Small but helpful For basic hardware/repair/cleaning items, this little place holds a lot. And if they don’t have it, they’ll either direct you to somewhere nearby that very likely may, or offer to have it for you the next day from the warehouse that serves the company’s several such stores around the city.

DT Hardware Store is a nice place, small but friendly, you’ll get help and answers to your questions concerning any repair that you are involve too. The Store has a decent variety of merchandise for repairs and cleaning supplies. Definitely i recommend it to my fellow Unilocalers, if you live around this neighborhood

Perfect store when you’ve moved in and need the odds and ends! It’s right outside the bus stop, so it’s easy on the way home. Great prices, clean, and helpful staff!

Relatively new, small hardware store on 231st St. near Broadway. Right near the bus stop and the Dunkin Donuts, which is a great location to have a business because there’s so much pedestrian traffic. Their prices are decent. I picked up a few small items here for some gardening and grouting projects(don’t you hate it when you have to grout your garden) and definitely spent less than I would have at a big chain store. The employees were friendly. I think one guy told me that this was a family-owned business and that they had another location in northern Manhattan. Usually when I need hardware supplies I go to the huge store down on Broadway and 236th, but this is a much more convenient location for me, so I’m happy it’s here.
