Dr. Schwartz is a specialist with expertise in performing both simple and radical operations for various gynecological cancers.
Using state-of-the-art surgical techniques, we offer a variety of procedures to treat malignancies of the ovaries, peritoneum, uterus (and endometrium), fallopian tubes, cervix, vagina, and vulva. These include: radical hysterectomy; surgical debulking; omentectomy; radical vulvectomy; para-aortic, pelvic, and inguinal lymphadenectomy (removal of the lymph nodes), and pelvic exenteration.
Dr. Schwartz is considered a subspecialist with expertise in minimally invasive laparoscopic techniques for the treatment of many gynecological cancers. Certain laparascopic procedures can now be performed with the state-of-the-art da Vinci Surgical System. Dr. Schwartz has extensive experience with the da Vinci System and is pleased to discuss its use in specific cases.

Dr. Benjamin Schwartz is a specialist in Gynecologic Oncology and Minimally Invasive Surgery. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow in the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists and the American College of Surgeons and a Board Certified Gynecologic Oncologist.
In 2011, Dr. Schwartz was named Chairman of the Department of Obstetrics & Gynecology at Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center where he also serves as the Director of the Division of Gynecologic Oncology.
