Established in 1980 by Dr. Blake Barnes, the Dental Center of North Iowa has grown At the Dental Center of North Iowa, we are committed to providing patients of all ages with the highest standard of dental care! With three convenient locations in Mason City, Belmond and Britt, our top priority is helping you achieve and maintain excellent oral health and a beautiful, healthy smile.

Business Owner

Dr. Eric Barnes earned his Doctorate of Dental Surgery from the University of Iowa College of Dentistry in 2014. He is a member of the American Dental Association and the Seattle Study Club.

Dr. Barnes moved back to his hometown after dental school to become active in the North Iowa community and help the residents with their dental needs. He volunteers with the Humane Society and Habitat for Humanity, and is an active member of Praise Community Church. Dr. Barnes loves animals — especially his dog, Bentley. He is also an avid Iowa Hawkeye fan and enjoys playing golf.

He is currently engaged to Katie Lewis, a dental hygienist who works at the Dental Center of North Iowa.
