Unilocal and was able to redeem a free dessert :) thank you Unilocal!
And saving the best for last… THE BREAD! Super delicious, very fresh and warm. They come with a side of hummus. It was amazing. It was fluffy and had a nice crisp taste at the bottom roll.
Overall everything was wonderful due to our waitress! She was on top of it and I like her attentive and friendly personality.

I took my friend here for her birthday and first of all– the ambience was an A! Such a cozy and warm atmosphere, very kind waiters, and the tapas were DELICIOUS. I definitely want to come back here and try the rest of the menu! I also receive emails about their coupons! :)

Tasca is a great Spanish Tapas bar in Brighton, near the Brookline border. The food here is very good, and I was very pleased with all of the dishes that came. While other nearby tapas places may have slightly better food, none of them compete with Tasca in terms of atmosphere.
The look and feel of Tasca is without a doubt ⁵⁄₅. The restaurant is beautiful and has a romantic feel. This is an ideal place to take a date. Even when packed the restaurant manages to not be too loud.
This restaurant really borders on a 5-​star review, but the food just isn’t quite there. I will definitely be returning and hope that with repeat experiences, Tasca makes it to the ⁵⁄₅ zone.

The food is really good but the service is embarrassingly bad. I’ve been several times as its walking distance to my house and I normally leave feeling bad for the wait staff. The management of this restaurant is awful, don’t bother making a reservation because they won’t honor it anyways and if you dare to ask when you’ll be seated you will be made to feel like you are inconveniencing everyone who works there. It’s almost as if they don’t want people to eat there which is too bad because the food is pretty good.
Last time I went I was seated an hour after my reservation time. All the silverware was filthy and it took 25 minutes to get a glass of water. To cap it off the manager was walking around the dining room on her cell phone yelling at somebody about rats in their apartment.
There are much better options in the area and I will not be going back unless they announce a change in management/​ownership.

This place is absolutely delicious. I had never had escargot (sp?) before, but I had it here and loved it so much. I also really liked the gnocchi.
The atmosphere is also great. The lighting is nice and flattering, and the service is just right.

We live really close to here and finally decided to try it last weekend.
The good:
–The tapas portions were the perfect sizes
–The tapas we had were excellent. One of them was a bit oily, but I know that can be the style of the food/​region. It wasn’t bad enough to overpower or ruin the meal.
–Very, very reasonably priced. Dare I say, cheap for the quality you get?!
The so-​so:
–The dining room was very cramped. It wasn’t terrible, but it wouldn’t be a place I’d go for a quiet, intimate meal. Being packed like sardines in a corner made the whole experience a bit more casual.

The dish we liked best here was the Jamon Serrano, but honestly the restaurant overall was a little underwhelming. The goat cheese empanadas were basically like a nicer, Spanish version of crab Rangoon (which may be good or bad depending on your tastes). The sauce of the filet mignon (solomillo) was honestly not to our taste, and it was a little too charred. The squid was slightly overcooked. We enjoyed the sangria. The ambiance was casual but makes for a good date spot. I’d say it wasn’t a bad dinner, but there are certainly better tapas places in the city and neighborhood.

My girl friends have been raving about this place for the last 2 years, I am so glad I got to try it! Tasca has a nice cozy romantic atmosphere, perfect for a date night ;] To top it off, they have live music after 6PM. I am not sure if this is every night, but I went on a Sunday and there was this cute old guitarist.
Now the food. Wow. there were so many options that looked tasty and I wanted to try all of them! We tried the pan seared tuna over black bean/​mango salad, roasted duck, escargots, lamb sausage over couscous, brie with apple and raisin chutney with grilled baguette, and spring roll (seasonal special). Everything was delicious with great flavors. My favorites were the lamb sausage and spring rolls. Brie and apple on bread is always good, but I dont think this was any more special here than other places I have had it.
I recommend coming with a somewhat larger group so you can try more tapas OR just bring a big appetite: D We ordered 6 tapas to share between 3 of us and it was okay; know I could have eaten more of the tasty foods.

Yes, I’m on Tasca’s email list, and yes, the $ 10 food gift certificate that I won as their July lucky draw winner is what lured me back in after a five year hiatus. That same email advertised a Three Course Anniversary Menu $ 19.95 Sunday through Thursday. It turns out, they allow the redemption of the certificate on their special prix fixe menu, so I decided to go that route.
For my appetizer, I selected the Fresh haddock taco with cilantro tomato salsa, iceberg lettuce and garlic aioli which is $ 4.50 a la carte. The fish was lightly fried, the taco wrap warmed by grilling, and the salsa fresh. It was a pretty tasty bundle, though the char marks had unfortunately run into the territory of tasting unpleasantly burnt.
As my entrée, my server sold me on their vegetarian option — Crispy baked eggplants stuffed with oven dried tomato and Manchego cheese served in a fresh tomato sauce with basil dressed roasted Mediterranean vegetables (vegetarian), which is also available tapas size for $ 6.50 sans the veggie side. (~$ 13 plus veggies)
For dessert, there was no option, as I was offered the Mini dessert sampler platter consisting of Spanish Flan ($ 5.95 a la carte), Tiramisu ($ 6.95), Chocolate truffle (Is that the same as the Tarta de Chocolate $ 6.50 — Flourless chocolate terrine?)
The sampler platter sounded impressive, but the reality was not. Small portions of each of the three desserts were set upon a small plate. As a whole, it loses class points on presentation as each was sliced from their original individually portioned treats and the truffle wasn’t even a full quarter of a circle. In total, the platter was smaller than a single whole dessert.
Admittedly though, both flan and tiramisu were terrific. The flan was creamy and smooth, the tiramisu was light and creamy. The truffle was quite dense and rich, yet not a sweet dessert.
Service was pleasant on the whole, but my water was never refilled as I neared the bottom of the glass, and plates arrived warmed to the table with no kind warning.

