This place definitely epitomizes what a typical New York Italian bakery should be. I’m usually overwhelmed by the selection of desserts and pastries they have, so I usually get their tri-colored cookies and chocolate dipped sugar cookies. They have fantastic cannolis for anyone craving a something super sweet. This place definitely knows how to make amazing desserts and pastries. A must try for anyone new to the area.

The tricolor cookies are a must try. They are fresh and taste delicious. You can’t just eat one, it’s addictive. I also tried the Tiramisu which was amazing as well. The people who work there are great and the prices are reasonable too. I definitely plan to go back to try other different pastries.

Love Enrico’s pastries. Their cannolis and sfogliatelle are delicious. My favorite things to get there are the italian ices. I would always walk to Enrico’s with my cousins for italian ices whenever we visited our grandparents. My favorite flavors are chocolate, coconut, and cappuccino.

I got the whole cheesacake with pecans and chocolate at the top. I was excited to eat it but oh my it’s hard as a rock. The cheesecake was too dense I had a hard time cutting through it. I had to drink water after every bite for fear of choking on it. My husband got a cookie that’s hard as rock too. I paid 28 dollars and I’m so disappointed.

The best pastries I’ve had in a long time. Their stuff is seriously to die for. They even make fresh doughnuts that are always really good and never stale or dry. Yum.

Delicious cakes and pastries with excellent friendly service. Try their carrot cake — it’s amazing!

Much nicer and cleaner than the Hartsdale location! Extremely pleasant and well groomed staff — total opposite of their sister store up north. The selection appears to be larger and they have CRONUTS! Skip the Hartsdale location. Talk about day and night. Totally worth the trip!

The pastries are generally good, but a bit inconsistent. Our favorite were the cakes and tiramisu. The donuts were too sweet and the cupcakes are kind of dry and not nearly as good as their cake slices.

Ever since I’ve moved to this neighborhood, I come here almost every Saturday, 5 lbs later, I love this bakery. Being a born and bred manhattanite, I thought nothing could compare to Veneiros bakery! But this place is great, cannolis, sfogliatelle and the cookies are all 5 star! Customer service is great! Girls are always friendly!

The décor of this place could use some work. But the pastries are okay. I ate the cream puffs and a tiramisu. The cream in the cream puff was more like a custard. Not what I was expecting. So the inside wasn’t light and the texture was more solid. The outer shell though, tasted normal. Now, I’ve had many tiramisu’s in the past 3 months, so Enrico’s is quite different. The mascarpone cheese is very evident in the cream. So it is most dense cream I’ve tasted for a tiramisu. It had a lot of cocoa on top and not enough ladyfingers or rum/liquor. Not my kind of tiramisu. Maybe I made a mistake in choosing the wrong type of pastries of this baker. But their presentations on their pastries are very nice. Their cupcakes look so delicious looking though! If I ever come back, I will have to try something else.

I went to try some of these Cronuts I keep hearing about. They call them Cronies here … but the chefs were not there on Monday… so I bought a cartouche? is that how you spell it? It tasted like a donut with cannoli cream on the inside. And sugar dusted on the outside. It was pretty good. I also got a slice of chocolate fudge cheesecake which was pretty good. rich. But both desserts were very heavy. Not bad overall, but 3 stars for not selling Cronies on Mondays.

This review is for their stand at the San Gennaro festival. Tried the cronut knockoff. So glad I didn’t wait in line for 3 hours. The plain I got was as tasty, but definitely not worth the price or a wait at the original bakery. $ 5! WOW!

Was very curious about the Cro-nuts. Kept walking by and finally went in. Inside is kind of shanty but very simple. They have good espresso. I got a cronot and it was actually really good! Not too sweet, just right! The girl Samantha who helped me was very warm and nice. I will definitely go back.

This would be your typical Bronx Italian Bakery if it weren’t for one thing: CRONUTS! But let’s put that aside for a second. Enrico’s has got the usual suspects: assorted cakes, pastries, cookies(I didn’t see any bread), a gelato station and some really excellent coffee. While I was waiting for their crowning glory, I decided to settle my stomach with a coffee and a lobster shell packed with creamy cannoli filling. And then came the Cronuts. I can’t describe how amazing these suckers are. They’re not exactly donuts, not exactly croissants but they’re 100% heaven. I bought an assorted variety for a dinner party and they were a hit, although they were a bit pricey at $ 3.50 a pop. It doesn’t matter because you get your money’s worth, with each pastry engorged with various creamy custard fillings and glazes so delectable and addictive. I can only expect that Enrico’s popularity will grow since they currently have a monopoly on these little critters(at least for now). The bakery is also a bit out of my way, but who am I kidding? If I can travel to Brooklyn for pizza, I can go 15 minutes out of my way for a cronut.

Enjoyed a delicious cup of cappuccino and a fresh made biscotti. The place was clean, the service was friendly and the food was delicious. We tried a few other places on that block and this one was our favorite, overall.

I’ve been avoiding this place for a while because I know I’d get addicted. And now I am. They have a LARGE variety of fresh baked cookies, pastries, cannolis, cakes, etc. The cookies with jam filling just melt in your mouth. We also tried a chocolate mouse(filled with mousse, shaped like a mouse) and cream puffs. All A++++

Was in the mood for some cupcakes and the original place I had in mind was closed so I walked on over to Enrico’s, remembering seeing mondo-sized cupcakes($ 3.25) in their case. Here’s what I ordered: –red velvet: slightly larger than the other cupcakes and although very heavy and dense, the cake-part seemed somewhat light. Thankfully, the cake was moist, but I’m not a fan of butter cream frosting(I like my red velvets with cream cheese frosting) and then on top of the frosting was drizzled chocolate which I didn’t like. –Oreo: crumbs of Oreo cookie was sprinkled on top of butter cream frosting. The cake was chocolate and was dry which added to the dense factor. The red velvet is a better choice, but not by much. 3 stars because I think I know to stick with the slices of pies from here.
