Advanced Disposal

After years of good service I have become quite disappointed with Advanced Disposal. They will pick up virtually anything on their normal weekly routes with a few exceptions. Items of unusual size and weight must wait for Spring Bulk Waste Week and that is understandable. They will supposedly pick up as much as three «bulky» items up to 40 pounds each during regular weekly pickup.
In the past they always picked up my cut ornamental grass which I have always had neatly bundled and tied. The heaviest bundles might reach 20 pounds. This week they picked up my regular trash and left the bundles of ornamental grass sitting by the roadside. When I called their office I was told that I will have to make other arrangements. I presume with Patton Township.
Advanced Disposal will gladly pick up who-​knows-​what but will not pick up dead ornamental grass (neatly prepared for them) which, as far as I know, poses no environmental hazard. It makes no sense.
