This place sucks. went there for lunch. they started to bring out the dinner buffet. .we had a late lunch .wasn’t aware that the fresh food was for the dinner time. took some of the food and they charged me dinner price. The staff never told us the food was the dinner time… after arguing with the nasty lady boss paid the bill left zippo tip… vowed never to come back to this dive

Just good enough if you want simple chinese food. The Chicken with Broccoli is the best choice. The General Tsos Chicken is so so. It is a decent place.

My old chinese take out place! Dragon City has been around forever it seems and I’m glad even with the new layout of Bay Plaza(I moved out in 09) this place is still here! This food is good and true Chinese New york take out! Their ribs are juicy and I always loved their Chicken and string beans right next to their chicken and broccoli! The price is reasonable as well for someone who has to get chinese take out in TX. last I checked, you were guranteed a free drink during lunch right? In Tx. hah! You get NOTHING! Smaller portions, and their food taste so damn different! So Praise Dragon City! As for rude customer service, I never had an issue with them, but I have seem them have bad days *shrugs* its a new yorker thing, if one wants better service, pay more =/

So called the best in the area but will never make it in larger cities. I ordered the Szechuan chicken nd was severely dissappeared by the lack of spice nd bland taste. I also ordered quartz size where they charged me twice what I would pay for a pint but kept the amount of chicken nd doubled the amount of vegetables. considering their meat is of the lowest quality you would think they would give u a bit more… wouldnt order from here again unless I was starving or desperate.

Their food is about the best in the area. The delivery time varies on the time of day that you place your order. Some days they are pretty fast with their delivery. Other times I have to call to find out if they lost my order. If you go in to sit and eat and expecting a friendly staff you will be disappointed. My suggestion is to order a delivery.

My uncle loved this chinese food shop. I use to come here with my friends as a kid. The food is greasy, but tasty. Customer service is eh. As the clerk rarely articulates English well. Go if your in the mood to indulge your gluttony.

The food there was good, service was also good and the restaurant is clean, which is important to me. It is a convenient place to go to especially if you are shopping in the area where you need to take a break to rest and eat. The décor was nice but not over the top that some restaurants tend to look too gaudy. They had allot of the popular Chinese food that I enjoy eating. I liked it so much that I ordered some food for takeout for the following day.

Their shrimp fried rice and chicken w/broccoli are one of the best in the Bronx, most Chinese places don’t cook the food good enough or it tastes nasty, I definitely recommend it

Do not eat at this place the employees are nasty. Picking nose and putting there hands in people’s food. After witnessing them do that I returned the good only to have the money thrown in my face.

the food is pretty good, at least the better around here. but they do tend to get very busy which means a 45 minute wait or sometimes longer on deliveries. generally pretty clean, as i observed and consistent descent food. i say go for it.

The first thing that struck me, as I walked in at about 6:00 to put in my order, was the cleanliness of this place. The only thing you could smell was the food being feverishly stir-fried in the kitchen. I placed my order, which included Shrimp Toast, for me a good barometer of quality. If it is dark, oily and smelly, the other food usually follows. In this case, it was golden brown, virtually non-greasy, due to a napkin in the bag(ancient Chinese secret?!?) and fresh tasting. I also had fried scallops and General Tso’s chicken. The scallops were sweet, and the general Tso’s was well-made, with a decent crunch to the broccoli, and crisp skin to the chicken nuggets. A very good take-out place. I will go back!

Located in Bay Plaza Shopping Center, this Chinese Restaurant stands out from others in the area due to their friendly employees, flavorful food, and prices. Tends to be busy with customers who pour in for lunch/dinner while shopping at Bay Plaza, Dragon City is a long-running legacy at Bay Plaza. Recommended.

Dragon City, a small Chinese restaurant, located in the Bay Plaza Shopping Mall in Co-Op City is one of the better places to satisfy your urge for Chinese food. While their food is nothing special to write home about it is, however, not bad Chinese food either. I usually pop in to grab a quick pint of Pork or House Special Fried Rice for a fast on-the-go meal. Much better than the other Chinese fast food joints in Co-Op City by far!

This is more like fast food restuarant, you can eat in the restaurant but is more like a kitchen restaurant. The food is good, they are fast cook, when they deliver theyare honest they sent you everything you ordered and is cheap. I recommend this restaurant.

What can I say about this place? Well I’ve only been here once. I had decided to stop in here before leaving co-op and going on the bus. I placed my order and didn’t have to wait a long time for my order. Compared to the chinese food place near eastchester road, which is accross from Top Tomato’s abandoned area, this Chinese place is efficient. It just like what you would expect from any chinese food place, and there’s actually a reasonable size space to sit and eat your food. I would go back here if need to.

I never had a problem here but basically I agree– It just works. I used to work in this area in Co-op City and did not wanna eat BK all the time. The only thing that sucked was I only had 30 min to eat lunch and sometimes this place would take forever to make General Tso’s lunch special. Needless to say 90% of the time I could never finish the whole thing at lunch and then still get back to work on time. I did like the majority of the meal that I would eat though. Compared to the other chinese take out places in the area, this is one of the better ones. Maybe the Chinese sit down AYCE buffet near Liquidators is the only one better.

Eh, it works. It’s infinitely better than Jade Palace in Section 5. Here, the food actually tastes like food – particularly the actual CHINESE dishes. Sadly, most take-out Chinese joints ’round here don’t like to go much past their chicken wings, but this place pays attention to their cultural roots. Singapore Mei Fun is quite tasty, as is the Chow Fun. It’s a standby, so I go there pretty often, I’d say. But, the décor and sometimes sketchy cleanliness is a bit of a detractor.

Dragon City is located in the corner of Co-Op City shopping center, next to a Sleepy’s mattress store, a jewelry store and Liberty Travel and adjacent to Red Lobster. The restaurant offers authentic Cantonese and Szechuan cuisine; this line really means nothing to a common man, seeking instant gratification from your standard fare of Chinese take out. Food is ok. I’ve had beef & broccoli, chicken & broccoli, lo mein, and plenty of standard items you see on a take out menu. The only thing of importance is that it has 8 booths, with either yellow or faded orange/salmon(forgive me, I felt color blind when I ordered today) benches. In a shopping strip mall, it’s hard to compete when you have a Chinese food buffet, McDonald’s, Popeye’s, Burger King and Applebee’s all in the vicinity. IFHTP3
