Do yourself a favor. Never come to this place. Very dirty, staff very unexperienced and unprofessional. Extemely poor customer service. Chairs all torn up, not surprised if bed bugs among other creepy crawlers. They have to shut this place down. Cheap price not worth it. Id rather pay a little more and get exceptional service. Not star worthy. But I can’t post without one so there.

Although I have been to better and more professional places, this was a good in and out place. I came here in 2011 though lol. So I got my nails wrapped and the lady that did my nails did an amazing job, the design was beautiful and creative and who can beat that price? The lady that did my nails was a light skinned short hispanic and had the snake eye tongue piercing, if she’s still there thats who I will recommend getting your nails done with. She was very nice and accommodating.

they skipped me; I got a butterfly & it broke while I was drying my nails. I usually go to treemont. but my friend told me I pay too much. I pay for quality not for a bs job. & I feel like their polish is cheap. the bathroom is nasty they got a torn shower curtain hanging from the ceiling to hide you while you pee

I’m what you call super low maintenance(borderline cave woman). As in, my hand doubles as a comb and my legs won’t see a razor until the end of summer if possible. Yes, I know. I’m the picture-perfect woman. Now, my sister has this crazy idea that the state of your nails are somehow the portal to a world in which guys fall to their knees and sing your praises because of your glorious nails. Or at least that’s what I got from all the stuff she said to convince me to get my nails done. I wasn’t really listening. Anyway, I begrudgingly accompanied her to this horrid torture chamber they call«Envy Nails» and sat down in a chair while my manicurist talked up a storm with whoever was on the other line of her cellphone and proceeded to cut up my fingers as if she were making f#ckin paper snowflakes. I winced every time she put alcohol on my open wounds and I swore I would punch my sister in the face right then and there(didn’t help that she was laughing at me the entire time). In fact, here’s a better explanation of how my manicure went: You remember the time you stuck your finger into the straw hole of a lid and then tried to pull it out? Yeah, times that searing pain by 5. She did a terrible job(half of my nails were crooked) and had no consideration for the customer. This place only gets one star because I liked my nail polish color and $ 10 is a deal in my book. So I’m really just being nice. Oh, there’s a long wait so if you can go on a weekday, head that route instead.

I heard about this nail salon all over the Bronx and decided to give it a try. It was pretty fair, considering what I expected. $ 10 is the price for tips with a free ten nail design, which is pretty good. There’s a few things you should know to get in at out as quick as possible(my total time was an hour) : 1.) They have a sign-in sheet for manicures and pedicures. REMEMBERYOURNUMBER&LISTENFORITVERYCAREFULLY. I cannot stress this enough because if you miss your number, you will be crossed off the list and forced to sign in AGAIN. 2.) Come on a weekday about 11am for the best wait time. On a Saturday, everyone, their moms & their grandmothers are in there and you will be waiting 2 – 3 hours. 3.) If you plan on getting a mani & a pedi, sign up for the manicure first. The pedicure list is usually shorter so if you sign up for both, you will miss one. I find this to be semi-good considering the $ 10 price. At times it can be a hassle but you get what you pay for.
