Teen Challenge

I recently attended an annual event that was catered by Teen Challenge Catering. I particularly enjoyed the beef empanadas, an interesting and tasty passed appetizer consisting of a plantain pattie topped with hummus, a slice of fresh mozzarella and a slice of ripe tomato, the soft chocolate chip cookie half dipped in chocolate, and the chocolate dipped strawberries. Yum!
What pushes it from 3.5 star-​dom to 4 stars is that hiring this catering company not only provides us with a service, but supports a worthy charity, win-​win!

Young men and older men with broken lives who’ve isolated their families or who have no family, join this 21 month program. They learn about God’s plan, learn to beat addictions, and get their lives back on track.
Everyone in Brockton seems to know and respect this organization. Near the campus is an affiliated car wash and laundry mat where the men can work during their stay.
The last Friday of every month, all the northeast chapters, including people from the women’s facilities, meet here for that months graduations. These ceremonies are open to the public. I attended my first last night. It’s a moving experience to see changed lives, where these men can rejoin their families and be trusted again.