I recently realized that I’ve literally been dining here regularly for over a decade now, so it’s safe to say Tasca is one of my favorites. I’ve come here for everything from a romantic date to catching up with a group of friends to dinner with the parents, and I think the main reason I keep coming back is that among all the other excellent restaurants in Boston, the value just can’t be beat here. The tapas dishes are all reasonably priced to start with– many of which are very generous with portion size-​, but combine that with all the awesome specials, lucky draws, neighborhood nights, and other deals, and you’ll always walk away without having dropped a ton of cash but your belly will be very happy.
It’s not just about value though; the atmosphere is adorable and romantic, and the quality of the food is solid as well. I’m rarely disappointed in any of the tapas, and typically order some of my usual favorites– patatas bravas, gambas al aijio– mixed in with whatever else I’m feeling that night (check out that night’s specials).
With regards to the entrees and desserts though, I’ve had mixed experiences, so I might recommend sticking to the tapas; I’m not the biggest fan of their paella, and once had a flan that just tasted like sweet scrambled eggs, but the other day I had baked haddock in a saffron sauce via a special prix fixe which was quite nice, and most of their other desserts are pretty yummy (the bread pudding and pastel vasco come to mind). Good prices on the wine/​sangria too (especially the specials on offer), and they usually have a few bottles of craft beer on offer as well.
I think Tasca is a bit of a hidden gem. It’s not the newest tapas restaurant, nor most trendy, nor most inventive or exciting; but it delivers a pretty consistent experience and is always my default when I get a craving for Spanish food. I like dabbling with the Toros and Dalis of the world now and then, but I always come back to Tasca, and am proud to be a local here.

Tapas tapas tapas! On the outside, it looks mysterious, dark and interesting, but on the borderline of sketchy, which may just be due to the neighboring area. Walking in, it still is dark, but has a sexy, flirty, Spanish, like you really are in Spain vibe. It’s very authentic, old, dark and completely loses the sketchy vibe you might once have felt. The environment is unique and I love it!

At first, the menu is overwhelming. It’s a place that it might be smart to look at the menu ahead of time to have an idea of where you want to start to order. Like hundreds of options. The group I went with was large so we got about 12 tapas… Which were all amazing. Each one was unique with fun flavor combinations. They had some delicious seafood and flatbread options.
The best part of tasca? The sangria and fun drinks! The drinks come in mason jars which is always a perk. A very fun atmosphere with interesting food and drinks!

Was pretty excited about this place! Took my sister out because I decided to take the day off work tomorrow due to the snow. We made reservations for 5pm. Turns out we were the first two to arrive. The manager took us to a tiny table in the corner, leaving all the booths vacant. That was not at all efficient. We ordered a lot of plates and the table was too cramped for us to eat comfortably. Although we got street parking because we were early, I can see it painful when it gets busy.
As for the food, I had better tapas. The seafood paella was the worst dish we ordered. Way too salty and the portion is so small. Not worth $ 20. Disappointed! Probably will not return =/

I’ve been to Tasca 2 – 3 years ago, and I remember loving the tapas dishes that my girl friends and I ordered along with our pitcher of red sangria.
I went recently with my boyfriend on a Thursday (only Monday-​Wednesday are $ 5 tapas/​$ 10 sangria pitcher nights). I have to say — the quality of their food is so much worse than I remember. I like very flavorful foods, especially in my tapas dishes, and there really weren’t any flavor in any of the plates we ordered.
The bread that came in the beginning should have been toasted, or buttered, or something. The red pepper hummus that they placed with the bread was so dry and really did not add anything to the already dry bread.
What we got:
8 Jamon Serrano y Queso Manchego — Really, really disappointed. They were basically giant pieces of parmesan cheese over dried prosciutto pieces with two pieces of baguette. The whole dish was dry and it needed something to moisten it up.
9 Pimientos del piquillo rellenos de mariscos — The presentation was really cool. The paella was really not that flavorful, and only made better because of the plate full of sauce that was next to the stuffed peppers.
14 Gambas al ajillo — OMG HOW CAN YOU MESS THIS UP?! seriously they were overoiled/​garlic shrimp dripped in oil. Nothing else. They were so bland.
15 Croquetas de pollo y jamon — These taste like chicken croquettes you could get from the supermarket and heat in the microwave.
34 Salmón ahumado — This was super disappointing. The salmon was a little overcooked, and the potato pancake tasted like mush. I expected a crunchy, flavorful potato pancake to complement the salmon but the overall dish was so bland.
The pitcher of white sangria was good. Nothing to complain about there.
If you do come here, it would be much better to come Monday-​Wednesday when they have their dishes for cheaper. Sign up for their emails!
Otherwise, we paid over $ 60 for a very «meh» meal.
