Courtyard by Marriott Bristol

I don’t know about «Dream Room» but it is a nice hotel. When people say convenient, what they are trying to say it that it is next to the interstate. On the backside you can here the traffic all day and night from I-​81. I would recommend a room on the front. Staff is very friendly and good at making local recommendations. I stay in Marriotts twice a month and this one fits in with the others in the chain.

Very clean, very convenient, outstanding staff. No free coffee, no free breakfast, no free cookies. Pick your rate, pick your fate.

The bed was really comfortable & the room was clean. They gave us toothpaste after asking. The only negative was the noise from the streets, which was constant.

Recommend this hotel to anyone. Bristol is a small town but The Courtyard is conveniently close to everything. Restaurants, stores, and theater at walking distance. Just minutes from the interstate. Very clean. Staff is really nice!

Great hotel for business travelers. Super nice staff and you can call down to the restaurant in the morning and they’ll make breakfast to go for you.

Clean. Friendly staff. Bar. Pool. Gym. Laundry. 114 for the night. Not the cheapest, but worth it to avoid bed bugs and being able to enjoy some luxury.

This Courtyard Marriott upholds the hotel chain’s rigorous standards for quality and service, evident in the efficient staff and clean and modern facility.
As you may have experienced, quality can vary from branch to branch, so it was good to find that our second lodging option, after the other was too unacceptable, met and even exceeded our expectations.
Though our room was smaller than some of the other Marriott rooms I’ve stayed at, it was very well furnished, clean, and airy.
They have the usual Marriott amenities, like a beautiful, though small, indoor pool, complimentary breakfast and beverages, fitness center (24 hours), vending and ice machines on each floor, etc. Additionally, rooms are provided with name-​brand hair and body care products, like mini bottles of Paul Mitchell shampoo and conditioner. Nice!
Again, these are all perks, not requirements, but I nearly kissed the floor after seeing this Marriott’s lobby and remembering the dingy carpet and musty smell of the Days Inn that I had fled from.
Compared with any other lodging option, I would say Bristol, VA’s Marriott is still an above average experience, regardless of what you’re used to or have encountered in your travels.

In the words of my son…“this room is my dream room.” This place is clean and the beds are amazing. Marriott rarely fails! The standards are pretty consistent throughout the US. I have stayed in a couple. The décor is pretty much the same in all the rooms, clean lines, modern, comfortable! The pillows even have variety from soft to hard. feather to whatever! There is a Starbucks, a bar, free wi-​fi. You really can’t ask for a better hotel on Interstate 81. After driving 6 hours… I was done!
My only minus star, was for the lady at the front desk who did not look up to greet me. She didn’t even say hello, until I spoke first. I will accept it as a fluke! Overall… a great hotel!!!

Stayed here for a very short night after a long road trip so my observations are limited. However, I can tell you that this is a nice hotel in what appears to be a pretty safe area and around a lot of restaurants, a Wal Mart, movie theater, etc. The hotel is very close to the interstate. My room was on the opposite side so noise wasn’t an issue. This is a typical Courtyard and seems to be relatively new. The lady checking me in was very nice but initially couldn’t locate my reservation and asked me to find my reservation number. Not what I wanted to do after 18 hours on the road. However, she did find it in short order. That was the only negative experience I had. I would recommend this hotel but would say if you’re a light sleeper get on the north side of the building.

Didn’t have a reservation, but that was not a problem. Staff was wonderfully helpful, extremely pleasant and efficient. I would definitely stay at this Courtyard again. Room was a really nice size and very clean. Loved the layout of the bathroom — lots of counter space.

This is a nice Courtyard just off the Interstate. Once you exit the Interstate you will make a left turn on the small street to get to the hotel It is easy to miss the exit as we did and ended up traveling several blocks to get back to the hotel. Parking can be an issues if you check in late as the area is loaded with restaurant and some customers were seen parking in the Courthyard parkign lot. The check i n was pleasamnt, the lobby clean and the clerks professional. Our room was clean and well appointed. The Courtyards generally do not have a breakfast with the room and this one was in that category. We feel the charges for a breafast are too high thus we eat breakfast away from the hotel. A pleasant stay.

Beautiful rooms, friendly staff, super clean hotel. Very convenient to everything in downtown Bristol.

Impressed to say the least! Courtyards are usually pretty good, but this place has a very updated and modern feel… maybe the best Courtyard I’ve been.
Room is spacious and comfortable and very clean!

I stayed at this hotel for four nights in end May. A very convenient location with more amenities than any other Courtyard I haves stayed. Plenty of places to eat near by (all chain restaurants, btw) the in house laundry facility was very convenient. The staff was very friendly.
The only strike against it was its pool side jacuzzi – didn’t look clean. Stuff floating on the water.

This courtyard definitely exceeded my expectations. The room was fabulous and cozy. The facility is well-​maintained and clean. Highly recommended. My only complaint is that the nearby freeway (I-​81) is quite noisy. I’d try getting a room facing away from the freeway. :)
