History

Established in 1976.

Borax Paper is a family-​owned business started by President and CEO Marc Borak. Marc, his brother-​in-​law Steve Denmark and three employees served the local wholesale meat industry before branching out to restaurants and other food service establishments.

Thirty-​five years later, Borax Paper is now known as one of the leading distributors of paper goods in the tri-​state area, serving not only the food service industry, but hospital and nursing home chains as well as prestigious colleges and universities.

In 2006, Borax Paper became the first distributor of NatureWorks PLA packaging. A «green» alternative to plastic, it became the cornerstone of Borax Paper’s «growing greener every day» line of environmentally-​friendly products.
