It is our passion to offer Yoga, Meditation, Aromatherapy and Wellness classes to our local community in a relaxing, compassionate, and non-​competitive space.

We believe there is an art to health and well-​being, and for this reason, we have created a celebrated oasis for students to explore their own path within a safe, friendly studio. We value the pursuit of knowledge and good health and strive to forge a strong wellness community based on these principles.

History

Established in 2004.

Beyond Center for Yoga opened in 2004 under the instruction and guidance of Stephanie Mortellaro. In the Fall of 2012, the studio was purchased by Melissa Kleehammer, who markets and advertises for the studio, as well as organizes the class schedule and workshops.

When you find yoga, you feel a deep transformation, not only on your mat, but within yourself. You become stronger, more flexible, and then there’s a shift… you notice your posture, your breath, and you begin to see more clearly. You have a deeper appreciation for life and begin to understand presence and living in the moment… Welcome to BEYOND!

Melissa is a Registered Yoga Teacher and found yoga while struggling with her career path and seeking her true passion. With a personal background in gymnastics and fitness, she found a deep connection to yoga and the transition was clear. It did not take her long to experience yoga and understand it’s philosophy as a new way to live and is enthusiastic and passionate about sharing this awareness with others.
